The two of them duked it out, the world around them shook. A barrier formed around the fortress protecting it.

" EMPEROR EMPEROR EMPEROR EMPEROR." the soldiers roared shaking the entire fortress.

Their emperor fought valiantly against the giant snake but its scales were too touch, his attacks barely managed to pierce through.

The serpent on the other hand had the power to spew out mud. Tsunamis of mud rolled towards the man.

His axe split the ground and the sky, as the battle raged on Ved and Naledi noticed he was slowly losing.

Slowly, the serpent was gaining an advantage over him. Wounds accumulated over his body but he did not retreat.

Naledi decided to interfere, she casually pointed her finger and ice gathered Infront of her forming a giant icicle.

The moment the icicle formed the temperature around this entire region dropped and snow fell.

This place was obviously a weak world before the merge and formation of Pangera. Its laws were too weak to contain her power, even weaker than Earth’s.

However unlike earth this world was not young, it had reached its maturity, it was just weak and so were its denizens.

The two beings fighting below looked up sensing the overwhelming power above them.

The icicle dropped, before either could react it pierced through the head of the serpent killing it immediately.

Its cold temperature spread out and formed a layer of ice over the man’s body. He stood there frozen with a mouth wide open.

He had never met a being with so much power, he had heard legends of people with power far above his own.

However his world couldn’t support the full power of such beings without crumbling so he stood at the epitome of what’s possible in his world.

The man was about thank the person who helped him when a dragon landed Infront of him.

Dragons were only creatures of legends in his world. He could feel that it was of the same rank as him.

However he knew he would die instantly if he tried to fight it.

" I’m taking this, you don’t mind do you?" He heard a deep voice that shook his eardrums and he froze.

It took a few seconds to respond and he just nodded not knowing what to say, to be honest he wanted this serpent.

Not only would its meat be able to supplement his cultivation, its bones could be made into weapons and its scales into armour.

However he didn’t dare say no, the dragon opened its mouth and something incomprehensible happened.

The entire serpent, more than 400 metres long disappeared into the dragons mouth. It burped like it was full and took to the skies.

There he saw the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his life. He stared blankly at her.

The woman looked down with her cold blue eyes that glistened like crystals. Her blue hair with white tips danced in the air like the curtains of heaven.

The world seemed to slow down for him, he was a single emperor, so far he was yet to meet a woman who met his standards.

Yet now he met one he felt was far above him. The woman landed on the dragon’s back, he figured it was her mount and they took off.

He watched them disappear into the horizon and swore he would grow stronger one day and find her.

Ved and Naledi flew through this grassland and left its domain in only a few hours, a testament of how small it was.

They entered a region that was a complete opposite. It was covered in tall mountain ranges that stretched to the horizon.

They felt the aura of incredibly powerful demonic beasts as soon as they entered this region.

The essence and laws were much thicker which explained why none of the beasts here invaded the grasslands.

It would be like moving from earth to the moon where there’s no oxygen, it was not worth it, especially since a place like that held no benefits.

As they were flying through the sky they felt multiple terrifying gazes on them, Ved entered stealth mode and descended.

This region had beings they couldn’t deal with, even with his king’s authority, he can’t control beasts that are a stronger than he is.

They landed deep in the mountain range and he took his humanoid form, it was smaller and better for hiding in such a dangerous place. His tail sways gently behind him as they walked forward.

The weaker beasts at the edge of the mountain range ran as soon as they sensed them.

They walked deeper with less vigilance than they should have. It didn’t take them long to find beasts willing to challenge them.

They could feel battles being waged all around them. This place had constant fighting.

The beasts facing them wss a pack of hyena like creatures. They had red fur and two tails that looked like bone whips.

Ved and Naledi looked at each other, only five were at the projection realm with most being rank 4.

The pack attacked first, Naledi stood back and watched, letting him take care of everything.

Ved took a fighting stance, his dragon art was not too great in human form but he can still use it.

The largest one reached him first and lunged with its mouth wide open. It was larger than a mini van.

It was not too big for a creature of its rank but it was an understandable size for a pack animal. Ved punched.

The air quaked but space did not crack, it was very solid unlike that of earth. His fist blurred forward like a streak of light.

It landed on the creature’s face and he felt its bones break like brittle glass. Its head exploded like a watermelon.

The force continued to rip apart the rest of its body. "Shit, so many points wasted." He cursed which made Naledi laugh.

However he couldn’t be blamed for this, he was used to fighting really strong beings and forgot how to hold back.

The rest of the pack stopped and watched what used to be the body of their leader then turned and ran.

He waved his hand and web strings shot out binding all of them including the two other rank 5.

They swung their bone tails like whips and cut the strings but more came and bound then a moment later.

Bones stabbed out of their bodies and they struggled to cut the strings but the strings came like an endless wave.

Ved flicked his fingers and the strings cut off the head of every hyena creature. He dragged them to him and his head turned into that of a dragon.

He looked quite comical with a humanoid body and dragon head larger than the body itself.
