Birthing Legends: My Womb Creates SSS Monsters-Chapter 69: After the Feast, the Golden Omen Appeared.
Maddy’s eyes flicked to the gestation sacs, the timer ticking steadily.
[00D : 22H : 00M : 00S]
Two hours had passed since the Mana Distortion, and she was reminded just how vast and unpredictable this world really was.
GROOOOOWL.
A sound like a distant earthquake erupted from the boys’ midsections. Yeah... this world really is unpredictable.
Sephiran and Arach froze, clutching their stomachs.
"I think the Hell Body burned all those frogs and dinosaur meats inside my body, Mother...I’m so hungry I could eat a... a... well, I would’ve eaten those worms, but I smashed them too hard!"
Arach nodded in agreement, his multiple arms gesturing dramatically.
"You’re right. We got too caught up in our games to even see them as food... Mother could’ve cooked them into a proper meal, even if they looked... ugly."
Maddy smirked, strolling toward the cavern’s kitchen area
.
"You really think your Mother doesn’t plan ahead? A mother is always prepared."
She pointed to the stone counters, neatly stacked with hundreds of Mineral Worms and Man Eater Worms.
Sephiran’s eyes practically turned into hearts.
"WHOA! WORMS!"
"Incredible foresight, Mother! But how did you...?!"
Arach’s mouth was already watering.
"When you two were busy counting your worms. I gathered as many as I could in my silk bag and secretly stored them underground then delivered them here. I wanted to make sure you’d have them ready before they became part of your worm count!"
Both boys shouted in unison, faces beaming.
"AMAZING, MOTHER!" 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
In an instant, Maddy’s hands glowed with a gentle Fire Element, igniting the grill.
"Sit down, both of you. Tonight, we feast. Tomorrow morning, before your siblings wake, you’ll join me to hunt and restock our food supplies."
The boys erupted in excitement.
"YES! MORE FIGHTING WITH MOTHER!"
"AND MORE MEAT!"
Maddy held up a finger, cutting through their shouting.
"Not fighting—gathering. We’re collecting food for all our family, not smashing things just to count the corpses again. Understood?"
Both nodded eagerly.
Maddy began cooking, carefully turning the hundreds of Mineral Worms and Man Eater Worms she had stored earlier. The boys hovered nearby, eyes wide and mouths watering, completely captivated by the process.
The sizzling of the grill filled the cavern, a simple sound that marked the start of a legendary feast. Maddy moved with the practiced grace of a survivalist gourmet, this time without her extra four arms yet still managing multiple tasks with astonishing efficiency.
Maddy’s eyes gleaming as she de shelled a Mineral Worm.
"Listen up, boys! Cooking is just another form of alchemy. You don’t just eat for fuel; you eat for the experience."
For the Dish 1: Charcoal Grilled Mineral Skewers. Maddy used her newly upgraded mineral worm traits to craft heat conductive skewers. She threaded thick chunks of Mineral Worm meat, which had the texture of high quality wagyu but was encased in a naturally salty, grit ;ike skin. She seared them over a high flame until the exterior crystallized into a savory, mineral rich crust.
For the Dish 2: Braised Man Eater Medallions in Corrosive Reduction. Using a bit of her own Foul Devourer Breath (diluted and neutralized with aromatic moss), she broke down the tough, fibrous muscle of the Man Eater Worms. She slow simmered them in a stone pot until the meat became so tender it practically dissolved.
"It’s ready!"
Sephiran and Arach didn’t need another invitation. The moment the words left her lips, they dove in headfirst.
"OHHHHHHHHHHH!"
The reaction was instantaneous. Sephiran’s mind exploded with imagery, as if he were being launched into a sea of molten gold. The crunchy mineral crust shattered against his teeth, unleashing a flood of savory, umami rich flavor that left him momentarily speechless.
Arach, meanwhile, was lost in his own world, surrounded by imaginary petals drifting around him. The Man Eater medallions were so tender, so perfectly cooked, that his six eyes rolled back in bliss.
Both boys slumped against the table, a single tear of joy trickling down their faces.
"Mother... I never would have imagined those ugly worms could taste this amazing when cooked with your divine skills!"
Sephiran gasped. Arach nodded furiously, chewing with unrestrained delight.
"Every part of these worms is astonishingly tasty! I can’t stop myself from putting them in my mouth even after I thrust them with my spear and swords earlier!"
After a satisfied round of burps, the three of them finally sank into the steaming hot springs. Steam curled around them like a living blanket, carrying the scent of mineral rich water and faint floral aromas from the crystals Maddy had grown along the walls.
Arach, with his six arms, was methodical, gently scrubbing Sephiran’s back while the little boy squirmed and giggled.
"Ah! That tickles, brother!"
Sephiran squealed, trying to wriggle free, but Arach’s careful grip kept him in place.
"You need to be clean. If you stay dirty, Mother won’t be the only one upset, me too!"
Maddy floated in her own private corner of the hot spring, letting the warm water embrace her in silence. She had already created a separate bath and hot spring area for the girls.
"Finally... peace..."
She was savoring the rare quiet. She had arranged everything so perfectly that she could barely hear the boys in the distance.
After several long minutes of scrubbing and soaking, she finally emerged from the water, steam trailing from her skin. The boys followed soon after, moving toward the beds Maddy had carefully crafted, their energy finally settling into calm.
The silky, bouncy surfaces molded perfectly to their forms, while hidden heat conductors hummed softly, sending warmth deep into muscles and bones.
"Ah..."
Sephiran yawned, flopping onto his bed with a contented sigh. He curled around Maddy, who was already settled comfortably. In the other bedroom, Arach slumped onto his bed like a massive spider.
"This... this feels like sleeping on molten clouds... though it’d be perfect if I had Mother’s side!"
Maddy stretched, letting the gentle heat and softness envelop her.
"Yes... this is life."
Within moments, all three of them were snoring, their quiet breaths mingling with the soft hum of the magical heat conductors—a peaceful, perfect end to a long day in their cave home.
Meanwhile, deep in the tunnels of Area 3, far behind the warm glow of their cavern, the air began to hum once more.
This time, it wasn’t violet. It wasn’t green. A single pinprick of light appeared on the cavern floor, growing slowly, shimmering with a pure, radiant gold...
