"Ahhh! You guys, look, look! That moment when Senior Quinn saved that girl was just incredible, right?" a girl exclaimed, showing her friend the photos she’d taken on her phone.

"I know, right? I wish I was the one Senior Quinn saved. I’d give anything to be held in my idol’s arms," another girl said, also looking at the photos she’d taken, a dreamy look on her face as she imagined herself lying in her idol’s embrace.

"Oh, please. Keep dreaming. It’s not your fault you aren’t as ’lucky’ as she is. I mean, look at how perfectly she fell, right in front of Senior Quinn," another girl said, her tone sour and dripping with sarcasm.

Chloe Grant couldn’t help but frown. Nearly everyone who walked past her was gossiping about the same thing. She hadn’t seen it happen, but she’d pieced together the gist of it. ’Miles Quinn saved a girl?’

At this thought, Chloe Grant’s expression darkened, and she quickened her pace, walking straight ahead until...

"...Look, look! From this angle, don’t they look so sweet together? I think Senior Quinn and Clara Grant actually make a great couple..."
