Almighty Father System-Chapter 167: Identity Revealed.

Leo stood outside the ward, and Lily was looking around the place. She asked, "Baba, why is this place so quiet?"

The young man shrugged his shoulders and said, "I have no idea."

What else was he supposed to say about this? He found a bench and sat down on the side, and a few minutes later, Snow walked over dressed in white shirt and blue jeans, with a skip in her step.

Leo asked, "What is going on? What made you so happy?"

Snow smiled and said, "Previously, I had decided to buy stock in a cosmetic company, well, they are failing to keep the business afloat and so I am looking forward to buying more of their stock, own it completely."

Lily asked, "Won't that be a loss making deal? The business is crashing, so why buy more?"

Snow smiled and had the girl sit down in her lap before she asked, "What do you know about lose making situations?"

Lily snorted and said, "If the value of the object I hold falls, that is loss. If the value increases then it is a profit."

Snow was surprised and asked, "Who taught you this?"

Lily replied, "The other day, Sister Symphony was working, and I learned this from her. She was studying something called comics."

Leo chuckled and said, "It's called Economics my love."

Lily nodded and said, "Yes, Baba, that one. You know everything."

Snow furrowed her brows and remarked, "Baba's lobster."

Lily hugged Snow and said, "I am Ma's Crocodile. Huuu!!"

Snow replied with a growling expression of her own. The door of the ward slid open and the family went inside. They looked at Fragrance, who looked a little fresher, and the young lady smiled as she said, "Sister Ari is nice, she gave me a sponge bath so that I can feel a little relieved."

Leo nodded and Snow stepped up to check on Fragrance. After the small talk, Snow said, "Frag, I know that you love your freedom, and I respect that, but it is time that you move in with us. See, we cannot just rest easy knowing that you have been through the front lines. If you cannot stay with us, I will be assigning a dozen guards for your protection."

Fragrance was stunned, she shook her head like a rattle and replied, "Sister-in-law, don't do that. How can you divert dozens of people to protect me?"

Snow wanted to reply when Lily asked, "Why can we not find security for you? Are you not family? Do we not care about you?"

Lily didn't realize, but her tone had shivered a little. She was angry, but she didn't know how to show it because of her limited strength and vocabulary. However, her flaring nose was doing it all for her. Fragrance didn't expect that the strongest resistance she would meet would originate from this pint sized kid.

She took a deep breath and said, "Lily, it is not that you all don't care for me, but sending so many guards, is it really okay? I will get even more attention than the normal days."

Lily nodded and said, "That is why you should come to the Cardinal Mansion. In a hidden shelf in the study room, I found a small book, where Grandma had written that she wanted to give you a room inside the house. So, are you telling me that despite knowing her wish you will not respect her wish?"

Fragrance looked at Snow and Leo for help but they had given up when it came to Lily. The little princess was adamant, she wanted her aunty in her house. Leo said, "Fragrance, if you feel that after living in the house, your routine is affected, you can move out, but at least till you completely recover, after your discharge stay with us."

Lily looked at her father and asked, "Why did you give in to her? I would have cried and made her agree, Baba."

This time the three people were shocked and Leo asked, "Who told you to do this?"

Lily flicked her hair and said, "In the princess story, if the princess cries she gets everything."

Leo picked her up and tickled her as he said, "Don't ever blackmail anyone like this, you cruel little goblin."

Lily giggled and laughed in his arms as she relented. Fragrance agreed, "I will move in for a few days to get the feel of it."

The trio smiled and Lily cheered, "Yay!"

Later in the evening, Fragrance decided to sleep as she was tired of telling Lily stories from her childhood, and the family went out for a movie. Leo looked at Snow and said, "Evergreen Hospitals will become the medical partner of the Cardinal Trust."

Snow was shocked and asked, "Where did this come from?"

Leo said, "I just sold a few stocks and some was enough to get me a seat on the board. This will simplify the operations in future. The doctors will no longer have to worry about capital and they would be able to take the best care of the patients. The charitable trust activities can be guided by retired professors and the new students can use these activities to learn directly from the veterans. I am sure those old people must be craving some action too."

Snow nodded and said, "Well, I hope you can handle that because I have my hands full."

Leo nodded and wanted to say something when Lily said, "Can we discuss some important things?"

Snow stifled a chuckle and asked, "Yes, my dear little goblin, what do you want to discuss?"

Lily asked, "What movie are we going to watch?"

Snow replied, "The huntsmen tales."

Lily asked, "What is it about?"

Snow replied, "It is about a man who lived in the forest and hunted animals to live by, but then he became friends with them and learned to survive on fruits and brought harmony to the forest."

Lily rolled her eyes and said, "My fairy tales are better than this. Can we not have that Space ship movie?"

Leo looked outside the window, because this was his conspiracy, he didn't want his daughter to be any softer than she already was. He still recalled how she forbade him from hunting in the mountains.

Snow looked at him and found that her glare was being ignored and she said, "Fine, we will watch the Odyssey. You will get one cola and one bucket of popcorn, small one, deal?"

Lily frowned and Leo said, "Popcorn is bad for the stomach, it is better to take a small bucket."

The little girl nodded and the car arrived at the theatre. They spotted Anastasia, Symphony and Clara standing with Axel and the other five guards. The six of them entered the theatre and they gathered a lot of attention, after all the guards were that intimidating.

Zeenat and Axel were allowed to accompany the family, the rest took charge outside. Many people were gazing at the family with envy, and Leo frowned, for an instant, he wanted to build a private theatre at home, but thinking about how it would isolate Lily even more, he held back the urge.

Snow was gazing at him, she could tell that his protective flare was about to rise, but he suppressed it. However, suddenly the paranoid father said, "Axel, Zee, go out and keep watch with the rest. The people do not wish to see the movie in such a stifling presence, you guys are scrutinizing everyone as if they have come here to attack us only."

The guards realized their mistakes and bowed as they quickly left. Leo's commands were supreme, and they didn't mind this. The movie began and the people settled in.

Inside a big lavishly decorated room, Carole was smoking a cigar as he watched a shadow on the bathroom door with a smile. His phone rang and it broke his happy fantasy time. He picked up the device and asked, "Rao, what the hell is it that you are calling me for after such a long time?"

The person on the other side was called Rao, he said, "Boss, guess who did I just see?"

Carole clicked his tongue in annoyance and said, "Bastard, tell me directly, don't play in riddles."

Rao chuckled and said, "It is your old friend, Leo Cardinal."

Carole was stunned for a second and asked, "What did you say? Leo Cardinal? That bastard is still alive?"

Rao replied, "Yes, he is, and guess who is he here with? Snow Marlin, from what it seems to me, they have a child too."

Carole shivered, he said coldly, "Can you confirm it all?"

Rao replied, "It will take some money and time, but I will get you proper details."

Carole narrowed his gaze and said, "Fine, I will send you a million, give me all that you can find on that dog man and woman. I want them to beg before me, once again, as for that swine they birthed, arrange for her to vanish."

Rao was shocked, in reality he just wanted to earn money, he had no idea that Carole's hatred ran so deep that he would ask him to settle the kid. He replied, "Mister Primal, I will not be dealing with a child. You can handle that yourself. I will charge you half of your offer only for the information. What do you say?"

Carole cussed the man for being a loser, and agreed. The call was disconnected, and the next moment, a calm voice echoed in his ears, "Who were you talking to?"

Carole shivered and knelt on the ground as he acted like a dog and said, "An old friend, My lady."
