Antihero In the Hero Academy: I Can Connect the Past Heroes-Chapter 91: White Spring
Chapter 91: White Spring
Thalia, the royals, and the other nobles were all staring at him. River, however, felt that the solemnity of the moment was too much for Atlas and immediately stepped between Thalia and Atlas and asked, "We’re good to go now, aren’t we Mum?"
Thalia nodded her head up and down as she heard her daughter’s words and then said, "Yes, we just need to organise the documents and we don’t need Atlas for that."
Immediately after that, the Elf Queen turned to Atlas and added, "I will send you what you need to be given by River, so don’t worry."
Atlas smiled gently when he heard those words and was practically dragged out of the throne room by River. Even before the Elven nobles began to disperse, River had already managed to take Atlas to the other end of the palace.
Atlas had arrived in front of White Spring with River.
He had heard much about this area before. It was rumoured to be the fountain of life, where every flower and every fruit grew fast around the spring.
It could even be considered a partially sacred place.
Atlas looked at the young girl, wondering why River had brought her here. River had a calm smile on her face.
"There was no way we could have come in here without my mum’s permission. She ordered you to be brought here to repay her before you even got here. There may be only ten people who enter the White Spring, and you will be one of them."
Atlas looked towards the White Spring with his eyes wide open after hearing these words and questioned, "What?" as if he could not really believe what he heard.
"It’s just like you heard. You have permission. For your information, I haven’t even entered this spring yet, I’m not even old enough yet, unfortunately, it is forbidden for royal members who are not 20 years old, I don’t know why, it may be a ridiculous rule, but it is still a sacred rule. But you got a special [licence], you’re allowed to come in here, even if it’s only for three hours, it’s a special licence. I’m out of here, do whatever you want," River muttered.
Immediately after that, River slapped Atlas softly on the back twice and then left the area.
Atlas, on the other hand, tried to come to himself, took off his clothes in a short time and entered the White Spring.
With just one step into the spring, his whole body trembled from his feet to every hair on his head.
He did not even need to explain the magnitude of that pure energy entering his body.
With slow steps, he managed to enter the spring well, and then he sat down so that the clear water in the spring was at the level of his throat.
He could feel his body changing. Something in Atlas’s body began to change. After a short time, he was able to realise what had changed in his body.
"Diamond Body..." Atlas muttered.
The effect of the energy entering his body on his body was so pure and clean that his body technique, Diamond Body, was constantly moving and developing like a baby bird reuniting with its mother. It was an incredible speed and purity.
On top of that, Atlas was able to realise that his aura energy was getting stronger. Even though it was still strengthening at an incredibly slow rate, despite the combination of the help the spring had given him, he realised that his aura energy was already approaching a 1% increase.
He was constantly radiating his increasing energy throughout his body, praying that the energy entering would not explode his body.
He had never had time to cultivate the Diamond Body technique before. Ever since he received the technique, he had never, ever trained the technique within his sister’s training. Right now, however, it finally worked in his favour that the technique was strangely self-training.
He was in a pretty good condition. He was breathing steadily and removing the dirt from his body. The black particles that fell into the spring disappeared as if the spring was acidic, but the spring only destroyed this dirt and the sweat coming out of his body.
It was as if the spring itself was alive and controlling what was happening.
He still had about three hours to stay here.
To the west of the Epsilon Empire, in the region where the Duchy of Shorekeeper had been built, events were unfolding. One of the vampires under Cassandra’s command had made an incredible discovery.
When the discovery itself was told to Cassandra, the ancient woman was filled with incredible joy and came directly to the area where the event took place in order to check the reality of the event.
When it was proved to be true, the smile on Cassandra’s face increased.
"No way..." the ancient woman muttered. What she saw before her was a dungeon. One of the dungeons that had never been opened and would never be closed. Perhaps it was something that never existed in the Epsilon Empire.
These dungeons were world-type dungeons. They were dungeons where the person who entered could choose their difficulties and opened the doors of a different world every time.
They were one of the highest economic resources available, capable of transforming even ordinary villages into dungeon cities, and this opportunity was right inside the Shorekeeper Duchy. There was no need to explain how wonderful this was.
Even Cassandra could only half-estimate how much this event would cost the entire duchy. To turn a frozen region into a large city that could accommodate at least a hundred thousand people. Then turn it into a cold-water harbour city. After that, to have the mineral deposits in the mountain ranges.
And now to have a dungeon that won’t shut down.
This meant that they could hold a seriously priceless geography in their hands. It was such a large and mighty region that if Atlas declared himself a king, others might take him seriously just because of the might of his region.
It was inconceivable.
