An Extra's POV: My Three Fiancees Hate Me-Chapter 27: Dungeon
Chapter 27: Dungeon
After staying with his mother for a little bit longer, she decided to leave him for now. She got up from the bed and walked out.
"You promised to play with me when you come back," Amber said as she walked out.
Riven smiled as he heard that. He felt happy with how far he had come in only three days, but there was still a long way to go for him.
He decided to check his stats before he headed out, to see just how far he had come in three days.

The changes that he got were massive. In three days he had increased his stats by a lot and also gotten a wider range of skills. He was a lot stronger now compared to what he was the first day.
"I've been all calm and collected for three days now, allowing people to say or do what they want. That's about to change. This is where the real story starts," he thought to himself and then looked up.
"Frozen fish, I'm going to make you regret bringing me here. Screw your plot, I'm creating mine."
He left the room with his pouch of coins and headed down the hallway that led to the stairs, but as he got to the stairs, he noticed his brother, Noel, standing there.
His arms folded and his back leaned against the wall, he glanced at Riven as he approached, a cold stare in his eyes.
The mood immediately became tense as the both of them stared at each other. Noel pushed himself off the wall, standing just a few feet away from Riven.
"I don't know what your plan is, but the academy has always been mine, my dream. I worked for it all my life. So don't think that you'll simply wake up one day and try to be what you are not," Noel said. He stared right into his brother's eyes.
Riven wanted to take a step back and tell his brother that he had no intention of taking anything away from him, but he stopped himself.
Why should he take crap from anyone again? He had already solidified himself to an extent now, and he had become an actual threat in the eyes of others—especially his brother Noel. He was going to steal this story after all.
He stepped closer to Noel, their faces a few inches apart, his eyes locked with his brother's.
"So what if you trained your whole life? What does that have to do with me? Do you believe that because you are talented, no one else should have the right to dream? Selfish narcissist," Riven said. He pushed closer to his brother as he spoke.
"You know we don't have to get along even if we are blood-related, but please do not stand in my way of my own growth because of your pride and ego. It won't go well for you," Riven spoke, making sure that each word was clear and clean, reaching the ear of his brother and registering in his mind.
Noel's eyes widened. He stared at his brother, shocked. His eyes then slowly closed to slits. "Your words don't threaten me, Riven. You are my brother—the same useless one you have always been.
It doesn't matter if you got some new abilities. Your level and mine will never be the same. I will walk worlds around you every single time," Noel said.
"Ha, don't choke when I make you eat those words later," Riven said as he walked. His shoulder hit against Noel's shoulder to clear a path. He went down the stairs without turning back, while Noel stood at the top of the stairs looking down at his brother with a bland expression.
Riven made his way out of the house and into the town. He walked along the streets as usual, headed for the guild, but he passed by Dark's blacksmith shop and decided to pop in for a bit.
He pushed the door and the bell rang as usual. Lucas looked up from the counter, and when he saw Riven, his face lit up in a smile.
"Riven? Nice to see you," he said, placing the sword that was in his hands on the counter. He came out from behind the counter and threw his hands around Riven's shoulder.
"So tell me, how was your first day as an adventurer?" he asked.
"It was fine. I had a small quest yesterday. I decided to greet you guys before I headed for another quest," Riven said.
"Well it's too bad you just missed Master. He had a delivery to make. He'll probably not be back until night. But that aside, why are you going to get a quest?
Didn't you hear? A dungeon opened yesterday night in the forest, and after analysis, they have said it is a Bronze-level dungeon, which means every adventurer can get access to it," Lucas explained.
Riven was shocked by this. His eyes widened. "A dungeon? That means I can get some good rewards from it," he said, excited.
But in reality, he was wondering why a dungeon would show up here this early in the story and in a town like this. Dungeons were important assets, and all known ones from Bronze rank up were stated in the story.
And he had never heard of one coming from Ribest. This made him wonder what was happening—this was definitely not part of the main story.
"I should really go check it out. Thanks, Lucas," Riven said in a rush and left. He walked at a rushed pace toward the guild, and right from the outside, he could already see lots of adventurers trooping in.
