Rex Vector, an apparently mystic energy-deficient sword genius who lost everything to the war turned out to be the last inheritor of an Ancient Bloodline.

On fully awakening his bloodline he was granted a system and his whole life changed for the better.

Life held much more in store for him though as the contents of his first system mission revealed a reality to him that he wasn’t sure he wanted to accept.

When the sword awakens, its slept so long that it has forgotten everything but hunger. It is a weapon made to feast on death and blood, and the more bodies that it leaves in its wake, the stronger it gets. Bloodstained Blade is a fantasy gamelit, where the main character is the blade, and not the person wielding it. So, expect the wielder of the blade to die occasionally and be replaced with another man or monster as the Ebon Blade pursues its own goals no matter the cost. Normally... such a revelation wouldn’t faze Alden. However, there was only one major problem with the declaration, though. Celeste was bound with an Asteron. And not just any normal Asteron... She had made a pact with one of the Divine Sovereigns.
