Chapter 995: Constant Baron-1

In Floor No.95 of the Timeless Tower, a few figures hidden behind cloaks stood on top of a large teleportation circle.

At this moment, one of the figures in the center, who was around four meters tall and burly built, started to mutter a chant, and the next moment, an hourglass mark suddenly shimmered under his hood.

A hoarse voice rang, "Constant Baron-5 is requesting permission to enter floor 100th of the Timeless Tower with Constant Baron-9 and 8 Noble Assassins."

There were teleportation halls on each floor, which were connected to different locations of the timeless city. Because of its peculiar location, a Constant could only enter or exit the Timeless City through the teleportation hall.

This way, every entry or exit was closely monitored by the Timeless Hourglass, the central system of the Timeless City. Only one person was ever able to bypass all of this, and that was Jacob.

Once the Constant Baron-5 made his request, a static voice rang within the teleportation hall, "Permission granted."

The next moment, the teleportation circle flashed, and the ten cloaked figures vanished without any trace.

On floor no.1 of the Timeless Tower, they reappeared within another teleportation hall, which was exactly the same as the one they had just used. The only difference was that another person was waiting for them.

This person was 3.4 meters tall with a slender frame. He was wearing a long violet robe, and his face was hidden behind a black mask. The only visible features were his long, crimson hair cascading down behind his back and a pair of glowing crimson eyes.

His hands were covered with claw-like black gloves, and he held a strange black book without any title or markings.

The burly Constant Baron-5 and the petite Constant Baron-9 quickly came forward and respectfully greeted the man, "Sir Constant Baron-1!"

On the other hand, the Noble Assassins remained rooted in their place like statues, without any excessive movements. There wasn’t even a sign of life in them, and the Constant Barons didn’t seem to mind them at all.

Constant Baron-1 nodded in acknowledgment before he spoke in his mild voice, "Sir-5, Miss-9, you both worked hard."

Both Constant Barons quickly shook their heads as if they dared not take Constant Baron-1’s praise.

"We only follow your plan."

"She’s right, everything has been meticulously planned by Sir Constant Baron-1."

Constant Baron-1 chuckled as if he didn’t mind their attitude. He even sounded pleased, "Without both of you, I won’t be able to reach this point so fast. But don’t worry—the hard part is over, and now, it’s time to claim the fruit of our labor."

Constant Baron-5 and 9 were in shock when they heard this. They knew too well what Constant Baron-1 was hinting at, and they’ve been working for this goal all this time.

"Alright, let’s not delay this any longer. You know what you need to do, right? There is no room for errors." Constant Baron-1’s voice turns serious.

"Don’t worry, we have already set the trap, and knowing ’her,’ she’ll definitely bite." Constant Baron-5 confidently stated.

Constant Baron- 9 also sneered coldly, "Indeed, she’s desperate to keep her spot. But she’s only being stubborn. It’s time to put her to ’sleep’ so she can become clear-headed again!"

Constant Baron-1 nodded in agreement, "It’s indeed about time. Let’s not delay anymore, or those Secret Fraternity’s eccentrics might suspect something. Please proceed."

The next moment, Constant Baron-1 suddenly flipped open the black-covered book in his hand. Crimson pages flickered one after another before they suddenly stopped at a certain point, revealing a crimson page with unknown runic writing.

Constant Baron-1’s crimson eyes shimmered as a ghastly aura released from his body, and the runes on the crimson page suddenly came alive and jumped out of the page before starting to take shape.

Within a few seconds, those runic words suddenly turn into a humanoid figure with the same stature as Constant Baron-1. And it didn’t stop there; the humanoid started to take on the same features of Constant Baron-1, turning into his exact copy.

Now, both of them standing beside each other looked exactly the same, and even their auras felt identical. The only difference was that the black book in the real Constant Baron-1’s hand didn’t get duplicated.

The ’new’ Constant Baron-1 moved forward and entered the teleportation circle with the others without saying anything.

The real Constant Baron-1 issued a command, "Constant Baron-1 is requesting permission to exit the Timeless City for Constant Baron-5, Constant Baron-9, and 8 Noble Assassins. They have my permission to leave my floor."

Thereupon, a familiar emotionless voice rang, "Permission granted!" The next moment, everyone vanished from the teleportation hall with a flash.

Once everyone was gone, a peculiar glint flashed past Constant Baron-1’s crimson eyes, and the next moment, he placed his finger on the forehead of his mask and pulled back!

A small ethereal hourglass with a golden-bronze frame filled with starry black sand appeared. Grabbing the golden-bronze framed hourglass with both hands, he muttered, "I request a timeless meeting with Golden Constant-100,000!"

After a moment, a static voice rang in Constant Baron-1’s head: "Golden Constant-100,000 has accepted the timeless meeting with Constant Baron-1!"

Within the timeless space, both Golden Constant-100,000 and Constant Baron-1 appeared in their ’constant forms.’

Constant Baron-1: "Plan is in motion. How’s your preparations coming along?"

Golden Constant-100,000: "Everything is set. I’ll contact her, and she’ll leave the city."

Constant Baron-1: "Good. Remember, there is no room for error. We might not get another chance like this again. I hope this plan of yours works for both of our sakes."

Golden Constant-100,000: "Haha, worry not, Senior. We serve the same master, and since I was put in charge of this operation by the ’Master’, I don’t dare to mess up."

Constant Baron-1: "Good to hear it. As long as I become the next ’0’, you’ll have a chance to enter the Constant Baron rankings."

Golden Constant-100,000: "Of course, of course, I’ll never doubt your promise, senior!"

Constant Baron-1: "Constant meeting concluded!"
