Aísē: My Five Supernatural Wives-Chapter 94: Can he Defeat Mephispheles?
The room fell silent, the echoes of destruction fading into an eerie stillness. Aisha stood frozen, her eyes fixed on the spot where Valerian had vanished, a look of utter devastation etched onto her face.
Suddenly, a chilling female voice sliced through the silence, causing Aisha to spin around with a gasp.
"Ah, how sad," the voice mocked,"to see your lover lost in the darkness and you couldn’t do anything.
"Heavy footsteps echoed through the ruined chamber, accompanied by the clicking of heels against shattered marble.
A woman emerged from the shadows, her long bluish-white hair cascading down her back like a waterfall.
Her eyes were completely black, devoid of pupils or whites—a terrifying sight that sent a shiver down Aisha’s spine.
"I suppose you may already know who I am," the woman said with a cruel smile, her voice dripping with malice. "Saintess, dear~".
Aisha’s voice trembled as she muttered the name, her eyes widening in shock and disbelief. "Djin?"She stumbled back a step, her hand instinctively reaching for the holy spear placed near the bed.
"Impossible," Aisha breathed,"you shouldn’t be here no one should be..." The Djin threw her head back and laughed, the sound echoing through the ruined room like shattering glass.
"Oh, my dear saintess," she purred,"I am very real indeed. And I’ve been waiting for an opportunity like this for centuries."
Her black eyes flicked to the darkness that had consumed Valerian, a wicked grin spreading across her face.
"Your lover has the intrest of my contractor so I am here to fulfill her wish Hahahaha!."
The Djin’s laughter filled the air, a cruel and mocking sound that grated against Aisha’s ears.
"After this, I can finally be free from living in that damn shithole," she cackled, turning her back on Aisha dismissively.
Aisha was about to chase after the Demon but she froze as she couldn’t feel her legs anymore "No! Not now!" Aisha realized with horror that her legs were already beginning to turn black—the telltale sign of corruption spreading through her body.
She cursed under her breath, her saintly white eyes darkening as they gazed upon the demon with intense hatred.
Aisha’s voice rang out, filled with a desperate, furious intensity. "Give my husband back!" she shouted, her words echoing through the ruined chamber.
The corruption spread rapidly, climbing up her thighs and across her stomach as she struggled to maintain her footing.
Her once-white hair began to darken at the roots, tendrils of black snaking through the blonde strands.
"You can’t have him!" she screamed,"he’s mine! Do you hear me? MINE!" The Djin paused, glancing back over her shoulder with a sneer.
"Your husband?" she mocked, "Oh, my dear saintess, he never belonged to you. He was always meant for greater things... things that don’t include a corrupted little toy like you."
She turned fully around, her black eyes glittering with malice.
"But don’t worry," she purred,"I’ll make sure he remembers you fondly before the end."
As the Djin vanished into the shadows, Aisha was left alone in the devastated room, her body rapidly succumbing to the spreading corruption.
Her mind was a whirlwind of rage and insanity, but through it all, one thought burned clearly: she had to fight back. She had to save Valerian.
She collapsed onto her hands and knees, her movements growing increasingly uncoordinated as dark veins spread across her skin like poisoned rivers.
With grim determination, she began crawling toward the bed where her clothes lay scattered—the same clothes that held several precious vials of holy water.
Aisha’s vision swam as black spots danced before her eyes. Her fingers clawed at the fabric, desperation fueling every movement.
"Just... a little farther..." she gasped through gritted teeth,"I can still save him... I can still..." Her hand finally closed around a cold glass vial hidden in the folds of cloth.
Just as Aisha’s fingers closed around the holy water vial, her vision began to swim and darken. Her body trembled violently as she fought to maintain consciousness, but the corruption was too advanced.
The room spun around her as darkness claimed her for a moment—only to be interrupted by the sudden, violent slamming of the door.
It burst open with such force that it bounced against the wall. Mariabell stumbled into view first, her face pale and panic-stricken.
Behind her, Victor quickly followed—but unlike his Fiancee, he immediately covered his eyes upon seeing the visage of Aisha’s naked, corrupted form.
"Oh my god!" Mariabell gasped,"What happened? Where’s Valerian?" Victor kept his gaze averted while frantically waving his free hand.
Mariabell’s hands flew to cover her mouth in horror as she took in the full extent of Aisha’s condition."oh no..." Mariabell breathed,
"What happened? Where did you get that?"Victor finally lowered his hand from his eyes, his face contorted with shock and concern.
"Aisha! Can you hear me? What did this to you?" Mariabell knelt beside Aisha’s trembling form,
"Your skin... it’s turning black..."
Aisha’s voice emerged as a weak, broken whisper, her lips barely forming the words.
"Please... help me... Pour... pour it over me..." She held out the vial with trembling fingers, her eyes pleading desperately.
Her skin was now almost completely blackened by corruption, and she could feel death creeping closer with each passing second.
"Please..." Aisha gasped again, "before it’s too late... I need to save him... need to fight back..."
Mariabell gently took the vial from Aisha’s shaking grasp.
Mariabell’s hands trembled as she uncorked the vial, the holy water shimmering with an ethereal light in the dim room.
The air itself seemed to crackle with its sacred energy.
"This is going to burn," she warned softly, her voice barely audible above Aisha’s ragged breathing.
With a steady hand, Mariabell tilted the vial and let the holy water cascade over Aisha’s corrupted form.
The moment the sacred liquid touched her skin, Aisha screamed—a sound of both agony and relief as the corruption hissed and recoiled from the divine energy.
Steam rose from her flesh where it made contact, and for a terrifying moment, she went rigid as if frozen in time.
Victor returned with a long piece of fabric, his eyes carefully averted despite the fact that Aisha’s body was now obscured by dense black fog and darkening skin.
He draped it gently over her shoulders, ensuring modesty even in this desperate moment.
"The thing is fighting back," Mariabell said grimly, "but I think... I think it’s working."
Aisha’s breathing grew more labored as she fought against both pain and consciousness.
"Valerian..." she whispered through gritted teeth, "they took him... Djin..."
Mariabell’s eyes widened in shock, her usual bubbly demeanor completely absent.
"What do you mean?" she asked, her voice steady and serious despite the circumstances.
"Aren’t they practically non-existent in the modern age? Especially with the Mages Association forbidding the summoning of demonic spirits?"
She continued pouring the holy water, her movements precise and deliberate.
"The Djin... they’ve been sealed away for centuries. How could one possibly appear here? And how did it know about Valerian?"
Victor knelt beside them, his face grim. "This changes everything," he muttered,"if what I learned about is true then..." his face darkened.
Aisha’s voice emerged as a pained whisper between gasps."Someone..." she managed to say, "summoned it... and used me to get Valerian’s guard down and used that opportunity to attack..."
The room fell silent except for Aisha’s labored breathing and the sizzling sound of corruption burning away under Mariabell’s ministrations.
As the holy water continued to purge the corruption from her system, Aisha’s mind began to clear.
She sat up suddenly, her eyes snapping open with a newfound clarity that sent a jolt through both Mariabell and Victor.
"Wait..." she whispered, her voice growing stronger as the last traces of darkness left her body. Her gaze became distant and focused as pieces of a puzzle clicked into place in her mind.
"Why did I seduce Valerian? It isn’t like me... especially considering the consequences..."
She stood abruptly, and an expression of extreme anger contorted her features.
The spear that had been leaning against the wall flew into her hand as if summoned by an unseen force.Immediately, bright holy flames erupted across her skin, burning away every remaining stain of corruption.
In their wake, pristine new clothes materialized on her form—an elegant white dress adorned with golden accents.
"Faust!" she called out into empty air,"I know what you’ve done.
"Her voice echoed with divine power and righteous fury, "Show yourself now!"
Mariabell’s nervous whisper cut through the tension in the room. "Um... Grandpa isn’t in the house right now."
