Logan thought he was compromising with her here and that was rational.

Yet, Rose had different opinion. She closed her eyes and sighed deeply. She knew Logan was being stubborn, his ego was hurt because of how dominant she could be.

But then she had another plan, one more plan, and she knew he wouldn’t be able to deny her right now, thus she spoke very softly.

"I am pregnant." Rose lifted her head. She could see the shock in his eyes. "I am pregnant," she repeated the word again, so it would be more real for Logan. "What are you going to do now? The lycan can be a threat for our child. Do you really think someone like him will care enough whether he killed a child or not? He is unhinged, Logan. If you cannot do it for me, then do it for our baby."

Rose changed her plan.

Even if she had a chance to kill Zuri, one wrong move, she would be the one who would be killed, more so it would take time, a long fucking time, for Rose to replace Zuri in his heart.

That was too much effort. She didn’t doubt her ability, but that was too much of an effort? Therefore, Logan was her safe choice.

If she was with Logan, she would be the one who was in control. She had tasted the power of being the queen and controlled everything. In that case, she craved for power more.

"You are pregnant," Logan said the word and it felt so weird in his mouth but somehow his heart was beating so fast. The thought of Rose was being with his child warmed his heart so much.
