Chapter 608: Savage...

"Ugh..." The Fifth-Gen Cyborg frowned slightly as he watched his fireball get knocked off course by a surge of overwhelming power, shooting up into the sky like a comet.

As the black mist cleared, a figure in white slowly emerged from the haze. His face was calm, his eyes distant—cold, even.

"Boss!"

Big Ears lit up with joy the moment he saw him, his face full of admiration, practically sparkling with heart-eyes.

Ethan spoke in a relaxed tone, "Sorry I’m late. Had to take a call."

"Oh..."

The zombies responded in unison, not particularly surprised. Deep down, they’d known they weren’t going to die—not with the boss around. He always showed up when it counted.

The Snowy Owl, on the other hand, was completely stunned. This was her first time seeing the legendary Zombie King in action—so powerful, so effortlessly cool.

So this is... the strongest zombie in America?

Ethan turned his head toward the Fifth-Gen Cyborg, his gaze sharp as he studied him up and down.

"You’re LORN, right?"

"Oh? You actually know my name..." The young man looked mildly surprised. That was the name of his original body—he hadn’t told a single soul since arriving on Earth.

Ethan kept going, "You human?"

"No. You should address me as one of the Starborn Celestials." LORN didn’t bother hiding his arrogance. In fact, he seemed almost offended by the idea of being called human, like the term was beneath him now.

Ethan paused, thinking it over. The one who’d sent him that signal earlier had called himself the Voidborn Undying. And now this guy—LORN—was calling himself a Starborn Celestial.

Clearly, these two weren’t on the same team.

And maybe... just maybe, these two alien factions represented the evolutionary paths of zombies and humans.

"I’d advise you not to fall for the Undying’s lies," LORN said, his tone lofty. "Hand over the Key of Realms. Once the Celestials fully descend, we might even spare your life."

Ethan narrowed his eyes. These off-world types really loved to "advise" him—always with that smug, holier-than-thou attitude.

"Well, here’s my advice for you... don’t waste your breath."

"You—!" LORN’s face twisted with rage at Ethan’s defiance.

His crystal core flared to life, pulsing with raw energy. A crushing pressure filled the air, his aura climbing higher and higher. A fight was inevitable now.

The tension in the air was thick—like a powder keg waiting for a spark.

Ethan’s Absolute Domain began to stir, waves of power rolling off him like a rising tide, each one stronger than the last. It felt like the whole world was holding its breath, waiting for the explosion.

The two stood locked in a deadly standoff, like two blades pressed tip to tip.

Even Big Ears and the other zombies exchanged uneasy glances, the pressure weighing down on them like a mountain.

"This guy seems... kinda strong," someone muttered.

"Don’t worry," Shrimpy said confidently. "Our boss is unbeatable!"

"Is he really?" The Snowy Owl narrowed her eyes, watching intently.

LORN’s pupils contracted, glowing with a fierce green light.

"If that’s how you want it... then die!"

With a roar, he launched forward like a missile, moving so fast he blurred. At the same time, a wave of freezing energy burst from him, dropping the temperature in an instant. Two long, razor-sharp ice spears formed in his hands.

Wherever he passed, the ground froze solid. Even the air itself seemed to crystallize.

Behind him, the mechanical army received the kill order and surged forward like a tidal wave, officially kicking off the battle.

As LORN closed in, ice spears gleaming with deadly chill, Ethan calmly drew a pitch-black katana and slashed forward in one fluid motion.

CLANG!

The katana met the ice spear with a screech of metal on crystal.

Then Ethan’s fire-element crystal core ignited, unleashing a wave of searing heat. Flames erupted around him, roaring to life.

Ice and fire—two elemental extremes—collided in a violent clash.

BOOM!

A deafening explosion rocked the battlefield, the shockwave blasting outward in all directions.

"Supernova Frost: Glacial Apocalypse!"

LORN’s voice rang out again, low and sharp. The breath of absolute cold surged outward, freezing the very air itself. In an instant, the temperature plummeted to absolute zero.

Particles stopped moving. Time itself seemed to pause. A dead-silent, frozen space took shape around him.

Ethan felt the chill gnawing at his bones. A crimson flash lit up in his eyes—and then, without hesitation, he unleashed the Domain of the Dead.

A crushing force erupted from him like a collapsing mountain. The ground beneath his feet sank several inches under the sheer weight of it.

Everything caught within the domain’s reach was instantly reduced to ash.

The glacial storm and the Domain of the Dead collided with a thunderous roar, space itself trembling under the pressure. The sky cracked, the earth groaned—it was like watching the end of the world unfold.

"Fall back! Now!"

Lil’ Shroom shouted, panic in his voice. He grabbed Big Ears and the others, dragging them away as fast as their legs could carry them.

The power radiating from the clash was too much. Even an S+ class Zombie King couldn’t survive the shockwaves up close.

"So damn strong..." Lil’ Shroom muttered, frowning in awe. That Fifth-Gen Cyborg wasn’t just powerful—he was terrifying. Since the fight began, he’d already used multiple elemental powers.

So far: space, fire, earth, and now ice. And each one was devastating in its own right.

"How many trump cards does this guy have?" Lil’ Shroom’s brows furrowed deeper.

Meanwhile, the mechanical army was closing in fast. Their bodies gleamed with cold, metallic light, and the crystal cores in their chests pulsed ominously. They were built for one thing—killing.

"We’re screwed... they’re catching up!"

The Snowy Owl’s voice trembled as she stared at the sea of metal charging toward them. Her heart sank.

It was obvious now—this entire army had been deployed just to hunt her down.

Big Ears looked up and noticed a few crows circling overhead, their cries sharp and mournful.

"Relax. What, you think you’re the only one with backup?"

"Huh?" The Snowy Owl blinked, confused.

But before she could ask, a deafening screech tore through the air.

From behind a distant hill, a massive swarm of black crows burst forth like missiles, diving through the sky with piercing cries.

And beneath that dark cloud of wings... came the thunder of electric guitars.

Then—howls. Roars. The ground shook as a zombie horde surged into view, their numbers stretching as far as the eye could see. Tens of thousands—no, hundreds of thousands—of undead, pouring over the hills like a tidal wave of death.

At the front was Laura, leading the charge with a wicked grin. Behind her came Sprout, Little Shadow, and other terrifying Zombie Kings.

"Holy shit..." The Snowy Owl’s jaw dropped. The sheer scale of it left her speechless.

"Hehehehe..."

Laura let out a twisted giggle as she shot past the Snowy Owl like a gust of wind, diving straight into the mechanical army.

Her alloy claws slashed through steel like butter, sparks flying as she ripped the head off a Cyborg with a single swipe.

The zombie horde crashed into the mechanical army like two tsunamis colliding—flesh and metal, instinct and programming, chaos and order.

It was a war of civilizations.

"Savage..." The Snowy Owl couldn’t help but gasp.

And on the edge of the battlefield, another faction watched with growing dread—Darius and the Vampire Race.

They stood frozen, overwhelmed by the sheer scale and brutality of the battle unfolding before them.

Ethan and the Fifth-Gen Cyborg’s duel alone was enough to wipe them out with a stray shockwave.

And now, tens of thousands of zombies were clashing with the most advanced war machines on the planet.

Both sides were apex predators in their own right.

One of Darius’s underlings turned to him, panic in his voice. "Boss, they’re going at it full force... What do we do now?"

Darius’s face was grim, his eyes locked on the battlefield. With their ragtag forces, they didn’t stand a chance of influencing this fight.

The war had already begun.

"Go! Send word to Lord Malcolm—now!" Darius barked.
