Alpha Razor King-Chapter 119: Redemption.
**Razor**
I stepped foot inside the pack house with my men and saw members of my former pack waiting for me outside. The air grew with tension as everyone stood motionless, their eyes fixed on us.
I sighed, bringing out my blade from my pocket. "I told you I was going to return," I began in a low tone, the steel glinting in the dim light. "Well, I’m back. You only have two options: go down on your fucking knees and acknowledge me as your alpha, or you can keep standing and face the consequences."
The pack members exchanged nervous glances, unsure of what to do.
My eyes scanned the crowd. "Make your choice," I commanded firmly, "I don’t have all day."
One by one, the members began to kneel, their loyalty shifting back to me.
I chuckled darkly at the remaining men who refused to kneel. "Have you made your decision?" I asked them, but they didn’t reply, just stared at me nervously. I turned to Dean. "Don’t kill them, I want them alive."
One of the bastards, a blonde man, quickly knelt down, but it only made me laugh. "It’s too fucking late. You already had your chance."
"What are you doing?" one of the betrayers asked the blonde man. "Get up. Remember, we promised to be loyal to Alpha Tom."
"Don’t you see what’s going on?" the blonde one shot back. "The experiment failed. We can’t fucking win."
I resisted the urge to roll my eyes. They were being dramatic. "Take care of this," I ordered Dean before going inside with Alpha Kane and Alpha Louis.
As we walked down the hallway, the sounds of Dean and my men subduing the rebels faded behind us. They fucking had it coming.
"What’s our next move?" Alpha Louis asked.
"We need to secure the control room and see what’s going on," I said. "And then, we need to find Chris and Tara."
We arrived at the control room and went straight to the monitors, scanning the screens.
"Where the fuck is Tom?" Kane muttered, his eyes darting across the displays.
"I don’t know," I replied, frustration evident in my voice.
Suddenly, Alpha Louis dragged one of Tom’s men into the control room, pushing him to the ground. "I asked him to tell us where Tom is, but he’s refusing."
"Where is your boss?" I asked, taking slow strides toward him.
The bastard refused to talk and only glared at me.
"I don’t know why they keep doing this. It never ends well for them." I bent down and cupped his face. Without warning, I used the blade to slowly carve out his left eye and half of his face. He writhed and screamed in agony, but I had warned him, hadn’t I?
"Are you ready to talk?" I asked, glancing down at the bloody blade with a wicked smile. "Because I promise, I enjoy doing things like this."
"He’s... at the lab," the bastard choked out in fear. "Please..."
"What lab?" I raised an eyebrow.
"The... new lab that Tom and Jason created."
"Wait, Jason? As in Damon’s scientist?"
"Yes... please..."
"Where’s the lab?"
"It’s towards the north wing, please," he pleaded, blood gushing out from his face.
"Let’s go," I said, rising to my feet and turning to Kane and Louis. "We don’t have any time to waste."
Louis gave a swift kick to the fallen man, who whimpered in pain. "Make sure he doesn’t follow us," he instructed one of our men before we left the control room.
As we made our way to the north wing, the corridors were quiet, the only sound our footsteps echoing off the walls.
"What’s the plan when we find Tom?" Kane asked. Do we kill him?"
"No, I need him alive," I replied coldly. "As for the enhanced wolves, finish them all."
When we finally reached the entrance to the lab, I could hear muffled sounds of activity from within. I signaled for silence, and we approached cautiously.

"Tara, come on, stay behind me," I pulled her back, my eyes scanning the area cautiously.
"Where do you think you’re going?"
Tara and I froze and turned. It was two of the elders, their claws out and bloody.
"You didn’t think it would be easy for you to escape, did you?" one of them snarled at us.
"What do you want with us?" Tara asked sharply. "Didn’t you all kill the other alphas?"
"Well, we did, but those savage beasts had to go and ruin everything," he replied. "And we’re not going to leave here without powering up."
"And Tom?" I asked, my voice thick with contempt. "I thought he had it all figured out."
"Well, that bastard Tom is nowhere to be found," the elder sneered. "He just wasted the blood of those alphas for nothing."
"That’s what you get for being so fucking greedy and pathetic," I spat back, anger boiling inside me.
"Enough already," he snapped. "We’re not leaving here without your genes."
"Over our dead body," Tara growled, shifting her stance.
"That can be arranged," he snarled, advancing towards us.
"I’d like to see you try," Tara glared in their direction.
"What are you doing, Tara?" I whispered to her. "They’re fucking elders, Tara, they’re stronger than us."
"Well, are we just going to let them kill us?" she shot back at me.
The elders advanced, and as they closed in on us, Tara and I braced ourselves, knowing we were in for the fight of our lives.
They struck with incredible speed and strength, overwhelming us almost immediately. I was thrown against the wall, my vision swimming as I struggled to get back on my feet. Tara was faring no better, dodging and countering as best she could, but it was clear we were outmatched.
Somehow, in the chaos, we managed to land a lucky blow. One of the elders stumbled and fell backward, impaling himself on a sharp metal rod protruding from the debris. His scream echoed through the hallway before he went still.
The remaining elder let out a roar of rage, his eyes glowing brighter as he turned his fury on us. Oh, he was fucking pissed. He lunged at Tara, flinging her against the wall with a sickening thud. I watched in horror as she crumpled to the ground, barely moving.
He focused on me next, his blows relentless. I tried to fight back, but his strength was overwhelming. He beat me to a damn pulp, and I felt my consciousness slipping. Just as he was about to rip my heart out, Tara pulled him back.
"Get off him you bastard!" she screamed.
The elder snarled, turning his rage on her. With a swift motion, he plunged his hand into her chest. Tara gasped in pain.
Fuck! I saw red, fury surging through me.
Grabbing the sharp metal rod beside me, I summoned every ounce of strength I had left and swung it at the elder. The blade connected with his neck, slicing through flesh and bone. His head toppled to the ground, and his body crumpled lifelessly beside Tara.
I dropped the rod and rushed to her, my heart pounding in my chest. Tara was lying on the ground, her hand clutching her bleeding chest, gasping for air. I quickly knelt beside her, cradling her gently in my arms.
"Tara, hold on," I whispered, my voice trembling. "You’re going to be okay."
She looked up at me, I could see the pain in her eyes. "Chris... I..."
"Shh," I said, tears streaming down my face. "Don’t talk. Just stay with me."
She nodded weakly. Her breathing was now shallow and labored. "Promise me... you’ll take care of him... my dad..."
"I promise," I said, my voice breaking. "I swear it."
She gave me a faint smile, her hand tightening around mine. "Thank you, Chris..."
"No, no, please Tara, stay with me," I begged, my voice breaking.
"Chris, I’m so sorry..." she whispered, her voice frail.
"I know, don’t say anything. I’m gonna get you out of here," I said, desperation rising in my chest.
"Tell Razor I’m... sorry," she choked out, coughing up blood. "Tell... him I only did what I did because I thought it was right."
"Tara, please stop talking."
"Tell him... I loved him so much," she cried. "Tell Isabella that I’m sorry... also."
"I will," I nodded frantically. "I will, I promise."
"Chris... I’m sorry I couldn’t give you my heart," she continued, bringing more tears to my eyes. "I pray that in my next life, the Moon Goddess makes you my mate."
"I know," I nodded. "Me too."
She placed her fingers under my chin and pulled me into a deep kiss. "Thank you," she smiled weakly. "Now go, they’re coming."
I glanced up, hearing the roars of those fucking creatures. "I can’t do it," I shook my head. "I can’t leave you. I love you."
"I’m... already gone, Chris," she smiled faintly. "See you on the other side."
I held her close, feeling her life slip away. "Tara, no... please I love you," I whispered, but she was already gone. Her body grew limp in my arms, and I knew I had lost her.
