Ancient Tears BloodLine-Chapter 1393 - 2nd wave (battlefield)
From MC Perspective
Warrior Camp 8
Buzz!
The next morning, the battle alarm sounded again. The sound spread across the whole warrior camp.
As time went by, the warriors exited their stone rooms and started heading towards the teleportation platform.
In a flash, many figures flew across the sky. It was as if it were another regular day. But there are casualties in each fight.
On the other hand, I exited the stone building. I was wearing the Star University uniform instead of the battle uniform.
I found out that everyone was doing it to identify their people on the battlefield. Then, I used a mask to cover my face. I looked at the people flying across the sky.
I found the numbers were greater this time. I thought of something, and then I understood it could be a new batch.
I had to be careful of the Giant Tower People. Someone tried to cause trouble yesterday, but I cleverly avoided it.
I knew that it would continue today as well. I shook my head and continued going towards the teleportation platform.
Shortly afterwards,
I arrived at the teleportation platform. I saw that warriors were entering the portal one by one. I found a spot and started waiting.
I decided to enter last. As the seconds passed by, my mask drew attention. Seeing that, I ignored their gazes and continued to wait for my turn to come.
The warriors were quite confused. They didn’t know why the masked man was acting like that. Especially the warriors from the new batch, they were even more doubtful.
The previous batch had briefed them about the masked man, so they were quite cautious. On the other hand, the warriors from Giant Tower University showed hostility.
They knew what happened with Bob Vic. Their member was humiliated. The news was yet to reach others, and though it was a small episode, they didn’t have to take it seriously but they did anyway.
At that time, I felt the malicious gazes as well. I quickly found the source of the gaze. It was coming from the warriors wearing the Giant Tower University uniform.
My eyes flashed with disdain because I knew this would happen. I took my gaze off them.
Time went by,
It didn’t take long for my turn to come. Fewer than ten warriors remained in the line. I joined the line and stood behind a middle-aged man.
The middle-aged man happened to be a Star University Warrior. He turned around and noticed the masked warrior.
"Hey, junior brother. What’s your name?"
"I heard that you are famous?" the middle-aged man asked.
Hearing that, I nodded to him and smiled. But I didn’t reply. The middle-aged man’s smile disappeared.
He continued to stare. Seeing that the young man was not replying, he snorted before turning around. Then he entered the teleportation platform and disappeared from the spot.
I shook my head. The middle-aged man was smiling earlier, but I didn’t feel good about it. He could be plotting something despite being from the same university.
Swoosh!
Then I stepped inside the portal and disappeared from the spot. It didn’t take long for me to land on the ground.
I walked out and exited the layer. I saw no one outside. Everyone went ahead to the front line.
But I knew the foreign creatures’ team would come here. After walking quite a distance forward, I stopped.
I took the long white bone staff out and held it in my hand. Then I used my perception to check the surroundings.
So far, there were no foreign creatures nearby. My eyebrows furrowed. Last time, there were fewer Gold Mark Warriors. I guessed today there would be more.
...
Hidden space, Foreign creatures side
The horned humanoid’s eyes were filled with killing intent. He had reported the genius human warrior’s information to the higher-ups.
They were enraged. After viewing the battle reports, they added the masked man to the kill list.
Yet the information was not enough. They were able to know that the masked man was from Star University.
The humanoid saw that the masked man was wearing the face mask again. He noticed the Star University Warrior Uniform.
So his report was right. It would be a matter of time before the masked warrior faced death. The higher-ups told him to use full force against the masked warrior.
But he had to keep other warriors away. So this time, apart from a few, he had ordered most of the kin to eliminate the masked warrior.
...
Hidden space, Human side
Supervisor Ronan was watching from his side. His eyes flashed with worry. He could tell that Zack Lockwood was going to face serious trouble this time.
He didn’t think the battle was going to be the same. He thought that the horned humanoid must have made a plan.
...
Battlefield
My gaze continued to sweep over the battlefield. I didn’t know what was taking them so long. But I had a feeling that something bad was going to occur.
Boom!
A loud noise occurred.
I gripped the white bone staff. I raised my head and looked ahead. I saw a weird black aura coming towards me.
The weird black aura stretched across a couple of hundred meters. When they stepped a few meters forward, I saw many foreign creatures of different sizes and shapes. This time the aura was causing oppression.
"Gold Mark Level," I uttered.
My eyes continued to scan the foreign creatures. I could not find a single Silver Mark Level Foreign Creature.
A hint of apprehension appeared in my eyes.
This time the foreign creatures were going all out to kill me because the number of foreign creatures was more than fifty.
I gripped the white bone staff tightly.
Swoosh!
In a flash, the foreign creatures got closer. I quickly made a decision to kill as many foreign creatures as possible.
Thunder!
I covered the white bone staff in dark purple lightning force. The next second, I disappeared from the spot and appeared in front of the first foreign creature.
Smash!
I brought the heavy white bone staff downward. The humanoid foreign creature was shocked. Before it could block the attack, the lower end struck its chest.
