After he explained things to everyone and was finally declared to be the defender of the team, Austin and Valerie were allowed to return to their rooms.

Naturally, the others returned too since they have to train tomorrow with the squad so they need to recover their bodies.

While they walked with their hands connected, Austin heard his lover muttering, "I can't express how happy I am right now…it feels like we have won the tournament already."

Austin chuckled, "So confident…we need to go through two more rounds, you know."

Valerie hugged his arm, her body warmth vivid to him, as she said, "It doesn't matter…I felt victorious today seeing you pass the test."

The current Valerie was full of happiness. She was actually humming with joy and swaying his arm unintentionally which showed that the parameters of her happiness were broken.

'So many achievements my past self had…but nothing more than a congratulatory message I received…and here…' Call him an emotional fool, but right now, Austin was touched by her current behavior.

Soon, they reached before the dorm wing.

Although Valerie longed to cuddle with him and share a few words meant only for her Lord, she couldn't break the rules by entering his room. Besides, Sheldon was likely already there, and in her own room, the President awaited. There was simply no option.

Upon seeing the longing look in her eyes, Austin glanced around before pulling Valerie behind a tree.

The girl was taken by surprise upon finding herself being pressed against the tree. Her Lord's big frame completely covered any passerby's gaze.

She appeared smaller, trapped in his arms, as Austin looked down at her with his eyes darkened.

"Didn't receive any reward for winning my first round nor for getting my spot in the squad. Is my lady becoming unfair slowly?"

Valerie blushed, "Y-You demanded something unexpected…"

Austin grinned, as he brought his hand to her flat belly and said, "Although I would love to make this plump a little, for now, I would satisfy myself by just this…"

His words faded into the background as her mind fixated on the warmth pressing against her lips.

This wasn't her first kiss, yet she still hadn't grown used to the sensation. That would explain why her fingers curled tightly into his shirt, why her breath hitched as his lips moved against hers—gentle at first, then more insistent.

A shiver ran down her spine when his hand slid up her back, pulling her closer until not even air could slip between them. His other hand traced the curve of her jaw, his thumb brushing her cheek before tilting her chin up, deepening the kiss. Heat pooled in her chest as his tongue teased against her lips, coaxing her to part them.

She yielded, a soft sigh escaping her as their tongues met, the slow, intoxicating rhythm stealing what little remained of her restraint. Her knees weakened, and if not for his firm grip, she might have melted right into him.

Their tongues moved in perfect sync, a heated dance despite her shy hesitation. Austin was completely lost in her sweet, addictive taste of her, unable to get enough.

He loved her—so damn much. And it showed in the way he held her, his grip firm, almost desperate as if he never wanted to let go.

When their lips finally parted, Austin barely had a moment to catch his breath before instinct took over. Without thinking, he pressed a lingering kiss to her chin, then another just below it. Slowly, he trailed down, his lips brushing over the delicate skin of her neck, drawing a quiet gasp from her.

His hands roamed her back, pulling her impossibly closer as his lips continued their descent. When he reached her pristine collarbone, he lingered, then bit down ever so gently before soothing the spot with another kiss. A faint, possessive mark bloomed on her skin, claiming her in a way words never could.

"Austin…" She suddenly uttered his name, and that was like a cold bucket of water as Austin suddenly parted his eyes and realized what he was doing.

He instantly backed away, not releasing her but surely loosening his grip as he apologized, "I-I am sorry…I just-"

"No, it's okay. I don't mind, really. It's just I heard some people coming this way." Valerie could never reject her Lord's advances. She has already devoted her mind, body, and soul to him. But if he had gone any further, she knew she wouldn't have been able to hold her voice and let everyone know what was happening here.

Austin felt extremely guilty. He really lost his control because of her reactions and how soft he felt in his arms.

Lowering his head, he said, "I am sorry…and thank you for stopping me." Holding her hand he resumed their walk as he said, "Does it hurt?" He asked while glancing at the slight reddish mark on her neck.

Valerie sweetly smiled, "No, it's okay."

Austin helplessly asked, "Do you hate this possessive me?"

Valerie shook her head, "I absolutely love and welcome it. After all, you aren't the only one."

Austin felt a little better upon hearing her words as they reached the partition where they needed to go their separate ways.

Kissing her forehead delicately, he voiced, "Good night, love. See you tomorrow."

A smiling Valerie hummed before she reluctantly released his hand and walked toward her room.

'His warmth…it's still here…' Touching the slight bruising on her skin, her smile only widened.

It was a day full of sweetness~

Entering her room she found the President taking things out of her bag as she said, "Hello."

"Hey," Valerie responded shortly as she thought of advancing toward the bathroom since she urgently…needed to change her clothes.

But then Annabelle turned toward her and her eyes landed on the mark on her neck as she asked, "What is that mark? Did the mosquito bite you?"

Valerie's face turned hot a little but she controlled her emotions and nodded. Naturally, she wasn't a shameless woman to flaunt her relationship goals to someone else.

Taking her clothes, she was about to enter the bathroom—thinking that she fooled the President, when suddenly,

"Calling your lover a mosquito, is not very sweet of you, my precious junior~~"

Valerie flinched, but she didn't stop and entered the bathroom before closing the door with a strong thud.

Annabelle laughed heartily seeing the ever-stoic girl being so shy.

A/N:- I hope you all enjoyed reading the chapter. If I write R-18 it would be like the kissing scene. Hot, steamy but not full-on smutty.

Thanks for reading.
