Chapter 120: Missing.

**Isabella**

I stood outside, my eyes fixed on the dark horizon. My heart pounded in my chest, I was feeling so uneasy.

"Isabella, why are you still outside?" Lisa asked, coming to stand beside me.

"I don’t know, Lisa," I sighed, my voice. "I just feel so uneasy..."

Lisa placed a comforting hand on my shoulder. "Calm down. It’s going to be alright. I’m sure Alpha Razor will return safely."

I nodded, but my anxiety didn’t dissipate. "It’s not just Razor, Lisa. It’s everything. The tension, the uncertainty. I can’t help but feel like something terrible is about to happen."

Lisa tightened her grip on my shoulder, trying to offer some semblance of reassurance. "He’s been through so much already, Isabella. He’s faced challenges and come out stronger. This will be no different."

"I hope you’re right," I murmured, my gaze still fixed on the horizon.

We stood in silence for a moment, the cool night air wrapping around us.

"What about Cross?" I looked at her. "Have you both finally settled your differences?"

"I guess," she blushed a little, nodding her head. "I’m just so glad, Isabella."

"And I’m happy for you."

"Thank you," she smiled, stretching her arms in the air. "We’re not back together per se; we’re just going to start up as friends."

"You both don’t have an option," I snorted, shaking my head.

Well, I was technically telling the truth because of Razor. They wouldn’t be able to date here without his permission.

"Is it because of Alpha Razor?"

"Yes, of course." I nodded. "I’m sure Cross has told you a lot about him."

"Not really," she shook her head slowly. "Although, I’m now aware why he seemed to be so scared of his brother. But he’s only ever said good things about him."

I was a bit surprised. "Like what?"

"He respects him so much," she began. "He’s always been the one to protect him, correct him, and he’s aware everything he does is because he loves him."

"Yeah, that’s kind of valid," I agreed. "Razor might be tough and all, but he really does love his little brother so much."

"Yes, he does," Lisa said. "Although he’s a little bit strict."

"A little bit?" I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Very strict," she corrected with a smile, and I laughed. "I know Cross is dying to come out of his room."

"He’d better not," I laughed, but then it faded immediately when I heard noise coming from inside the house.

"What’s that?" Lisa asked, also confused by the yelling.

"I think it’s Kelsey’s voice. What is that bitch up to now?" I snorted, starting to walk towards the living room with Lisa closely behind me.

As we got closer, the shouting became clearer. Kelsey’s voice was unmistakable, high-pitched and angry. "You have no fucking right to talk to me like that!" she screamed.

We rounded the corner and saw Kelsey standing in the middle of the room, facing off with Felicia . Her face was red with fury, and her hands were clenched into fists.

"Felicia, what the hell is going on?" I demanded, stepping into the room.

"Luna," Felicia started, running her hand through her hair. "I asked Kelsey to go back to her parents, but she blatantly refused to leave."

"I don’t want to," Kelsey fired back at her. "And you have no right to force me."

"But I brought you here, remember?" Felicia retorted. "And don’t you talk to me in that tone."

"You should follow your own advice too, Aunt, and don’t talk to me in that manner."

"That’s enough!" I snapped at Kelsey. "What is your problem? Why are you disrespecting your aunt?"

"I didn’t disrespect her. I only refused to leave."

"And why don’t you want to leave?" I asked, glaring at her.

"Because I like working here. I love Alpha Razor as my boss, and the only person who can kick me out is him."

"You’ve definitely lost your mind, Kelsey," I shook my head. "I think you should leave right now."

"You really think you can make me leave, Isabella?" My name rolled out of her mouth roughly. "You must be dreaming."

I stepped closer, my patience wearing thin. "Kelsey, you’re being unreasonable. This is for your own good."

Kelsey glared at me defiantly. "I don’t fucking care. I belong here, and I’m not leaving just because Felicia says so."

Felicia threw her hands up in exasperation. "Luna, you see what I have to deal with? She’s impossible."

"I’ve had it with you," I gritted my teeth angrily. "Guards!" I shouted, and immediately some of Razor’s men appeared. "Throw this woman out."

"What are you doing?" Kelsey yelled as they grabbed her arms. "Alpha Razor is the only one who can give that order."

"Well, in case you don’t know, my husband isn’t here, so that leaves me in charge," I scoffed. "Now throw her out."

"Wait, please," she tried to wiggle out of their hold. "I’ll go by myself. I need to pack my stuff."

"And why should I believe you?" I crossed my arms, eyeing her skeptically.

"I swear, I just need to take my stuff and I’ll leave, okay?" she said sharply.

I considered her request for a few seconds, noticing Felicia’s uneasy expression. Reluctantly, I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt.

"Let her go," I ordered the men.

Kelsey pulled her arms free and shot me a defiant look. "I’ll be out in ten minutes."

"See that you are," I replied coldly. "If you’re not gone by then, I’ll have the guards throw you out anyway."

Kelsey didn’t respond, just turned and walked briskly towards her room. I watched her go, a mixture of frustration and relief washing over me. I turned to Felicia.

"Keep an eye on her," I said. "I don’t trust that she won’t try something."

Felicia nodded, still looking uneasy. "I will. Thank you, Luna, and I’m so sorry, I don’t..."

"It’s alright, Felicia," I interrupted her with a smile. "It’s not your fault."

She nodded, drawing a relieved breath. "Thank you."

"Alright, I’m going upstairs." I nodded and went upstairs to see Lisa coming out of Cross’s room.

"I had to go explain the whole commotion to him," she explained, already anticipating my question.

I laughed. "I knew he would have been confused about all the noise."

"So, is she leaving?" Lisa asked.

"Yes, finally." I rolled my eyes.

"Cross wanted to ask how it went."

"Oh, I want to go check up on Nathan," I sighed.

"Don’t worry," Lisa said. "I’ll check up on him; you can go."

"Alright, thanks, Lisa." I walked straight to Cross’s door and knocked. He invited me in.

"Well, somebody looks bored," I chuckled, amused at him glancing at the ceiling with a bored expression.

"I’m not even allowed to put on the TV," he grumbled.

"Yikes," I shook my head, taking a seat on the sofa. "Typical Razor."

"I heard from Lisa. What’s with Kelsey?"

"That bitch has been asking for it," I sneered. "Felicia told her to leave, but she refused and started fighting with her."

"What’s her deal?"

"She’s trying to seduce Razor."

Cross began to laugh, holding his tummy. "Does she have a death wish or something?" 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

"You see, that’s Felicia’s fear. She’s afraid Kelsey might get into trouble."

"Experience is a good teacher."

"I’d have loved for her to experience Razor’s wrath, but I’m afraid it would break Felicia," I breathed, resting my back on the sofa. "It’s already taken care of, though. I threatened to throw her out if she doesn’t leave."

"Good," Cross nodded. "The last thing we need is more drama."

"I’m really worried about Razor and the others," I confessed with a sigh.

"He’ll be fine, believe me," Cross said, smiling reassuringly.

"I’ll try to stay positive," I breathed sharply. "I don’t know why I feel so uneasy, like something bad is about to happen."

Just then, Lisa stormed into the room without knocking, panting hard.

"Isabella..." she breathed, taking rasping breaths.

"What’s the matter, Lisa?" I stood up abruptly, my heart pounding. "Tell me."

"It’s Nathan," she cried, holding her chest. "He’s gone."

Cross sprang out of bed and came forward. "What do you mean gone?"

Lisa looked at me; she could tell I was a second from collapsing.

"What do you mean, Lisa?" Cross’s agitated voice boomed, startling me out of my daze.

"I went to Isabella’s room and found him gone,"Lisa cried.

I quickly dashed out of the room and went straight to mine to check. Just as Lisa said, he was gone. Just how

"My baby," I cried, clutching hard at my chest. "Where’s my little pup?"

"I’m so sorry, Isabella," Lisa sobbed. "I checked up on him, and he was sound asleep. But when I came back, he was gone."

"Come on, we have to go inform the guards before the culprit escapes," Cross suggested.

I nodded and started running out, but I froze, glancing around frantically.

"What’s wrong, Isabella?" Cross asked, gazing at me in confusion.

"Kelsey!" I yelled. "Where’s that bitch?"

We all rushed downstairs to check her room, but when we got there, it was empty, although her belongings were still there.

"What’s going on?" Felicia glanced at Cross and me in confusion.

"Nathan is gone," I sobbed. "And so is Kelsey."

"What?" Felicia looked as though she was about to faint. "I saw her some minutes ago. Let’s inform the guards."

But Lisa walked in, panting hard. "The guards saw her leaving with a black bag. I already informed them; they’ve gone after her."

"I can’t do this," I shook my head, pacing around. "I can’t stay here. I’m going out there to search for my son."
