One moment she was standing, and the next moment she was laying in bed with large arms caged around her waist.

He had lifted her off the floor by the waist, then laid her down on the bed before laying down next to her after pulling up the blankets to cover them both. By the time he had done all this, Anne’s eyes were still wide in shock because she hadn’t expected it.

They were facing each other on the bed and he was hugging her with their bodies really close, a sweet flutter suddenly traveled from her chest to every part of her body leaving tingles everywhere their bodies were currently touching. From her toes where their feet were touching each other’s, up her thighs where his thigh grazed hers, to her waist where his arms circled her, then to their foreheads where he laid his against her. She felt it everywhere.

"Am I going to sleep here?" She suddenly broke the silence by asking this question, they didn’t usually sleep in the same bed and with him holding her like this it felt like she might not be able to fall asleep because of all these sensations his light touch was making her feel.

"What else did you think, I made you lie here as a preview?" He queried sarcastically.

"No, I just thought that I would be getting my own room." Anne muttered and when he suddenly moved back to look in her face, she immediately regretted saying it out loud.

"You don’t like sleeping next to me?" He whispered the question and his warm breath made her skin burn hot.

"No, that’s not what I mean." Anne quickly blurted to rectify what she said.

"So that means you do like sleeping next to me." As he said this, she saw his lips quirk upwards in a satisfied smirk.

She suddenly realized she might have indeed insinuated that, and cunning as he was, he had turned the words around on her and she couldn’t even deny it.

Anne opened her mouth and closed it not knowing what to say.

He relaxed again, closing his eyes and pulling her to his chest.

"If you like it so much then stay, I won’t make you pay a fine for sleeping in my bed."

Anne had no choice but to quietly relax against him. He sighed satisfactorily once she did.

The silence that came after was warm yet charged with something delicate, a bond growing stronger with every second. She could hear his breathing grow steady and Anne looked up in surprise at how fast and easy it was for him to fall asleep. She had no idea that she was the very reason it was so easy for him to fall asleep this effortlessly.

She stared at his handsome face, his every hard feature relaxed in this moment and a slow smile curved her lips.

"Goodnight Andrew." She whispered very softly before giving herself the liberty to wrap her arms around him and laid her head to his chest, listening to the sound of his heartbeat as it lulled her to sleep.

In Verizon, the moment the sun rose that morning and employees arrived at SE, the news that had been going around the whole city immediately became the topic of everyone’s conversation.

"I saw the news too, the CEO admitted that he’s a married man and he has a wife now."

"No way, do you think that news is actually real? I saw it too but I couldn’t believe it."

"The news came from very reliable sources, it wouldn’t have gone on tv broadcast by the country’s best tv channels if it was fake. The source said CEO Sterling is very passionate about his wife, he talked about her as if she was the queen of his universe."

"This is actually making me doubt it because we all know that CEO Sterling is indifferent to women right, how did he suddenly get married?"

"The question you should be asking is what legendary woman managed to make him fall in love. I would have assumed ten years from now, CEO Sterling would still be single but all of a sudden he got married, it’s so shocking!"

Several employees moved in clusters of threes or fours just to have this conversation among each other.

Now that the news was already out, all that was left was for the Sterling family to reveal who CEO Sterling had married. However, this big news was yet to be digested when another hit them squarely.

Pictures were spreading online of Gabriel Sterling spotted at the marriage registration office with a mysterious woman whose face was blurred in the pictures, clearly the photos were posted with the knowledge of Gabriel or the woman with him otherwise her face wouldn’t have been blurred so deliberately.

The whole company that was supposed to be focused on work were now rocked by these mind-blowing news they had been seeing.

One morning they get the news that Andrew Sterling was secretly married and the very next, they hear about Gabriel Sterling getting married as well? Why were the Sterling sons so quickly snatched off the market and who were these mysterious women.

Gabriel’s marriage caused people to be shocked only because of how notorious he was with the ladies, if Andrew was the number one on the list of men who were never thought to get married, then Gabriel was second.

Many employees took to analyzing the pictures released of Gabriel and his supposedly new bride in hopes of at least cracking the woman’s identity. If they couldn’t find out who Andrew’s wife was, they could at least find out the identity of Gabriel’s bride.

They went as far as using lunch break to assemble themselves, breaking down the woman’s fashion style and body proportions, if she was a model, celebrity or anyone they’d seen before be it in real life or television, they would be able to find out her identity. However, half of lunch break passed by and they still hadn’t decided the woman’s identity.

The image showed Gabriel and the woman next to him, holding hands as they walked out of the marriage registration office, in Gabriel’s left hand, it could be seen that he was holding documents that were obviously their marriage license.

The energy began to wane because all the guesses led to a few models Gabriel might have dated in the past, but when the employees dug deep, something would always be off. The woman in the picture with Gabriel was definitely not one of his exes, so who was she?

"Guys, I found an app that can clear off the blur and show the face of the person in the picture." One of the girls at the table suddenly exclaimed while looking at her phone.

"Really, is the app even credible?" Someone asked.

"Of course we’ll only know if we try it out." The girl said while hurriedly uploading the photos they’d been analyzing for almost an hour, everyone leaned over her shoulder to look.

A circle went round and round on the screen showing that the image was loading and everyone looked on in anticipation as the image slowly began to grow clearer, and the clearer it became, the more familiar the face of the woman in the picture became.

"What?! Am I seeing things or is this really...?" Someone exclaimed with a totally flabbergasted expression.

"You’re not seeing things, this is really her! Guys, Gabriel Sterling is married to Clara Hastings!"
