By Seeing Beasts' Training Paths, My Beast Became Invincible-Chapter 42: You shouldn’t watch, my sister
’’It’s too late.’’ Rocky smirked.
In an instant, thick strands of drool dangling from the ceiling began dropping onto the group uncontrollably.
They wiped the viscous drool from their faces and looked up, their expressions frozen in bewilderment.
A monstrous cat was giggling and clinging to the ceiling—its colors quickly shifting from the ceiling’s white to its original shade.
Yes, Matt had camouflage thanks to his skill.
The patchy fur... now they could clearly see its immense and terrifying shape.
They rooted to the spot for a moment at the horrifying sight—a devilish monster they had never seen before.
Their beasts quickly returned to their true forms and they began to scatter, but it was too late.
Matt had been waiting for this moment for a long time. He leapt down, spreading his claws and widening his maw toward Rita, who was running in fear.
’’N-No... Ahhhhhhhh!’’ Rita screamed in panic as the gigantic maw, lined with countless jagged teeth, stretched wide toward her.
’’Help me... Big bro!’’
Tch. It was too late... Just half a second later, Matt had already devoured her, ignoring the deafening screams of his prey.
William, who had been training with his beast, frowned. He was completely caught off guard by what had just happened.
He activated his skill, dragonfly wings bursting out behind him. He and his gigantic dragonfly shot toward Matt at lightning-fast speed.
He was ready to throw a punch, his fist covered in a beetle-like carapace reminiscent of Dynastes hercules.
Yet Bobby suddenly appeared in front of Matt and summoned a gigantic shield.
William frowned when he saw the second beast, but he didn’t slow down. With a gauntlet made from the hardest carapace of the insect species and the immense momentum built from the fastest speed among them—he believed nothing could withstand his blow.
Bang!
Bobby’s shield shattered into pieces under the impact. The aftershock made Bobby stumble several steps before crashing into the wall of the room.
William shot a cold glance at Matt and Rocky before preparing for another charge.
Rocky clicked his tongue.
(Indeed, he’s very strong. I can’t beat him.)
Rocky spoke up.
’’Prince, I think you should stop if you want your sister alive.’’
He pointed at the mantis in the distance.
William frowned, but this time he forced himself to calm down. If his little sister had really died, her beast would have already been sent back to the beast world.
Rocky smirked.
’’But her life is in my hands. If you irritate me, I can’t guarantee your sister will remain unharmed.’’
William sighed, veins beginning to bulge across his forehead. He spoke coldly.
’’What do you want, Cousin...? I think you should stop this... You don’t need to push things this far.’’
’’If this is about your sister... I’m sorry. There was some bullying, but it never got that serious.’’
Nicole spoke nervously.
’’That’s right, bro... You don’t need to go this far for me... If you—’’
’’Be quiet.’’ Rocky sighed and added coldly.
Nicole immediately fell silent and lowered her head. She gulped, fear rising in her chest. She could feel the anger radiating from Rocky.
She had made him mad.
Rocky spoke.
’’How much do you know about me, Prince?’’
William frowned.
’’Not much. Just that your mother is my father’s sister. And I know your parents died saving the world... and what happened to your clan.’’
Rocky clicked his tongue.
’’Then you should know one thing—how much I love my siblings. My big sister is on the brink of death. I don’t even know if she’ll survive. And now... I only have one sister left. Only one.’’
’’Do you know how furious that makes me?’’
He added coldly,
’’You should feel lucky the bullying never went too far. Otherwise, your sister would’ve already died the moment my beast devoured her.’’
One of the underlings yelled in anger.
’’Bastards! Don’t think my King will spare you if you kills the princess. All of you... Hahahahaha.’’
Rocky sighed and glanced at the man indifferently.
The next moment, he burst into laughter, confusing everyone.
’’Do you know why I can make a deal with your King? Because I’m your cousin...? No.’’
’’It’s because I know him very well. What kind of person he is... and always has been. To him, his children are nothing but tools. As long as I pay him a proper price, even if I kill one of his children, it’s not a big deal.’’
He chuckled.
’’Do you agree... Cousin?’’
Willam scowled in discomfort. He wanted to refuse, but why should he deny something that was always true?
Their father had always been ready to sell them off—even kill them—if the price was right. And he didn’t believe there was anything in this world that could become that price.
He wondered what Rocky would offer for their father to kill the princess...
He sighed.
He shouldn’t be curious about that.
’’You’re right. What do you want? I’ll do it... within my limits.’’
Rocky shrugged and pointed at Rital’s underlings.
’’Not much. Kill all of them with your own hands.’’
Rital’s underlings widened their eyes in shock. They trembled as they looked at the prince in fear.
One of the underlings yelled in anger.
’’Bastard!’’
He rushed toward Rocky with clear intent, but half a second later, he turned into a mist of blood.
William slowly stepped forward.
A pitch-black beetle carapace swiftly materialized over his body.
’’Aaaaaaahhhhh!’’
One of the men screamed as a gigantic dragonfly chewed on his head.
Some of them began to run, but sharp, massive horns from the void pierced through them like chunks of meat on metal skewers.
Hercules beetles stomped Rital’s underlings as if they were nothing but small ants.
Sobs mixed with screams echoed through the training room as William and his beasts slaughtered everyone.
’’You shouldn’t watch, my sister.’’
Nicole’s eyes were filled with tears as she gazed at Rocky. Then she burst into sobs and embraced him tightly.
She didn’t even know what to say at this moment.
