Celestial Speed: Legacy-Chapter 74: Busted
That night, Henry laid on his bed after dinner and a game of chess with Felicity, they seemed to have a lot in common and bonded quite well. He was staring deeply at a contact info displayed on the bracelet’s holographic screen, it was Alicia’s.
His fingers hovered over the screen for a very long time, before he made up his mind. "Nope, definitely not," he shook his head. "After what i said, she probably hates me now. And it’s best to stay away for now... Fuck, i wonder what Jane would do to me," Henry muttered, trying his best to deny what was right in front of him. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
"But what exactly is this challenge she’s facing?" he pondered. "I should ask mum later, maybe she has some idea," Henry said and turned of the bracelet screen, before grabbing an holotab that laid beside him. One that had a particular piece of information on it, with the heading "Training Schedule"
He read through the information carefully before dropping the tablet and letting out a loud sigh. "Yep, mum’s officially the worst coach ever," he lamented and closed his eyes, seemingly trying to think of a way to skip training.
But before any thought could come into mind, his bracelet ringed with a notification. Henry grumbled in discontent and opened the bracelet’s interface.
"Whatever this is better be good, or i swear i’ll..." Henry paused seeing the cause of the notification, it was a message. A message from Alicia.

The next morning, Henry woke up very early. He got up and put on a tracksuit, not even sparing the time to freshen up, he put on a pair of gym shoes and left the room. Today was a saturday, so he was free to do whatever he pleased.
Henry walked quietly out of his room and moved very swiftly and stealthily through the house, before finally arriving at the main door.
He sighed in releif and pushed the button that opened the giant doors. The doors made a soft sliding sound and it opened gently, revealing the great outdoors of freedom.
Henry didn’t wait for the doors to open completely, before dashing out of the building, sprinting through the stairs and finally leaving the building premises.
He began to walk towards the gates of the mansion, another obstacle in his path. But before he could think of taking another step, he heard a voice, one he hadn’t expected to hear at all.
"And where do you think you’re going?" Emily asked from behind him. She was wearing a purple tracksuit and white sneakers, complimenting her white hair.
Henry sighed and turned to face her. "Dear sister, it’s such a fine morning isn’t it?" he asked with an innocent smile.
Emily raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms, she clearly understood what Henry was trying to do. "First, don’t call me that. And second, you didn’t answer my question, where are you going?" she retorted sharply, letting Henry know that she meant business.
"I was just going out for a jog, is all," Henry said, still wearing his innocent smile.
"You mean, you were just going to an hunting ground?" Emily stated with a frown
Henry retained his smile, but on the inside, he was panicking. "Crap! How the fuck did she know?" he pondered, knowing that he had been blown. Henry had truly planned on going to an hunting ground in the city, one not far from the mansion. He knew he wasn’t allowed to go anywhere without Felicity’s permit and she obviously won’t let him go to hunting.
Long story short, he tried sneaking out and now, he had been caught, but it was all part of his plan anyways.
"I do not know what you mean, sister. Such grounds are forbidden for me, I would never break mother’s laws," Henry stated playfully, with a shocked facade.
But Emily wasn’t buying any of it, she knew that Henry had ulterior motives. "Yeah, I’m gonna pretend like you didn’t just speak the way you did, and do you know what I’m also gonna do?" she asked with a mischievous grin
Henry shook his head, he didn’t know what Emily could be capable of doing, but he knew one thing; whatever it is, it won’t sit well for him.
"I’m gonna tell mum," she said with a scoff, proving to Henry that he was definitely screwed.
But before Henry could open his mouth to speak, another voice drifted into his ears, it was like Emily’s, but more mature.
"Tell me what?" Felicity asked
Henry was dumbstruck, but not because Felicity’s voice had come out of nowhere,it was rather because it had come from above.
He and Emily raised their heads to look up, only to see Felicity, floating... No, standing comfortably on the atmosphere. She was wearing her night gown, her hair was roughed up, and she was staring at the sibling duo, curiously.
She directed her gaze at Emily and spoke. "Emily, honey, what’s going on?" she asked with an intrigued expression.
Emily flashed a smirk at Henry, clearly hinting at the fact that she was going to snitch. But Henry was too busy to care anymore, he was busy being shocked.
"Hold up, i’m i the only one seeing that she’s suspended in air?" he voiced out in surprise. And another shocking thing was, Emily didn’t look surprised at all.
Felicity blinked, before letting out a slight chuckle. "Oh! Don’t worry about this Henry, it’s like an hobby," she said with a smile
But Henry was still confused. "Standing on the atmosphere is an hobby?" he asked
"Oh, no no. You see, every morning when i wake up, i head out to the sun, to admire her beauty upclose before coming back to begin the day. So yeah, i’m just coming back from the sun," she stated casually.
Henry’s mouth was wide open, saying he was shocked would be an understatement. He was more than stunned, he was losing his mind.
"Wait, you mean like, the sun? The actual fucking sun!" he exclaimed loudly. He already believed it because he knew Felicity never joked with things like this.
Felicity nodded. "Yes, it’s boring to simply just teleport, so i fly there myself every morning," she responded
Henry was flabbergasted, but he just threw it at the back of his mind, it was all just too much to take in. Thinking much about it would only give him mental issues. Every single person he had met since he woke up into that world was either weird, terrifying, or both.
"I don’t know which is even more disturbing, this? Or Xavier’s nature weight," he muttered inwardly
"Henry tried to sneak out of the house, i think he was going to an hunting ground. I was trying to question him, but he suddenly became Shakespeare and started speaking in parables," Emily suddenly said, making sure to fulfill her promise.
"Fuck! She wasn’t bluffing," Henry thought with an anxious expression. He had planned to be caught by a guard or something, not Felicity. That was why he was moving stealthily. If he wanted, he could have just ran out of the mansion unseen.
"Henry, is that true?" Felicity shifted her gaze towards Henry, her eyes penetrating into his soul.
"This is not good, my plan has failed. I better just play along and see where it ends,"Henry thought
"Yes mum, she’s right. I tried to leave the house, but i promise, i was only going to run a mile and return back," he voiced out, with a soft voice
Felicity then looked at Emily, seemingly asking for further proof. But Emily shrugged and folded her arms.
"What? Don’t ask me, i clearly said "I think", didn’t i? Besides, if he was only going to run a ’mile’," Emily quoted with her fingers. "He shouldn’t need to sneak out, he could’ve just asked you," she stated indifferently
Felicity then shifted her gaze to Henry again, wanting to hear how he plead his defence. The matter had officially been taken to mom court, and Emily was the persecutor. While Henry was both the accused and the defendant, and dear mother was judge, jury and executioner.
