Building My Guild With A Blank Scroll-Chapter 94: BA— DUMMP
Chapter 94: BA— DUMMP
"Alicia?"
"Mm?"
"Can you get her tucked in for me?" Zlatan said, waiting for a reply yet only noticing her staring at him blankly.
"Is everything alright?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Huh, oh um yeah. I’ll— I’ll get Belle to bed." She stuttered, reaching for the door knob.
"Thanks alot." He watched as the two stepped into the room and shut the door behind them.
*HAA!
Zlatan exhaled deeply, his exhaustion evident. "I’d better—" He had now turned in the other direction, his eyes going past the door a inches away to the other one.
’Mother’s room. What was he doing there? I thought he’d disappeared with his so called mistress out of our lives.’ He thought to himself, taking light and weak steps forward.
’Why is he back here? No one wants or needs a father like him, he doesn’t even think or dares to behave like one either- despicable.’ His resent was pure as soon he was at the door leading into his room, about turning the knob, something his senses.
It was sharp, metallic and familiar smell he could tell from a mile away, having spent decades dealing with things related to it. ’Blood! It’s strong, too strong!’ For what he could sense was the amount of blood comparable to a full room of corpses.
’No!’ Zlatan found himself dashing towards the next door as fast as he could. ’Mother!’
Without a second thought, he barged into the room. Yet with just a single step in, he slipped, crashing down hard in a thick liquid substance.
*ARGH!
He groaned, not able to tell whether it had been a fleeting moment or he’d just awoken after being knocked out. Going to rub the wet liquid off his face, he found himself adding more. "What’s thi-" Everything came back to his as the strong copper scnt of blood hit his nostrils.
"Mother!" He called out, his eyes darting around in the dark room as his poor vision in the dark only had him seeing a few inches away. Behind his was the door and in the other directions, he didn’t find himself in a pool but rather a sea of blood.
"Mother!" He called out again, still not receiving any form of reply. Zlatan quickly decided to find her by himself as, to him all this blood didn’t have that of his father.
Does moving through the red sea and crawling in a random direction, east from the door he soon found himself nearing a wall. Thus, changing the direction to the opposite of it, he headed west.
"Mother!" He tried calling out to her again and this time round, a reply though faint and barely audible was heard.
"Mother, Mother, Mother." Panting, he was fast to move towards the sound and as he drew closer, he instantly froze. "Mo-mo-mother?"
Before him, still bleeding out was who he was told to be his mother, being in the worse state he’d ever seen since waking up here. From head to toe, there wasn’t a part of her which hadn’t been deformed. Her legs had been cracked forward to face each other, with one of her legbones sticking out of the tattered blood red gown she wore. It was evident the bone had come out, and as if that wasn’t enough and rather the beginning. There was a hole punched through her stomach, most of the organs smashed while her upper body had the bones of forming her ribs, now sticking out.
’Father did– he did this.’ Tears involuntarily, streamed down his face unable to believe how she’d been battered down like a beast. "WHY?!!!" This time round, he screamed his heart out, unaware of the runes or and caring less about anything else.
"Ple— ple—ple—ase, ha—ha—"
"Mother?" Zlatan’s gaze landed on her face, noticing her wide open eyes fixated above. Her mouth was gaping, one could only wonder how she was breathing. Yet, that seemed to be the least of her problems compared to what she wanted to say.
"Mother, we— you’ll— you have to— you have to conserve your energy and stay conscious." He had quickly gotten by her side, urging her to stop speaking, si trying to use her voice only worsened the bleeding from her lungs.
"Pl— ple—p—p—" Her eyes were slowly fading, the life flowing away with the gushing blood.
"No— no— no, this can’t be happening. Mother! Noo! Please! I— I never got to meet you, please do leave— please, Mother!" The tears seemed to flow endlessly, as he sat there unable to think of a way. Having nothin to, or knowing no one who would help.
"Noo!! Someone, anyone! Please don’t let her die!! Please!! Help me!! Please!!"
[...]
A transparent interface appeared before him despite his shut eyes, being as clear as day and having three dots alone. His eyes flipping open involuntarily, he could still see it. "What’s happe—"
*BA—
Whatever had done this, that he couldn’t tell and how it was happening remained a mystery. For in a split-secondsplit-second, time had paused and he could clear see it in that fleeting moment.
*DUMMP!
*THUD!
In a heartbeat, Zlatan was down on the ground with his pair of obsidians faded out, and drained down to having only a spec of life remaining. As barely a blink of an eye had passed yet, he was now closer to death than his mother.
However, still hovering above him, the interface could be seen.
[Restoring Gem Forcefully Activated]
The interface read, when suddenly it changed, with it now glowing a dark red.

[!High Taint Level Detected!]
Meanwhile, the same thing had abruptly popped up before the numerous screens, Ino was currently observing.
"High Taint? What’s happening here?" Ino wore a puzzled look up her face, currently having taken a humanlike image of a fair snow-haired beauty.
"Ominiscencia, track the source of this." The moment she finished speaking, another pop-up appeared, a map with a glowing white and black dot on a place she recognized.
"The— the— the Elmore Mansion?! How? Ominiscencia what’s happening?" This time round, she didn’t get the usual instant knowledge about it but rather, the map had zoomed in through the mansion. freewebnoveℓ.com
As soon, she found herself in a room full of blood and two figures she recognized. Although what caught the attention was the hovering body of Zlatan.
"He’s — he’s, no this can’t be possible!" Ino gasped, staring at his open eyes of which barely had any life in them.
"What’s that?" A bright light could be seen, and it came from none other than his heartcore.
"Ominiscencia, can you please tell me what’s happening here already? Zlatan can’t die, you hear me! He can’t!" No reply came, as if she’d been left to figure it out by herself. Instead the, pop up from earlier came again.
[!Restoring Gem Cleansing Initiating!]
"Those words again, what’s a restoring gem— is there something I wasn’t told about here?"
[Initiation Successful]
"Eh?" Ino’s gaze went back to the, live feed when at the moment it came to view, a sharp an intense amount of light invaded her senses.
*AHHHH!!
"Mastar, are you seeing what I’m seeing?" The gray sphere asked, seated on the hovering larger sphere of light with his eyes glowing electrum.
"It depends whether you have another Lord somewhere."
"Eh?"
"Well, you’re asking me such a question and you expect an answer."
"Ah ow, yeah— I kinda forgot."
"All my creations end up forgetting me, just because I decided to give them a will."
"I—I—di—"
"No, Mastar. Please don’t say that." Two giant figures in armour which stood beside the doors, said aloud. Their gazes landing on that of Ominis, as an icy chill went right through him.
"I’m— I’m sorry, I’m sorry, My Lord. I’m sorry, please— please have mercy and forgive me."
"You’re forgiven, and now don’t bother with him. Everything is in control."
"Thank you— Thank you, and I will trust your words, My Lord."
"Ah, now how is Yuk faring there?"
"Um, well..."
The vast grassland was green, the sky blue with the sun dancing around in it. On the hill, as the gentle wind blew, a large figure could be seen staring at the bright sky, while another approached from behind.
"Big Brother?" The voice of Alicia could be heard as she drew closer, her hands hidden at her back.
Catching her voice, the figure turned with Zlatan’s voice being heard.
"Ally?" She immediately looked down, hiding away her flushed face.
Failing to notice when he’d gotten closer, she felt a hand being placed on her head. Ruffling her sliver hair the next second. "What’s wrong?"
"Um, well I—" She was hesitant for a moment, soon gathering the courage and as her hands left her back, she spoke.
"I made you a Sand—" Alicia’s brain short-circuited, her eyes widening for the face she was staring at wasn’t that of Zlatan. Rather it was one she recognized, and hadn’t seen for a while now.
"Mother?"
All of a sudden Alicia’s eyes flattered open, her gaze landing on the face of Belle who was fast asleep. Quickly, she sat up as right before her was a feminine figure in white, smile warmly.
"Alicia, it’s time."
"But— but— mother, I don’t think I’m ready."
"Don’t worry, you were born ready." The figure was standing beside her in seconds, a hand stretched towards her. "Now come, my dear."
"Mm."
