Even though Atlas had great apprehension about the changes of the future, he was still confident that he could not change it now. Which meant he had to wait.

"All right. That still doesn’t change the fact that I can’t have you under my command," Atlas replied to the girls.

The hopeful look on the faces of all three girls had been diminished by his uttering those words. Atlas needed the people who followed him in the future. After all, he had once tried and failed to save humanity on his own.

Now he was in a situation where he had to try to save the world, even if he didn’t care about many things and even if being a hero was not on his mind.

And when he was officially brainwashed by humanity and sacrificed his life for them, he could not even think of saving the world alone when he was alone and everyone he tried to save was dead.

Still, trying to subjugate the three girls in front of him would only increase the reactions towards him. Vampires were a race that was cruel to anyone who wasn’t one of them. They were one of the most perfect races of creation. And those three were dying to serve him.

They would not die unless beheaded and had no weakness to things like poison. They were probably the closest race on earth to the concept of ’god’.

The fact that these girls were the children of the Vampire Duke Sullivan was what pushed Atlas back.

"Well..." Lyra said suddenly, and then, looking at Atlas carefully, "What if we fight for you without your permission? You say that because of our father, don’t you? We’re not all cruel, at least we’re not like our father, and if we follow you without your permission, we’ll be the ones in trouble."

After these words, Atlas’s strangeness at everything that happened seemed to increase even more.

"In the future, I will be active not only in this academy but in the whole world. I don’t aim to be as good as you think. You can’t know that I won’t turn into a bad person at any moment when all humanity is rotten. The world is not as rosy as it is in this empire, girls." Atlas suddenly said.

Then, scratching his head, "You can die, I can die too, there were only devil worshipers in this academy. Kris almost killed you, and he was a low-ranking person even among the devil worshippers. The people I will fight in the future will not only be devil worshippers, but also angel worshippers."

With that, Lyra closed her mouth and fell silent.

Atlas shook his head left and right and then said, "But that means I will need help. You’ve made a full recovery, haven’t you?"

"Yes. We’re in perfect condition," Lyra said.

Atlas nodded his head up and down as if he understood and then said, "Okay. At the end of this month or the start of the next. When I raise my aura level to second grade, we’ll go somewhere. To kill. To destroy the devil worshippers. The entire empire has been purged. Except for the city of Herria. The members of the Herria duchy will fight together with the soldiers from the empire under my command. The emperor Aether who is my uncle, gave this mission to me."

"When that time comes, come with me. If I think you fight well, are competent and serious, you will be under my command until you wish to leave. If I think otherwise...you understand, I don’t need to tell you."

When Lyra, Lucia and Lisa heard these words, they suddenly stood up and then Lisa said the following words:

"Then we need to improve ourselves until the time comes. We received a blessing. We don’t know from whom, we will go to the altar at the academy and find out. We will repay you in full, we promise."

After these words, Atlas smiled and nodded his head and said, "Thank you."

The three girls left the room, and another message window opened in front of Atlas:

[I told you, they were always saying things like that while you were sleeping. It’s hard not to like them.]

Atlas smiled when he saw this message and then stood up and said, "I still haven’t tried the techniques master Perseus gave me. I really need to go to the training grounds now." and then he left the room.

As soon as he came out of the room, he saw the elf he had saved and couldn’t help thinking, "Oh come on..."

"Hello, Atlas," the young elf girl said.

Atlas stopped her instantly and said, "Look, I have to go to the training grounds and start working out. So if you want to talk to me, follow me or find me later."

As soon as he said those words, he started walking down the corridor and saw the young elf girl coming up behind him.

"My name is River, I am the youngest daughter of the Elf Queen Thalia," the young elf girl said suddenly.

Atlas stayed where he was and suddenly stopped where he was and turned round.

"Oh..." he said again. He was trying to understand why all the noble girls had come and found him.

[PUHAHAHA!]

Suddenly, with a strange message from Hermes, Atlas was surprised and realised at that moment that even the gods and goddesses were laughing at him.

Immediately after that, he started walking again, and at that time he asked, "Well, may I ask what you want from me?"

"With your permission, I want to repay you! You saved my life!" River complained.

"If you want to serve me or something, please stop, I’m very busy," Atlas replied.

"It doesn’t matter to me, I will serve you, you don’t have to accept it," River said, starting to walk next to Atlas at that moment.

’What’s wrong with them?! All the crazies find me!!!’ he muttered in his mind.

With this thought, he managed to arrive at the training grounds after a short time and then went inside and returned to River.

"Please, I have already spoken to three people today who have asked to serve me; everyone needs to calm down a little."

Yet when he said those things he really had no idea what effect these words would have on River.
