Nina thought Teah might have misunderstood and assumed that room belonged to one of the males.

"Don’t worry," Nina explained gently. "That’s just the bathing room. No one lives there—it’s not Mino’s or Yanai’s room."

Regardless of what the woman thought, Nine felt rather uncomfortable letting her inside her private room.

Teah felt a flicker of guilt but forced a steady smile. "I just heard from Leah that your room is beautifully arranged. I wanted to take a look and learn from it."

Nina hesitated. The babies were inside, and she didn’t feel at ease leaving them alone. "Why don’t you change in the bathing room first? If you’d like to look around, I can show you after dinner."

"Alright," Teah agreed and went to change.

When she returned, everyone resumed eating and chatting happily. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

After the meal, Teah reminded her once more, "Nina, may I see your room now?"

That request again––why was she so eager? For someone who had just met her, Teah was annoyingly rude already.

"Give me a moment," Nina said. "It’s a bit messy—I’ll tidy up quickly."

Teah nodded.

Inside, Nina reassured the egg babies softly, then came back out and lifted the curtain. "You can come in."

Teah stepped inside. The room was neat and thoughtfully arranged, furnished with simple pieces and small decorative items. Some were made of wood—far more refined and elegant than the rough stone furniture common in other homes.

She looked around with fascination. "Nina, are these made of wood?" she asked, pointing at the simple dressing table and open wardrobe.

"Yes. You just fit planks together," Nina replied. "I’ve shown Leah’s mates how to make them. You can ask them for instructions, too."

Teah nodded thoughtfully, already imagining asking Tali to build something similar for her. He would most likely refuse, but it was worth a shot.

She examined several little trinkets, asking questions out of genuine curiosity. Nina answered patiently.

Somewhere along the way, Teah truly became just a visitor admiring the space, momentarily forgetting the instructions Tali had given her. There was just too much to take in.

When she finished looking around, she smiled, satisfied. "Thank you, Nina. I’ve troubled you enough. It’s getting late—we won’t disturb you any longer."

"Be careful on your way back," Nina said warmly.

After Teah and the others left, Mino and Yanai washed dishes and cleaned the yard.

When they finished, Yanai covered his swollen face and turned to Mino. "Help me remove the bee stingers from my face. The black-tailed bees’ venom is strange—my healing ability can’t push them out."

He could tolerate the pain elsewhere, but he had no intention of facing Nina looking like this.

"Just use water as a mirror and pull them out yourself," Mino replied irritably.

"I can’t see clearly in water. Help me—I’ll help you too."

"I don’t need your help."

Instead, Mino strode over to Nina and crouched in front of her, tilting his head up slightly. "Nina, could you help me remove the stingers? It’s very difficult to do it myself."

Yanai blinked. Damn. Why didn’t I think of that? I’m still too innocent.

Nina suppressed a laugh at his swollen "pig face" and nodded. "Alright. Let’s get you out into the light."

Considering they had braved the bees for her, she decided to help. "Lift your chin a bit more."

She took a clean needle and carefully began removing the stingers from Mino’s face.

Yanai waited gloomily at the side.

As Nina worked, her fingers brushed his smooth skin. Without thinking, she gave his cheek a light squeeze. Not bad texture.

Mino obediently let her touch and knead his face, secretly enjoying it.

After checking carefully, Nina nodded. "All done."

Mino felt oddly reluctant for it to end. He liked the warmth of her hands against his skin.

Yanai immediately shoved him aside. "You’re done—move. My turn."

He tilted his face up pitifully. "Little female, help me too. My face hurts."

Nina blinked in surprise. Was this really Yanai?

Still, those puppy-like eyes paired with that innocent expression were unexpectedly persuasive.

Though she didn’t exactly feel sorry for him, he had helped her, so she nodded. "Alright. Lift your chin."

The moment her fingers touched his face, she inwardly marveled. His skin was even softer than Mino’s—like tender tofu.

Yanai’s ears reddened faintly.

Mino clicked his tongue. "This wolf is at it again. He’s always been good at playing pitiful."

Soon, Nina finished removing the stingers from Yanai’s face.

But he didn’t get up. "There are more... other places," he said quietly.

"Where?" Nina asked.

"Here. And here." He pointed to his chest and abdomen, then turned around. "And my back."

Nina frowned. "Weren’t you wearing clothes? How did they sting you there?"

Yanai pulled off his shirt and leaned closer. "Black-tailed bee stingers are long."

She looked closely. He wasn’t wrong.

When he turned around, flexing slightly to show his back, she couldn’t help noticing the broad, well-defined lines of muscle.

She cleared her throat. "Fine. I’ll help."

As her fingers touched his back, Yanai shivered but quickly steadied himself.

Mino ground his teeth. Cunning wolf. Should’ve handled this myself first.

Sal, watching from nearby, narrowed his eyes sharply. Didn’t he say he wasn’t interested in females? Hypocrite.

When Nina reached his lower back, she realized bending over was tiring.

"Why don’t you lie down on the table?" she suggested.

Yanai obediently lay down, facing up. "The back’s almost done. Might as well do the front."

Nina stepped closer, focusing carefully. There was only slight redness on his chest.

She tried not to think too much and concentrated on removing the stingers.
