Chapter 522: The Corpse of a Supreme

TL: Etude

In the blink of an eye, only about ten first-tier Eternal Child of the Universe remained on the field. The Ten Thousand Layer Realm barrier were shattered one by one by these princes, and the Angel Child of the Universe, who was the closest to Ye Tian, broke through multiple barriers and arrived in front of Ye Tian.

“Blade of the Angels!”

A massive white blade tore through the void, slashing with terrifying force.

This Child of the Universe, a leading figure of the Angel Race and stronger than the average first-tier Eternal Child of the Universe, was well documented among the information Ye Tian had on these first-tier beings.

“Prince Blade!”

Prince Blade, highly esteemed within the Angel Race, had disappeared thirty thousand years ago, leading humanity to speculate he had been sealed away. Now, it seemed this was indeed the case. However, Prince Blade did not recognize Ye Tian, as Ye Tian’s rise had been meteoric and he had kept a low profile, without gaining much notoriety in other parts of the universe, making it difficult for information about him to spread among the various races.

At that moment, Prince Blade mistook Ye Tian for a first-tier Eternal Child of the Universe of similar strength, who had only managed to kill other second-tier beings quickly due to his spatial talents. He believed his own strength was not inferior to Ye Tian’s and that by holding Ye Tian off, the other first-tier Eternal Children could join forces to kill him.

But he overestimated his own strength.

“Heavenly Moon Saber!”

With a slash of his saber, Ye Tian collided with the Angelic Blade of Prince Blade.

With a thunderous boom, Prince Blade was sent flying, his divine armor cracking.

At the same time, Prince Blade spat out blood, heavily wounded.

“This guy’s strength is second only to an Invincible Eternal Child!” Prince Blade roared.

The Angelic and Demon first-tier Eternal Children were shocked at this.

The term “Invincible Eternal Child” wasn’t just a title; it referred to those with freakishly strong abilities among the Eternal Children. An Invincible Eternal Child could easily kill ordinary first-tier beings, possessing extreme power.

If Prince Blade had faced a true Invincible Eternal Child, he would have been mortally wounded by now. While Ye Tian’s strength had not reached that of an Invincible Eternal Child, it was certainly close.

But even if not invincible, Ye Tian was not someone they could deal with.

“How could humanity have such a powerful Eternal Child without any leaks of information?” the Immortal and Demon Children wondered in disbelief.

Both the Immortal and Demon Races had their own near-Invincible Eternal Children who hadn’t made it to this encounter, busy with other fortunes to seize. They couldn’t believe that humanity, considered a mid-tier force in the universe, could produce such an extraordinary being.

They indeed possessed weapons that could severely injure Ye Tian, but those were uncontrollable and posed a significant risk of killing the wielder.

“Retreat!” The Immortal Princes prepared to flee.

Seeing this, the Demon Princes also chose not to engage with Ye Tian any further, fearing total annihilation.

“We shall remember this, Human Prince!” Prince Blade exclaimed, producing a small angelic statue that transformed into a massive angelic phantom enveloping him.

In a flash of white light, Prince Blade and the phantom vanished.

In an instant, all first-tier Eternal Children had fled, with Ye Tian unable to stop any of them. It wasn’t for lack of desire but capability.

“First-tier Eternal Children are indeed difficult to kill, with all their life-saving treasures,” Ye Tian frowned, realizing the challenge unless he reached or surpassed the invincible tier, which would allow him to kill a first-tier Eternal Child in a few moves.

Far away, four Immortal first-tier Eternal Children, having successfully escaped, stopped.

“Cursed Human Prince, causing such losses to our Immortal Race, this cannot stand,” they lamented, acknowledging their inferior strength to the Human Prince.

“We await Prince Tian Zhen,” they concluded, hoping that with a slight advantage from the fortunes obtained, Tian Zhen could reach the invincible tier and possibly defeat Ye Tian.

Ye Tian, having left the ancient monastery which held nothing of value except for the Six Paths Reincarnation Pagoda, continued his quest for new opportunities, flying towards an unspecified direction in the ruin world.

Prince Crescent Moon, dragging his heavily wounded body, was fleeing with two princes of the Ghost Race in pursuit.

The strength of the two Ghost Race princes was not particularly formidable, merely first-tier Ordinary Children of the Universe, while Crescent Moon himself was a second-tier Ordinary Child of the Universe.

A second-tier Ordinary Child of the Universe stood little chance against two first-tier ones. If not for a one-time use escape artifact he relied on, Crescent Moon would have likely been killed instantly.

“I must not be caught; if they catch up, I am doomed!” Prince Crescent Moon thought.

He continued to flee, activating a secret technique to boost his speed, disregarding his injuries entirely.

Suddenly, a range of five mountains appeared before him, towering like colossal pillars.

Without a second thought, Crescent Moon attempted to cross the mountains, but the Ghost Race princes caught up to him.

A spear, moving with incredible speed, was thrust at him! Crescent Moon tried to block the spear and activated a protective armor, but the armor cracked, and he was sent flying.

He crashed against one of the towering pillars of the five mountains, causing the entire range to tremble.

“Ha ha ha, human, you are doomed! There’s no support from Human Princes nearby. Killing a prince of the major cpsmic Human Race, ah, the very thought excites me!” said one of the Ghost Race princes.

“We must kill him quickly, lest we attract the attention of peak Human Princes or those of other races, which would spell trouble for us!” urged the other Ghost Race prince.

As the Ghost Race princes were about to finish Crescent Moon, an unexpected change occurred.

The entire mountain range shook, and the ground began to crack. 𝖋𝔯𝖊𝖊𝖜𝔢𝖇𝔫𝖔𝔳𝔢𝖑.𝖈𝔬𝖒

In moments, the five mountains transformed into five giant fingers, with rocks peeling off to reveal their true form.

Simultaneously, strands of chaotic energy emerged, enveloping the area.

“What’s going on?” Crescent Moon grew anxious.

The Ghost Race princes, too, hesitated to attack, retreating swiftly to avoid the unforeseen change.

As time passed, the chaotic energy spread, and Crescent Moon was no longer detectable.

Initially hesitant to enter the area due to potential dangers, the Ghost Race princes eventually couldn’t resist.

They entered the five-mountain area, protected by various defenses.

Upon reaching the site, they saw the five fingers, realizing that they belonged to an unimaginably powerful being.

“Whose fingers are these, so large they rival stars?”

They speculated that the owner might be a powerful being from the previous universe, whose body hadn’t decayed over countless ages.

They surmised that the body of this powerful being lay underground, with only the five fingers visible.

The pervasive chaotic energy was emanating from this corpse, indicating the being was of chaotic nature.

“Where’s the Human Prince?” They scanned the area but found no trace of Crescent Moon.

“There’s a cave leading underground; he must have gone down there! After him!” The Ghost Race princes pursued Crescent Moon into the depths.

Unbeknownst to them, the chaotic area continued to expand, attracting many princes to the site.

One day, Ye Tian sensed the dense chaotic energy and headed towards the five mountains.

Upon arrival, he felt the chaotic energy mixed with the essence of chaos and a faint oppressive force.

Without hesitation, Ye Tian entered the area and saw several princes fighting under the giant fingers, tearing the ground open to reveal an unknown creature’s arm and a massive skull, its mouth swallowing all light like a mini black hole.

“A corpse of a Supreme!” Ye Tian was astonished.
