Chapter 209: 115 Capture the Commander!_2
“””,
This was a normal business activity.
Slightly unusual was the timing of the transport ship’s arrival.
Yang Ming piloted the stealth airship, following it quietly, maintaining the same speed. He smoothly slipped into the side cabin of the transport ship, which had opened on its own, entering the interior.
“Don’t be surprised,” Yang Ming said in a low voice, “This is our own ship, belonging to the transport company under the Molly Miss Group.”
Darvich nodded repeatedly at the side, “I thought it was the goddess’s doing, invading the control system of this ship.”
“It is indeed her controlling it, but it’s not illegal infiltration,” Yang Ming smiled slightly, “Come on, we’ve arranged everything for you.”
“Boss! The outer cabin just closed! We haven’t started pressurizing and oxygenating yet…”
Darvich paused, staring in disbelief at Yang Ming, who leaped into the outer cabin and slid forward.
Yang Ming wasn’t wearing a space suit.
What?
This defied biology…
This was Father.
Darvich’s eyes lit up. He deftly unbuckled the safety belt, opened the wing door, and ‘flew’ out. A faint arc of light appeared at his fingertips, as he floated steadily behind Yang Ming.
To save costs, this transport ship hadn’t set up a simulated gravity field in all areas.
The next few parts went very smoothly.
Yang Ming tugged Darvich as they infiltrated their own transport ship’s cargo hold, hiding under the cover of several tracked robots and squeezed into a modified container.
The transport ship passed through the security system, which had been disrupted by Lyu, and docked in the inner pits.
The container was hoisted up, placed onto the back of a trailer, and boldly drove into the protective shield of the Space Port, delivered to the civilian warehouse under Molly Miss Group’s name.
Inside the container was an ‘electric chair’ with a helmet resting on it.
Yang Ming and Darvich sat on small stools in the corner, waiting for the container to stop shaking, the trailer to leave by itself, and for silence to fall outside.
Yang Ming glanced at the time and whispered, “Lyu, bring General Leon out.”
“Got it, boss, email sent.”
Yang Ming continued, “Based on the response, activate the corresponding contingency plans at any time. How’s the preparation for those hovercars creating chaos?”
“All ready.”
Lyu answered and then fell silent.
Darvich, beside him, hesitated several times before finally asking out of curiosity,
“Father, boss, how can just one email lure the opponent out?”
“This is rather complicated,” Yang Ming smiled warmly, “You should already know the current state of the Imperial Military.”
Darvich replied immediately, “Yes, they are corrupt, decadent, eroded by foreign forces, becoming parasites to the state and mountains of oppression over the people.”
“That’s a textbook answer.”
Yang Ming explained with a smile,
“General Leon was promoted by former Defense Minister Ilouis; Ilouis previously defected to the New Federation, and recently had a car accident.
“That was an assassination orchestrated by the Wind royal family.”
Darvich nodded repeatedly.
Although his database contained this information, he couldn’t yet effectively link the key points.
“Boss, did we send the email in Ilouis’s name?”
“No, it was sent in the name of Ilouis’s family member,” Yang Ming said with a laugh, “We’re going to exploit General Leon’s greed, the email content is simple, just a proposal to meet General Leon to discuss avenging Ilouis. They could offer substantial compensation.”
“Would General Leon be fooled so easily?”
“Of course he wouldn’t,” Yang Ming squinted with a smile, “but this is his turf. The meeting point we’ve chosen is a commercial building near the military restricted zone of the Space Port. He will likely let his guard down.”
Several screenshots popped up on Yang Ming’s watch.
Dozens of military hovercars departed from the barracks, surrounding that building closely.
“Look, Leon is clearing the area.”
Yang Ming chuckled, “Ilouis left a vast amount of illicit wealth. Leon knows this, and he wouldn’t miss the opportunity to contact Ilouis’s relatives.”
Darvich was still a bit puzzled, “Then how do we capture Leon? Luring him to the building is the limit of this plan.”
“You don’t need to worry about this.”
Yang Ming stood up calmly, pulled out two laser guns from the container’s corner, along with a bulging tactical backpack, and fastened the visor of his tactical helmet.
“The rest of the plan, I’ll handle personally.”
“Oh, that,” Darvich looked surprised, “You mean, you’ll personally go capture Leon?”
“Otherwise?” Yang Ming responded irritably, “Should I send you to do it?”
“But, I mean… aren’t they too many? And they’re so close to the barracks, with armored vehicles!”
Darvich shouted tremblingly,
“Your safety is extremely important, you can’t risk it so lightly!”
“Relax, buddy.”

Yang Ming laughed,
“Compared to past situations, today’s operation is already considered low-risk.
“Plus, we’ve prepared two backup plans. If Leon doesn’t come out, the drones we previously dispatched will temporarily paralyze the operations system of that integrated supply ship, forcing him to land at the Space Port.
“Alternatively, another fleet under my control will directly encircle here, catching him off guard, creating a chaotic situation, and then I’ll break into that supply ship.
“All these are not as simple as the current plan.”
Rough engine sounds came from outside the container.
Lyu’s voice rang in the earpiece:
“Boss, the target has left the supply ship, heading towards the commercial building with a group of confidants.”
“See, Leon moved, which saves us a lot of trouble.”
