CEO Vengeful Wife-Chapter 193: You should rather congragulate me

Jing Lihua's eyes shifted. She observed someone walking in their direction. A while later she frowned, "Seems like they have already set themselves in motion. What a pity." She sighed. Now their good time outdoors would be ruined.

"Do you want me to shoo him away?" Mo Liang asked. He had been told by Jing Lihua abut Lang Yufan's bad intentions. She had already asked him and Zhao Liying not to entertain him if he tried getting close to them.

"No need." Jing Lihua's eyes immediately changed their color. From nonchalance to sharpness. "It's better I deal with him on my own...sooner than later." Her lips curled up. A second later, she took out her phone and secretly sent a text to Li Zhiqiang.

Jing Lihua: "Are you free?"

Li Zhiqiang: "Depends. Do you want me for something?"

Jing Lihua: "I am currently at a Club. Could you spare some time to come here?"

Li Zhiqiang: "Everything for my JingJing. But haven't you been insistent on keeping our relationship a secret? How come you are willing to meet me in open?"

Jing Lihua's lips twitched: "Suddenly I have this urge to show off my fiance a bit. Does my fiance has any objections?"

Li Zhiqiang: "I would be there in a moment!"

Jing Lihua could feel his happiness from the message. Jing Lihua forgot to remind Li Zhiqiang not to overdo it. She wanted to force that Lang Yufan to back off but she didn't want to scare him to death.

"Ah Lihua, what a coincidence." Lang Yufan skillfully said once approaching Jing Lihua.

Jing Lihua smiled with politeness. "Mr. Lang, I didn't expect you to be here." 

"Ah Lihua, drop the honorifics. We are already this close. This formal addressing makes me feel distant." Then Lang Yufan glanced at Mo Liang who was standing by Jing Lihua's side. "Ahh, it must be the famous Liang prince. I have heard a lot about you. Could I borrow your friend for a while?"

Mo Liang didn't reply instantly. Instead, he looked in Jing Lihua's direction with concern. Only once Jing Lihua gave him an assuring smile he said. "Sure. Take your time."

And so Lang Yufan escorted Jing Lihua at a distance. "Ah Lihua, I heard what had happened. I hope you are coping well. A divorce is after all not a small matter." Deep concern laced his voice.

Jing Lihua was inwardly amazed at his smoothness.

If it was the naive Jing Lihua of the past, hearing those words, she would have been greatly moved. In fact, this was how it had happened in her last life. She was emotionally unstable and thus easily manipulated and entrapped by Lang Yufan's sweet words. &nbs

Jing Lihua replied with an air of nonchalance. Unlike the media and masses, she didn't want to hide this from Lang Yufan. "Let me tell you a secret. I purposefully had let Su Lanfen make a big fuss and create hype. So that, using her, I could take the initiative to end the wedding while at the same time I do not look bad." She smiled. "For my success, you should rather congratulate me."

Hearing her response, Lang Yufan was speechless.

Wasn't this woman head over heels over that Su Liwei guy?

Shouldn't she be emotionally vulnerable now?

He was confident in getting close to her after assuming that she would be emotionally unstable. However, now he was shocked speechless.

Lang Yufan was unwilling to accept this change. "Are you...certain? I mean in the past..." He hinted vaguely without saying everything clearly, attempting to probe her. 

By not being direct, he was trying to tell her he was being considerate of her feelings.

To his surprise, Jing Lihua laughed. "In the past, I was naive and young. Of course, I would no longer be as obsessive as I was before."

Although now that Jing Lihua is not emotionally unstable and it would be difficult to get her, I can't let this one setback hold me back.
