Zombie Apocalypse: I Have Safe Zone Superpower-Chapter 607: Awakening More Power
She felt him throb against her tongue.
She heard his sharp, ragged inhale. She used her hands, one cupping the base of him, the other tracing patterns on his stomach.
She sucked, she licked the tip, she took him as deep as she could, wanting him to feel the release he had denied himself.
His hands came to her head, not guiding, just resting there, trembling with the intensity of his feeling. "Ivy... god..." he groaned.
She felt his satisfaction building. She worked harder, her mouth moving with increasing urgency, wanting to bring him over that edge.
Finally, Silas climaxed, and Ivy swallowed the cum with satisfaction.
As they both fell on the bed, Silas hugged Ivy. "Thank you. And sorry, my love."
"No... we made progress even though it was little... it was still there." Ivy smiled. "Next time, let’s push a little more."
"Hm," Silas agreed. "So now it’s my turn, right?"
"Eh? What do you mean... Silas, no! Oh god! Don’t use your tongue... I will come..."
.....................................
The next morning unfolded quietly.
Ivy stirred awake, her lashes fluttering as the faint warmth beside her drew her attention.
Turning her head slightly, she found Silas sleeping peacefully at her side, his breathing slow and steady, the rise and fall of his chest almost hypnotic.
For a moment, she simply watched him.
Her fingers moved on their own, almost as if guided by an invisible thread, reaching out to gently trace the sharp line of his jaw.
His skin felt warm beneath her touch, smooth yet firm, and the closeness made her heart beat just a little faster.
’He really looks unreal... like some kind of Greek god,’ she thought, her lips curling into a soft smile.
A strange, almost possessive urge flickered through her chest. ’I want to hide him... keep him away from everyone...’
Just as that thought crossed her mind, Silas’ eyelashes trembled. Slowly, his eyes opened, still hazy with sleep, only to meet Ivy’s admiring gaze fixed entirely on him.
A faint smile tugged at his lips.
Without saying anything, he reached out and pulled her into a deep embrace, his arms wrapping around her as if he had been waiting for this moment.
Ivy didn’t resist. Instead, she melted into him, her cheek resting against his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.
"It’s been a long time since I held you like this..." Silas murmured softly, his voice still thick with sleep.
"It has..." Ivy replied quietly, her fingers clutching the fabric of his shirt a little tighter.
And it truly had.
She had missed everything about him: the way he cooked, the quiet comfort of his presence, and the warmth of his body beside hers at night. It wasn’t until he was gone that she realized just how much of her life revolved around him.
’Every little moment... it was all him,’ she thought, tightening her embrace unconsciously.
They stayed like that for a while, lost in the silence, letting time drift lazily around them.
Eventually, they pulled apart and got up.
Silas glanced at her, a hint of seriousness settling into his expression.
"After you freshen up... I’ll teach you how to awaken your powers."
Ivy nodded without hesitation. "Alright."
The bathroom filled with the soft sound of running water soon after. As she stood under the stream, the cool droplets sliding down her skin, her mind wandered unexpectedly.
Vegetables.
The thought came out of nowhere.
She frowned slightly. Even though she hadn’t learned much about them, she had this persistent feeling that they were important... important enough that she should understand them deeply.
’Why does this even matter...?’ she wondered.
And yet, another thought followed.
’Not just vegetables... even strange foods... recipes... I should learn them all.’
She didn’t understand where these thoughts were coming from, but she didn’t resist them either. Instead, she let them flow through her mind like a quiet current she chose not to fight.
By the time she stepped out, drying her hair lightly, a faint aroma drifted through the air.
Warm. Savory. Comforting. Her steps quickened instinctively.
When she reached the dining area, she saw Silas already placing dishes on the table, steam rising gently from freshly prepared food.
Ivy couldn’t help but smile, her eyes softening.
"You’re seriously unbelievable... You already made all this by the time I got out?"
Silas chuckled, a low, amused sound.
"Hungry people shouldn’t be kept waiting."
Ivy tilted her head, narrowing her eyes slightly in playful suspicion.
"Wait... did you even take a bath? We went at the same time. How did you come out earlier and cook all this?"
Silas only smirked faintly.
"That’s a secret... I’ll leave it for you to figure out."
Ivy laughed, shaking her head as she sat down.
As she took her first bite, a familiar taste spread across her tongue.
"It’s been so long since I’ve eaten your cooking..." she murmured, almost to herself, a quiet happiness lingering in her voice.
Silas watched her for a moment, but his expression slowly turned serious, almost grim.
"After you finish eating... I’ll explain everything."
Ivy paused slightly, noticing the shift in his tone. A faint uneasiness crept into her chest, but she didn’t question him. Instead, she silently continued eating.
Once she finished, she wiped her hands and looked up at him.
"Now... can you tell me about the awakening process?"
Silas nodded, no longer delaying.
"To awaken your power, the first step is gaining complete control over your five senses."
Ivy’s eyes narrowed slightly. ’I’ve heard that before...’
She looked at him steadily. "I already have control over my five senses."
Silas froze for a moment, clearly caught off guard.
Ivy continued calmly, "When I was trying to control my power... I learned that controlling the senses is the first step."
Silas leaned forward slightly. "Then... what’s the second step?"
"Controlling the internal energy within the body," Ivy replied without hesitation. "And that energy... It’s influenced by emotions."
She paused briefly, then continued,
"If someone is filled with resentment, the energy can turn into something like cursed energy... but if the person is calm and peaceful, it can become healing energy."
