This was the Sassanid Empire, and he was Yazdegerd III, the last Sassanid Emperor. He was meant to guide the Empire out of these dark times and he was meant to revive the fallen giant.

But it was not to be. After continuous defeats of the Sassanids, the Empire eventually succumbed to the pressure, both external and internal.

But what if?

There will be romance - at least I hope so. I am not sure how I'll develop the relationship between the main couple, but I plan to have a bit of romance there.

This story isn't Self-Insert.

There will be many characters, some more important than others.

Although this is a fiction, most of the characters and events occuring are real and this book works with historical events.

And last but not least, you may find this book offensive. After all, it rewrites history completely. And if you do, just don't read it.

Samuel Foster would be turning 18 in two weeks. He grew up in a fairly normal low case family home with his parents and two younger siblings. The thing out of the ordinary was he knew for as long as he could remember he would be getting married at 18 to a girl he never had met before due to a promise his family had made.

Lena Scarlet, Princess Scarlet was feared by many, respected and loved by everyone near her. Deadly as she was calm, her one annoyance in life was the arranged married he father decided upon before she was born. Being fiercely independent and trained to protect herself, she never felt the need for a relationship or marriage as she fully capable of taking care of all her needs.

However, a promise was a promise and whether either of them liked it or not, their parents were at least going to force them to live together before calling the wedding off.

Please give the book a chance. I’m not the greatest of synopsis writers, as I am sure some of you can tell and the book may be slow at first due to the setup and lead in. But I promise it will getting more interesting as it goes along.

“You should just be fortunate that I am not my father. Do you know what he did when faced with a similar situation?” with no reply, she continued

“He killed almost all of them. You could say it was a massacre. Me, I won’t got that far, but if anything happens to him, I will personally kill the person who touches him.”

When I opened my eyes, I found myself trapped in the very novel I despise most, and to make matters worse, I became Samuel Gebb, the tragic main character. Samuel's wife constantly brings other men into their home, and he’s forced to endure her mowns with other mens.But here's the twist: I’m not Samuel. I’m the Heavenly Demon, a being feared by the world for my martial prowess.In my first life, I was just an ordinary student who read this novel and became deeply depressed for months. In my second life, I took on the role of the Heavenly Demon and conquered the world. Now, if Abigail, the female lead, thinks she can control me like she did with Samuel, she’s gravely mistaken. I’m going to ensure she pays for what she did to Samuel.In the novel, Abigail claims she never slept with any men, but I don’t believe her, even if she’s telling the truth.
