Cultivating in the Wizard World-Chapter 243 - 215: Exploration, Beasts of Burden, and Debt_2
On the contrary, because of the unprecedented existence of the "Living Plane," its emergence has made the tasks for this group of Logistics Element Wizards more numerous and complex.
The task Jeming received over the past few months was to assess the remaining ecological system and various resources of the Ice and Flame Plane.
After all, the battle against the Living Ice and Flame Plane was enjoyable, but the price paid was exceedingly heavy.
Throughout the entire Ice and Flame Plane, the original surface material evaporated by at least ninety percent due to multiple Plane Level impacts!
The remaining land has all transformed into Floating Islands, suspended above the breached core surface.
These Floating Islands vary in size, the smallest maybe a few hundred meters, and the largest span several kilometers.
They are connected by a chaotic yet peculiar Force Field, swaying and floating in the void.
To compile a complete assessment of these fragmented regions, along with the surviving ecology and resources, undoubtedly requires a substantial investment of time, energy, and even some risk.
Jeming sighed, and put away the detector in his hand.
He realized that until the data is analyzed and new plane modification plans are devised, their toiling is likely to continue unrelentingly.
The entire Warband, including Augustine Wizard, is busy with their feet barely touching the ground.
Actually, Jeming himself is content to be busily engaged here, as compared to others, he can still gain additional rewards.
After gathering the information, Jeming formed a hand sign and gently stomped his foot.
Soon, wisps of black Yin Sha Qi wafted out and were collected by Jeming into the Soul-Collecting Gourd.
That was his extra gain.
Although the vast majority of Yin Sha Qi had been consumed by the Living Plane, a significant amount was dispersed during its resistance and scattered onto the surrounding Floating Islands.
Such high-grade Yin Sha Qi, previous gathered together, was beyond Jeming’s capability to collect. Now, it seems to be a blessing in disguise.
After completing the assessment of the remaining ecological system and resources on the Floating Continent, Jeming flashed through the newly stabilized space rift above and returned to the Ship Plane.
Upon landing, the several Yetis near the space rift showed expressions of reverence.
Augustine Wizard would not waste resources; once the situation was confirmed, he decisively signed a treaty with the two Kings of Monsters.
After witnessing the Wizards orchestrate the battles between the Ship Plane and the Ice and Flame Plane, the monster tribes now exhibited a slightly sycophantic demeanor towards the Wizards.
Jeming paid no mind to it; he headed straight for the logistics hub of the temporary camp and uploaded all the information he had gathered over the last few months to the core database via the terminal.
With the task completed, Jeming was planning to take a brief rest.
Upon leaving the logistics hub, he noticed a large crowd gathering before a plot of open ground in the camp, generating a buzz of murmurs.
Curious, he joined in to inspect, noticing that at the center of the camp surrounded by Wizards was a massive Array glowing with intricate Runes.
Jeming identified that this Array was designed to provide space coordinate positions.
The Magic Network Terminal timely delivered a notification from Master Augustine: "Attention Wizards, the plane passage has connected, welcome our distant colleagues!"
Not long after, as the Array emitted a radiant glow, circles of space ripples began to spread at the center of the Array.
The sky of the Ship Plane was once again torn by an invisible force.
However, on the other side of this rift was not an unknown plane, but dozens of silhouettes distinct in forms.
In terms of size, those silhouettes appeared much smaller relative to the initially stable but not designed-for-large-team teleportation narrow rift in the sky.
But Jeming noticed the silhouettes seemed to show a sense of being unable to squeeze through.
It was as if behind those silhouettes, even larger entities were present.
Among them, few silhouettes unleashed exceptionally powerful force auras.
With their combined exertion of power, they forcibly widened the space rift a bit!
Under their collective effort, the space rift in the sky ultimately reached a terrifying scale of several kilometers long and wide.
Only then, the group of silhouettes managed to barely "squeeze" down!
Just as those Wizards crossed the rift into the Ship Plane, numerous overwhelming force auras, mixed with strong Elemental fluctuations and Rule auras, instantly permeated the entire Ship Plane.
The impact rife with potent Elemental ripples immediately made Jeming realize—these people were all Sixth Level Wizards!
Some auras among them should have even reached the Seventh Level!
"Tch, just look at these maniacs, each with expressions like starving wolves seeing fresh meat."
Viola emerged from a corner nearby, smacking her lips lightly, her silver-gray eyes shimmering with a playful curiosity.
Before Jeming could inquire, she explained the event to Jeming in a calm tone:
"After Augustine Wizard successfully captured the Living Plane, news spread rapidly at the Boundary Point. Numerous Wizards, especially those focused on Plane research and Rule exploration, are crazily applying to come to study this rare Living Plane."
Upon hearing this, Jeming’s eyes briefly flickered: "Oh? If that’s the case, this Augustine Wizard surely is making a fortune."
