"Tang Si Qin, what are you doing here?"

Tang Si Qin walked to the main hall and looked up, seeing his mother standing with her arm crossed. She was already in her forties, but she still looked very young.

Tang Family might be one of the eight big family. However, they were essentially different from the others because they were a prominent medicinal family. Almost all the major medicines all across Green Planet came from them.

Thus, when there were any competition between the younger generation, it has always been the battle of medicines and their ability to differentiate herbs.

The better they scored, the more appreciated they would be.

"There’s a family meeting," Tang Si Qin replied calmly. "Unless the Tang Family want to ignore the call from the planet, then you can choose not to come."

Tang Si Qin’s mother flinched.

Everyone in the Tang Family knew very well that they couldn’t possibly do that. Their position in Green Planet was based on the fact that they had made contribution in the history. But even if they were given benefit, it would not last forever unless they continued to provide help for the planet.

As one of the only two medical families among the eight big families, Tang Family had a considerable high status. Even then, they were basically the only family that focused on medicine as the other family’s main profession was not in medical family.

Thus, the status of Tang Family was basically the highest in the medical world.

Everyone knew that offending the Tang Family would deny them from the entries of majority of hospital in Green Planet. Their monopoly was extremely strong, but thankfully they usually looked so amiable on the surface that everyone could tolerate them.

But Tang Si Qin knew how much of a bulls*** those things were.

Amiable?

But he ignored them and leave them be.

Tang Si Qin was called back too.

Even though his position was not high, but he was still part of the Tang Family nevertheless. So they still asked him to come and watch the spectacle.

"Of course not." Tang Si Qin’s mother snorted. She looked at her son and then turned around, not wanting to see him anymore.

Tang Si Qin didn’t care.

The hatred of his parents to him was something that he knew ever since he was young. Even if he didn’t understand why, he knew very well that his parents disliked him ever since he was a child.

Perhaps, it was because they always deem him to be unsuitable for their Tang Family and that he was incapable.

Not that Tang Si Qin wanted to deny it.

Compared to his younger brother, who was a natural prodigy for medicine, he was indeed far away.

Tang Si Qin didn’t bother with his mother and continued to walk around the courtyard, admiring the plants there. The Tang Family had a lot of plants, many of them have various medicinal properties that was relatively rare if compared to the outside world.

What could a young child who was only 7 to 8 years old do when facing so many adults who restrained him?

He had to follow them.

Follow to that place where a bitter hell awaited them.

Day after day, weeks after weeks, month after months, years after years...

He struggled to survive with hatred filling his heart. Because he knew very well that if it was not for his family’s greed, he would not have ended up here.

Most of the new people who came would be children younger than him in order to make sure that they have no memory about their past whatsoever. But he was different because he was older and already had the memory of his family.

And none of it was good.

Tang Si Qin didn’t understand why his memory was not erased through whatever methods, but these memories became his motivation.
