Chapter 351: Luxurious Sheds - 1

The group walked towards a secluded area of the academy’s open grounds. Since it was late at night, many places were empty. Katherine removed the opaque barrier, and the elves were welcomed by the clear night sky and a cold breeze brushing against their faces.

"Brok," Leo called, and Brok summoned his two eagles. He kept the smaller one for Leo and the group, and used the bigger one to give a ride to all 20 elves.

Just before the flight, Leo stepped forward and stood in front of the elves.

"You are not allowed to jump off the eagle’s back when we take the skies. Hold on tightly until we reach the destination." After saying that, he turned and walked back towards Katherine to bid her farewell.

But for the elves, this was the first time Leo had given an order. And they could feel it—they were simply incapable of defying it. Even if they tried stepping away now—when the eagle was still on the ground—they were incapable.

Naelith gritted her teeth and forcefully tried, but—

"Ahhhhh—!" She screamed and clutched her head as her nose started to bleed.

Katherine turned and walked towards her.

"You’d better remove any thoughts of defying orders from your head, because as you saw, the collar will make your head burst." Then she leaned in slightly.

"As for any actions like killing? Better not, because you will be subjected to such an intense pain that you yourself will wish for death, and you won’t get it." After saying that, Katherine walked away into the distance towards her quarters.

But Naelith was stubborn as ever; she tried once again, this time directly attempting to use her fire magic on Leo. As she extended her arms—

Slap!

Sylrael, sitting beside her, slapped her hand down.

"Do you want to get killed?!" Sylrael said, her voice filled with panic.

"Don’t you feel it yourself? That you will be killed, and you still want to leave us alone?" she said, her eyes almost tearful. She had restrained herself for a long time. But now that she realized how helpless their situation was, she finally cracked.

She wanted to scold more, but Aeila hugged her from the side. Naelith also calmed down. This was the first time in a while that she had seen Sylrael like this.

The first time was when Sylrael received her first dream in the secret realm. That day she had cried the whole day and remained sullen for the following days, fully knowing that such a day—when they would be captured—would definitely arrive, because they happened to be inside human territory.

Though she did break down a few more times when she saw more gruesome scenes, she never did that in front of others. But today she cried in the center of all the other elves who hugged her.

Leo, seeing the scene, scratched his cheeks.

"Lily... can’t you explain we aren’t going to sacrifice them or something? They just need to protect our territory, you know," he said, not sure why they were behaving like that.

"I tried... but it’s almost as if they take my words like grains of sand, and that their future is guaranteed to be doom," she said. Even she was confused.

Kaelion, who was seated next to Leo, patted his shoulder.

"9th floor of the library. That’s where you will understand things. Now don’t fret about it, just know—they won’t be comfortable unless you show it through your actions."

"You don’t know?" Leo asked.

Kaelion shook his head.

"I left my family when I was only capable of entering the 4th floor," he answered, as if sensing the confusion.

"I had the same questions as you, so when I asked, I got the same answers that I gave you," Kaelion said with a shrug.

Leo had a few more question as to why he had access to Aurelius Beast Academy Library before admission, but he decided to ask it later.

They finally took off into the skies, and Leo turned towards Lily.

"I am 100% sure they won’t be at ease with me commanding them. So from now on, you will be in charge of the elves."

Lily nodded.

"That’s what I was about to say. That woman, who seems to be the dream bearer and the leader, is the path to making the others comfortable. And the fact that she can see dreams of the outside world and the dark side, it’s obvious she won’t believe a man. Leave it to me. As I said, I will perfect my management skills," she said confidently, and for some reason, Miho also seemed quite determined.

Both men looked at each other and nodded. It was as if a huge burden had been lifted off their shoulders, and an unspoken agreement passed between them.

Let the ladies do the annoying work; we can focus on getting stronger.

As they climbed down to their territory, Leo stopped the elves.

"Wait. Among you, whoever is a 1-star individual, come forward."

The elves clenched their fists as the environment instantly turned tense.

They were already getting separated, and who knew what would happen to them. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎

The six of them stepped forward, their steps hesitant as their bodies shook in fear.

Leo turned and nodded to Lily, and she stepped forward.

"Give me your hand," Lily said, but there was no response.

Leo narrowed his eyes and then spoke.

"From now on, you all will follow Lily’s orders as if they are mine. Now do as she says."

The elf extended her arm, and suddenly she found a bracelet strapped over her wrist, the intricate patterns making it look like a piece of silver jewellery. Then Lily took her hand and raised it up.

"This bracelet is very important. No one will ever remove it after wearing it. You understand?"

Lily repeated,

"You understand!"

"Yes!!" they all responded.

After that, Lily proceeded to give a folded piece of clothing and basic accessories. Then she moved to the next person. Just like that, after the six were given their items and told to step aside, Lily did the same with the other fourteen. Except that Naelith had red-colored items.

There were some differences for Sylrael too, signifying that even if she looked similar to the others, her status was different.

The elves were speechless throughout. But Sylrael finally gathered her courage and asked,
