Building My Guild With A Blank Scroll-Chapter 95: Reborn
Chapter 95: Reborn
*SCRATCH!
A dagger scratch the wall, the hand around it returning it to it’s hold.
"That’s another day as Entrance Guards— great!"
"You make it sound that bad, Ral. Even though it’s not." Colin stated, stepping through the open mansion gates with Dan beside him.
"Hah, for you it’s a promotion and a dream come true. I’m a Pseudo— General remember, not a gatekeeper." Ral scoffed, taking the stairs which led on top of the gates.
"You’re a Rank 1 brother, make sure to be adding that up from time to time." Colin retorted, taking no damage from the other’s though his had struck a nerve.
"Hey, I’m still way above you— a good ten ranks."
"Yeah, we get it so tell the hawk eyes back there the same thing. Can’t believe a single rank below makes you that pitiful— hah!"
"Tsk!" Dan muttered, his eyes glued on the open scroll he held.
"You, I’m not a bootlicker."
"Nobody said so, you’re just revealing it yourself brother." Colin shrugged, leaning towards the side of the wall.
"Hah, you’re unbelievable. Yet, Dan chooses to support you. Tav would have always..." Ral fell silent, staring down from the wall top as all three didn’t speak a word.
"I’m not supporting anyone and you two should cut it out with the argues already— if Tav were here, held be beating you two up before I could." Dan stated, closing the map and tucking it away after removing his gauntlet.
"I’ll be heading out to check around once again." He added.
"You do that each day and night, yet all you ever find are trails leading nowhere." Colin said.
"Maybe there’s something I might have been overlooking, it had to come from somewhere. Did you see it’s sheer size? Any other like it wouldn’t be hidden for long, unless..." He pressed on, seemingly now in deep thoughts about it.
"There’s no stopping you, I’ll cover for you anyways." Colin assured.
"Thanks Brother. Ral?" The other gave him a brief nod and in a matter of minutes. Dan was off and soon disappeared into the forest.
"Colin?"
"No."
"At least hear me out, it’s—"
"It’s nothing, I’m not going to be the one standing here for all the period of your punishments."
"You make it sound like it’s my fault we’re here."
"Are you serious right now?"
"I know you guys decided to help me out, but you’re the expert here brother."
"Hah, the expert."
"So, you what? You’ll cover for m—"
"No."
"Oh come on!"
"You’re staying here with me whether you like it or not. Shouldn’t you be out of those scrolls by n—"
"Colin, we have an incoming." Ral’s expression suddenly turned into a serious one, quickly draw out his bow and grabbing an arrow.
Down below, Colin could see dust rising from afar and from the amount alone— he could tell the number.
"It’s only one, what colour are we talking about here, Ral?" Colin’s hands went to his swords.
Above, Ral’s ears twitched as he listened intently having a good ear as an archer knight and the enchantment of being a spiritualist.
’No growls— it’s hooves!’ He could catch that whatever approached, was galloping. "It’s a green!" As he informed, he relaxed the bow string, while Colin’s removed one hand from his swords.
"We have a solo rider, let’s hope it’s something good."

"MOTHER!!!" He could see the barely lifeless body before him, slowly getting paler than earlier
"Somebody!! Anybody!! Save her!! Please save her!!" He called out, getting no reply.
*BA—
"Ack!" All of a sudden, a shock went through him and struck his senses.
*DUMMP!
Zlatan shot up with a start, gasping for air as his eyes darted around unable to get his surroundings.
"Where am I? Where am I?" Everywhere was dark and void, unable to see anything except the inky blackness.
[!High Level Taint Detected!]
A screen construct suddenly appeared before him, glowing dark red and blaring.
"What’s this?"
[!High Level Taint Detected!]
[!High Level Taint Detected!]
"What’s happening?"
[!High Level Taint Detected!]
The same screens appeared all over, filling the void with the blares deafening.
"Stop it! Stop it! Stop it!!!"
*NOOOO!!!

*HUFF!
*HUFF!
Zlatan’s eyes flattered open, gasping for air as he stared at the ceiling. He found it hard to breathe, his breathing heavy as he could feel something weighty on him. ƒrēenovelkiss.com
"Haa!" Using his hands, he went to pull himself up yet he found himself touching something silky. It wasn’t the sheets and he could tell, as it felt like hair. Raising his hand, he wore a puzzled look upon seeing the silver strands he barely recognized.
"Is this real?" Wherever he’d been or whatever he’d seen earlier, seemed to have left him disoriented. Following the strands, the hair led to him but raising his head a bit, his eyes widened.
"Alicia?" He mumbled, his words waking her up as she moved.
"Mmm, that felt goood." Alicia slowly sat up and stretched her arms wide, her eyes opening and revealing a pair of darkened emeralds.
"This... isn’t real." He reminded himself, trying not to run a scan of the unclad body before him.
*YAWN!
"Big brother is awake? How was your night big brother?" She asked, receiving no reply from Zlatan who simply stared at her.
"Huh? Are you okay, big brother?" She tilted her head to the side a bit.
"You’re naked?" The words escaped his lips, as those set of words seemed to have reached her core. For he couldn’t tell how, yet the heaviness in the atmosphere suddenly disappeared.
*AHHHHH!!
°°°
"Huh?" A figure in a white and black uniform holding a tray of new sheets, stopped in her tracks. Humming to herself, she’d seemed to have heard something yet listening in— there was nothing.
"Well, la-la laa di-di da. Mm mmm mm." Resuming with her hum, she turned the knob of the door, pushed it open and stepped in.
"Good morning, Madam..."
*CRASH!
The tray fell from her hands and crashed onto the ground, her hands going to cover her mouth in shock.
’What— what happened here?’ Her eyes scanned the room, seeing everywhere in a total mess, from the wrecked bed to the crashed window.
"Madam!" Her eyes finally landed on the figure on the ground around the corner.
"Madam! Madam!" Quickly, she rushed towards her as fast as she could, grabbing one of the sheets.
"Madam!" She went to cover her, as the figure before her seemed to wake up.
"Madam! Are you alright, Madam? Madam?" Her brows furrowed, slightly confused by the smile up the other’s face.
"I’ve never been better." Her pair of obsidians had a glimmer in them. "I frickin feel reborn!"
"Eh?"
