Part 21: Baby Mafia vs. Kaminari-Kai

The air inside the Tensai-kai hideout turned electric as Marco's announcement sank in.

"The Kaminari-kai hit one of our warehouses?" Leo asked, his jaw tightening.

"Yeah," Marco confirmed. "And they didn't just hit it. They leveled it. Explosives, fire-whatever they could do to send a message, they did it."

Dante groaned. "I hate dramatic people. It's our job to be dramatic, not theirs."

Leo cracked his knuckles, his newfound abilities still humming beneath his skin. "Then let's return the favor."

Hiroshi nodded. "I agree. But we need to be smart about it. Kaminari-kai is unpredictable. They fight like a lightning storm-fast, violent, and impossible to contain."

Dante smirked. "Good thing I love storms."

Marco handed out weapons, but Leo hesitated. His body was moving before his brain even made decisions lately. If he held a gun or a knife, would he end up hurting someone before thinking?

"Here," Marco said, tossing Leo a metal baton instead. "Until we know how to control your baby mafia superpowers, maybe don't carry something stabby."

Leo rolled his eyes. "It's not superpowers."

Dante patted his shoulder. "It absolutely is."

Warehouse 47 – Kaminari-kai Territory

The warehouse still smoldered from the attack. The air was thick with the scent of burned wood and metal. The Tensai-kai crew moved like shadows, slipping into position around the ruins.

"Two guards at the front, three on the side," Hiroshi whispered. "I bet the rest are inside, celebrating."

Dante grinned. "Shall we crash the party?"

Leo exhaled, focusing. The moment he did, something inside him clicked. Time slowed. He could see the Kaminari guards' movements before they made them.

One of the front guards shifted his weight

Before the guard could react, Leo was already in front of him, striking his baton across the guy's jaw. The second guard barely had time to blink before Leo spun, slamming the baton into his gut.

Both men crumpled without a sound.

Dante blinked. "Holy"

Hiroshi raised an eyebrow. "Interesting."

Marco whispered, "Did he just... dodge the future?"

Leo shook off the weird feeling crawling up his spine. "Less talking, more fighting."

They slipped inside.

Inside the Warehouse

The Kaminari-kai thugs were definitely celebrating. Drinks, music, laughter it was almost insulting.

Dante smirked. "I love ruining parties."

Leo had already locked onto the biggest guy in the room. He could see how this fight would go. The moment he stepped forward, that guy would throw a punch Leo would duck, sweep his leg, then

Move.

The future vision flashed through Leo's mind, and before he even realized it, he was already dodging. He spun, kicked a chair into someone's stomach, then used his baton to knock another guy out.

Dante whistled. "Damn, Baby Mafia is on fire."

The rest of the team jumped in, and the warehouse exploded into chaos. Marco took out two guys with brutal efficiency. Dante, always the show-off, flipped over a table, knocking a thug unconscious with his knee. Hiroshi? He just stared at someone, and they backed off.

Leo was everywhere at once-because he already knew what would happen before it did.

The fight lasted less than two minutes.

When the dust settled, the Kaminari thugs were groaning on the ground, completely wrecked.

Leo stood there, breathing hard. His hands trembled slightly. He'd moved too fast. Reacted too perfectly.
