The lizardman had caused the rain, each drop fell like a condensed mountain. Even Ved felt his hard scales itch.

Naledi snapped her fingers, the rain immediately turned into snow, this action shook the lizardman.

His confidence faltered, Ved was about to attack when they heard footsteps as if somebody was walking on water.

They looked up and from the distance they saw a muscular lizardman with wrinkles approaching them, walking on air as if it was solid ground.

His aura shook the sky, rain fell even harder dispersing Naledi's snow, she frowned. This man was at the comprehension realm.

An entire realm above her, however she wasn't going to bow down to him. Ved took his true form immediately.

His massive body towering over everybody like a small hill. Without a second thought he activated ignition to it full capacity.

Then used soul force, the threat of the lizardman also causes his image to manifest behind him.

It presence surprised everybody except Naledi. The image was almost fully solid which they had never seen in a mere projection realm.

For them, they broke through only after their images were about 10 to 15 percent solid which was the minimum requirement.

And also the most solid state most of the projection realms can achieve. Their souls were too weak to support a more solid image.

Yet here they were seeing one that was probably over 90 percent solid. Even the old lizardman paused.

"You truly live up to your title your highness, fear not, your blood will serve our people well."

Ved immediately understood, they were after his essence blood just as Wilflower had warned.

However he thought the leaf necklaces could hide them, he and Naledi looked at each other seeing the confusion in their eyes.

" What do you mean? How will my blood help you exactly?" He pretended to be confused.

The old man laughed revealing his sharp dragon like teeth. " We are descendents of dragon kind.

While out bloodline is impure, we are still children of mighty dragons, that noble blood flows through our veins. You my lord are a true dragon, do you understand now?"

Ved sighed, he had misunderstood, they didn't want him because he was him but simply because he's a true dragon, any true dragon could've done it, unfortunately he didn't even know if others besides him and Linglong existed.

" I see, what makes you think you'll succeed and even if you do, what makes you think you'll live long enough to enjoy your new power up? You do know who I am right?"

He asked threateningly but he was bluffing, Ved was not an idiot, this place was too isolated.

If something happened to him nobody would know unless they used divination to find out which he doubted they would.

" It wouldn't work anyways." Manas suddenly spoke in his head. " Divination does not work on you Ved and neither does it work on her.

While it can be used to search your location since you two are like walking beacons, that's about it. Anything else cannot be divined, not by normal means."

Her words shattered his hope fortunately the other party did not know that so he continued his bluff.

The old lizardman laughed softly, " Indeed my lord you are wise, there are ways to divine the truth.

Even I cannot hide the truth but I need not to for you see, I'm a dying old man."

Ved immediately understood, this was a suicide mission. The old man lizard planned to shoulder all the blame.

" You see my great grandson there, he's the most talented of our kind yet even he does not come close you."

He pointed at the first lizardman Ved met, Ved now understood why that lizardman's bloodline was so high.

The old lizardman took a step forward still walking on air like it was solid ground. Naledi stood Infront of him protectively.

He could see the tenseness on her shoulders but she did not falter and faced the lizardman an entire rank above her.

The old lizardman waved his hand and a massive blue sword appeared on it, he was about to attack when they heard another sound.

It sounded like a cane tapping the ground, another lizardman appeared out of thin air.

No it was a lizardwoman, she too had wrinkles and she was dressed in a long blue robe with dragons on it.

She was using a cane to balance herself but Ved knew that was a ruse, somebody with her power wouldn't need a cane to walk.

" Do you intend to stop me Rak'Tuli?" The old lizardman asked, the lizardwoman looked at Ved with kindness.

Then she turned her gaze to the old lizardman and sighed with pity.

" Oh Dear Rak'Sha, what happened to you? Do you not see how your actions will lead to the doom of our entire clan?" 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂

Rak'Sha's face scowled with rage, " It is you who is blind Rak'Tuli, out clan is already dying out.

We are getting weaker with each generation, Rak'Shaka is a miracle of our clan, he's the hope of our people."

Rak'Tuli shook her head, " You are still a hot headed old fool, do you truly believe the old ones will only place blame on you?

You say Rak'Shaka is the hope of our people, you are even willing to lay down your life for him.

Not tell me, how do you think the old ones with react if the one they've been waiting for since the great war dies by your hands.

This child is the hope of the entire beast race, should he perish, so would our entire clan, why can you not see that?"

She sounded frustrated now, the old lizardman gritted his teeth, her words seemed to get to him then he sighed.

" Enough chit chat old woman, if you do not get out of my way then do not blame me for what is coming."

His aura rose to the sky painting the world blue. Ved and Naledi felt a tremendous pressure on their shoulders.

A pressure of laws, Naledi was able to barely withstand it but Ved found himself stuck to the ground unable to move.

Rak'Tuli sighed, " Do you really wish for us to fight while the threat of the Yeti clan looms over our heads?" She asked as her own aura blasted out and pushed his away.

" Wait, did you say Yeti?" Naledi suddenly asked drawing the attention of everybody.
