Bizarre Realm-Chapter 456 - 55: My Turn! Still My Turn!
The sky was awash with a spurt of inky blood.
The Blade Dancer seemed to have some immunity to physical damage in this state. Even though its body was hacked into pieces, it still had the strength to launch a counterattack. The severed limbs appeared to congeal automatically like ink, and there were no fatal weaknesses anywhere on its body. Even when beheaded, it could somehow regrow its head.
It was, in essence, a painting.
The Blade Dancer’s body was drawn with ink, twisted into an energy-like state.
— Ordinance: Death (9th-level Spell)!
But Shawn would not give it another chance. The invisible death energy directly locked onto the target, as it had entered Shawn’s kill threshold. Ignoring its resistance, with Shawn’s hand forming a fist, the remaining life force of the Blade Dancer was instantly stripped away.
As long as it wasn’t immune to instant death spells and had less than a hundred points of life force, the ordinance death could directly erase its life.
Echoes of soul wails resounded.
Different from the last time when Ms. Hecate killed the Blade Dancer, this time when its body dissolved into ink and dissipated, countless souls flew out from it. Last time, Ms. Hecate killed the Blade Dancer’s projection, while this time, Shawn killed its main body. Thousands of souls gushed from the remaining blood-red ink; they were the curse-bound spirits filled with hatred and pain. Some had been bound within the Blade Dancer’s body for nearly a thousand years.
The surrounding paintings began to burn, and in the turbulence of space, the indescribable, ludicrous Painted Realm gradually faded away, with part of its essence converging in the Blade Dancer’s remains, leaving behind a puddle resembling hallway graffiti.
This was its left-behind Extraordinary Relic, seemingly containing a fragment of a world within the painting.
Everything was fading and losing color. When Shawn and his group returned to reality, they still stood at the entrance of the reading room, but all the paintings hanging on the walls had turned to ash, and the remaining frames contained the monster’s leftover Extraordinary Relics, which were a kind of inky substance emitting an unsettling polluting aura.
"Seize the Knowledge Law from the target!"
"Plunder the domain of [Painting]."
"Your skill in crafts (drawing) has increased by 99 points, and your knowledge in (engineering and construction) by 20 points."
"Master Spell Ability [Projection Technique] (cast freely)."
"Seize Domain Law [True Mirror Image] (undigested)."
"All your illusion series spell effects are enhanced. The shadows and mirror images you summon will possess some physical capabilities, and all objects created with illusion techniques can temporarily be transformed into physical forms."
"Specific spell enhancement—Mirage. The mirages you create will transform into temporary real painted realm worlds."
"Specific spell enhancement—Simulation Technique. The simulations you create will possess all physical traits."

After seizing the Law Origin from the enemy, Shawn realized that the Blade Dancer had not fully utilized the full potential of this domain.
Clearly, only a Mage could truly unleash the complete power of this domain.
The Blade Dancer’s abilities were evidently skewed towards those of an Assassin, possessing some assassin-type illusion techniques at most. However, its casting ability was not strong, and it couldn’t summon that many illusions. If it were a legitimate Master of Illusion, who knows how many true mirror-image monsters they would have to face.
The painting domain seems to be able to materialize illusions. Even Shawn’s casually cast Mirror Image Technique could temporarily form a physical entity. If you equipped them with Purgatory Roar, it would truly be a one-man army in an instant.
As for the freely casting Projection Technique, Shawn needs to go back and study it some more, as the Blade Dancer is one of the easier fantasies to invade other planes.
It seems capable of penetrating the barriers of space laws.
