Sunless faintly smiled and shook his head. "It’s not your fault."

He understood that Sonia couldn’t control the power of luck just yet, so she hadn’t expected it to cause such destruction.

He tried to offer the little comfort he could, but he still noticed the wariness hidden in Sonia’s eyes.

It took a few minutes before she finally calmed down before stating,

"I gained 5 luck attributes. Now I can assign them to the corresponding stats. Which should I assign them to?" she asked Sunless, waiting for his opinion.

Sunless pondered for a bit before stating, "Increase your strength and stamina first of all. Those are the most important. We’ll figure out how to absorb luck safely, then you can assign it to the other stats."

"Okay," Sonia said with a smile.

Then, following Sunless’ words, she assigned her stats according to his decision.

Suddenly, she felt her muscles tightening and strengthening. Inwardly, she could feel her body brimming with strength, and the tiredness and fatigue from her and Sunless’ intercourse had been washed away.

"Okay," Sonia nodded and stood up to take a shower.

Sunless pondered briefly, then said lightly, "We should contact the gang leader from before, Jennifer. It’s about time we head to the Spirit Continent."

"Already?" Sonia asked in surprise.

Sunless nodded. "We’ll have to visit Jane first."

"Okay," Sonia readily agreed.

A few minutes later, Sunless had already picked Jane up from the estate, and they were heading toward the location of the prominent gang. It wasn’t difficult finding Jennifer’s location, as she was the leader of one of the three major gangs here.

Within a few minutes, they had arrived at an abandoned construction site.

It was a mountain, with sparse buildings around.

Gathered in clusters were groups of gang members casually discussing.

The moment they noticed the speeding vehicle, three men separated from a group and approached them.

The vehicle slowed to a stop in front of them, and Sunless wound down the window.

"What can we help you with?" one of the men with deep brown beards asked, scrutinizing the trio as though he wanted to see through them.

"We’re here to meet your leader."

"The gang leader? Do you have an appointment with her? She doesn’t meet random strangers."

"Tell her Sunless is here."

The man stared at Sunless for a few seconds before finally nodding. He signaled to a few others to surround Sunless’ vehicle.

Noticing that they were just ordinary humans, Sunless didn’t panic, but Sonia, who was sitting beside him, couldn’t help slightly clutching his robes.

The guard distanced himself from the vehicle briefly to make the call.

He returned a few minutes later with a respectful expression on his face.

Staring at Sunless, his eyes were filled with respect and terror.

He straightened his back and signaled for the men he had called previously to distance themselves from the vehicle.

"Please wait a moment. The gang leader said she’ll be with you shortly."

"Okay." Sunless replied calmly and smoothly tapped the steering wheel while glancing around.

A few of the gang members were giving signs to the man with deep brown beards, wondering why he was so respectful all of a sudden, but seeing that the man didn’t respond, they could only keep their thoughts to themselves.

Within five minutes, the sound of a rev coming from afar echoed, and then a speeding vehicle appeared at the distant horizon. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

The vehicle let out another rev, its speed seeming to increase as it raced rapidly toward Sunless’ vehicle.

Sunless’ eyes widened as he thought the car would collide with his, when it let out a screeching sound and drifted mid-stride before coming to a stop, barely a few inches from Sunless’ vehicle.

The door of the car swung open, and Jennifer stepped out, her hair dangling loosely around her shoulders. With a lollipop in her mouth and dressed in tight-fitting training gear that accentuated all her curves, she glanced at Sunless.
