Billionaire's Pleasure-Chapter 102: Remains The Same
Chris’s POV
Everything remains the same, no matter how long it’s been since your last visit. No matter how hard you try, you’ll never be able to avoid it. It didn’t matter how long it had been since it happened; I still loathed the fact that it had occurred. There were still some feelings of injustice in my heart. A little negative effect was felt by my business. Preoccupation with other things made me feel like a traitor. He’s also a traitor, which makes him a dangerous combination. In this respect, she was no different from any other model I’d worked with before. They were all in their early twenties and had some connection to my business as a model agency owner. However, she was still a virgin. She was also Tommy’s child. As a result, it wasn’t the same at all.
One thing was clear: it had no effect on my feelings for Tommy. She had not informed him of the situation yet, so he didn’t know. He had me on pins and needles every time I saw him, and I was on edge every time I saw him because I was afraid that he was going to say something bad, or that he was going to call me out.
The car that had been sent to pick me up at the airport did so, and I stepped out of it. For the first time in a long time, I was able to sleep through the night without having to get up numerous times in fear of the other shoe falling. After saying my goodbyes to the cab driver and entering the lobby, I felt relieved. Our headquarters were perched atop a gleaming skyscraper that could be seen from miles away.
"Chris." I squinted my eyes in the opposite direction. Tommy waved to me as he walked into the hotel lobby.
He could rely on Mia’s support. The thought of passing out in front of them made my stomach rumble, so I contemplated my best defense.
"Tommy, hello there." I nodded my head in agreement. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂
She smiled at me. She had a great smile and was undoubtedly pretty, but because of my anger, all I saw was the woman who had caused so much trouble for me earlier. Tommy hadn’t been notified yet, but the sneer on his face and the fact that he permitted me to approach his daughter within twenty feet didn’t suggest that things wouldn’t change. Having that vital piece of knowledge at her disposal made me nervous.
The problem was that she was seeing it as if it were a dream. Though we hadn’t seen one other since the fashion show, she had never been far from my mind. I didn’t care if it was because I was thinking about how she had harmed me and put my job at risk, or because she was different from the other women I’d dated. I couldn’t stop thinking about her.
I didn’t want to admit that I had thoughts about her from time to time. My thoughts were not occupied with the fact that she had betrayed my trust by not telling me who she was; instead, they focused on the value I placed on the things we had shared and how much I had believed it was worth at the time of our encounter. How highly I regarded her as a human being.
I inspected her thoroughly. She was stunning, to say the least. She had an hourglass body in every sense. Combination of breasts and ass in the right proportion. It was the first time any of the women we had been supporting had moved with such grace and elegance, and her hair was silky. Like the models I was used to working with, he wasn’t short and lanky like him. To highlight her deep-set eyes even further, she wore her hair back in a ponytail. It was because of her innocent, open face that a part of me wanted to do her again.
Someway, I had to take back the reins.
"Are you sure you don’t want to help me? What’s the matter?" Tommy inquired. I blinked when I saw him. In my mind, it had something to do with Mia, therefore I was tempted to say no. I’m not in this situation. I couldn’t help but touch my hands together.
"Please tell me what I can do to help."
As Tommy turned to face Mia, Mia’s gaze was fixed on me. I didn’t want her to. Because of her huge, liquid eyes, I was unsure of how I felt.
"Mia’s job search has been difficult since she obtained her degree. She was one of the talent managers I hired for our organization." Unfortunately, I won’t be able to stop by and see how she’s doing before I go to Paris later that day.
As he went to the side and drew me along with him, Moa trailed us by a few steps. As he spoke, he lowered his voice. Her sense of self-awareness is still developing, and as a result, she comes across as somewhat raw and naive. There’s no way Tommy could have known what an important role his tiny child played in this vast universe. "I was hoping you’d take her in, take care of her, and make sure she’s safe. For all these years, I’ve kept her out of the fashion world because, well, you know how it works. I trust you, and I know you’ll do what’s best for her."
I wasn’t quite sure about that, either. For all he knew, Tommy had no idea how his daughter would turn out. Even though she wasn’t the one getting into trouble, Tommy still couldn’t put his faith in me. I’m proud of what I’ve achieved. I chuckled and nodded in agreement. "There’s no doubt about it. I’ll make sure she’s aware of her current location."
Surely there was nothing further to say.
Tommy seemed happy and relieved as he grinned. "That you would save the day was my belief. You look like an uncle to her."
The fact that I didn’t is a blessing in disguise. We made our way back to Mia. Tommy’s face shone with happiness. I squinted my eyes at her and tried to make a smile appear on my face.
"Honey, don’t worry about missing a beat. Chris’s got you covered." Mia’s forehead was kissed by him as he got closer. I’d be happy to hear from you at any time. As he held her hand, she nodded. She appeared to be upset. What was her intention? Tommy made a hasty exit. When Mia and I were standing there, we had nothing to say to one another because our mouths were full with words.
She bent her head in submission. After pressing the call button, the elevator’s chrome door slid open quickly. Mia was the first to speak. I pursued it. When the doors closed, I realized how cramped the space was and how close we were to one another. Having seen her in such an intimate environment before, I would have given my right arm and left leg to be with her again. I was starting to become a little claustrophobic. It grew more and more difficult to breathe in the cramped elevator as we climbed each floor.
"I don’t appreciate what you did," I said when I couldn’t take any more silence.
"It wasn’t anything I did, but rather something we did together. " I fixed my gaze on her. My wrath had grown to a raging fever pitch by this point. "In my opinion, you could have made yourself known to me."
"If that were the case, you wouldn’t have been with me in bed."
As I shook my head, I remained focused on the task at hand. It was in your best interest to keep your distance from her. Despite my best efforts, I couldn’t help but fall in love with her. I craved an opportunity to vent my wrath in secret.
That’s the point I’m trying to get across.
We achieved what I and both of us wanted, therefore there aren’t any regrets.
What gave her the ability to be so careless? Because her career wasn’t in peril like mine was, she was able to relax. I took a brief glance her direction. To my surprise, she appeared calm and collected, the opposite of how I was feeling. Yelling to myself, I tried to explain away what I’d done by stating I’d been tricked. She was correct, but it wasn’t just her who had been responsible.
There was no sign of illness on her part. She exerted more influence than I did in the situation. We were in a relationship where I was the younger one. She was more seductive than ever. This world had nothing more enticing than a woman who was assured of her ambitions and radiated self-assurance and conviction.
Shit! I have no desire to have her. Unwise move. It’s impossible for me to feel this way about her. She was Tommy’s daughter. She was a teenager at the time. That woman was making me feel out of control. This isn’t going to happen. Upon reaching the ninth story, I was relieved to finally be able to leave her behind.
This cannot happen.
