Death… And Me-Chapter 4177: Don’t Make Me Regret It
Soza didn’t even wait to get into range. His Golden Power accumulated, a Crysta Void half-moon blade appeared, and he slashed forward!
Rean and Roan only saw the incredibly powerful slashing energy coming in their direction. Yet, they didn’t mind. The box seemed to finish accumulating energy, opening as a Dark and White Light shot from it.
The twins obviously were not aiming at Soza, his two companions, or any of the Celestial Realm Experts. Instead, the Dark and White Light shot in the Great Void Black Hole’s direction.
Soza and the others were taken aback. The light was truly that, light. So it moved at Light Speed. They were confused. They have many, many protection measures in place to prevent anything from getting close to BH1, so why are the twins aiming their attack there?
Yet, to Soza and the others’ surprise, the White and Black Light truly passed right through all the formations! Soza couldn’t help but open his eyes wide. "Impossible!"
Of course, he quickly focused back on the twins, as did everyone else!
Too bad, though. There was a reason Rean and Roan appeared in BH1, but they didn’t get too close to it. They weren’t idiots. After escaping last time, they knew that the Werdlem Empire would try to scramble space to prevent them from entering their Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm. Soza would need to be a moron to not notice that they could escape that way.
So, before even Soza could get close enough to scramble the space around or his attack, Rean and Roan smiled. "It’s done!"
*Zush! Zush!*
Then, they disappeared! Obviously, as anyone could imagine, so did the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm Spatial Entrance a moment later!
"Fuck!"
Soza, Latifi, and Rafina arrived right after. They didn’t know what the twins did, but they obviously succeeded. However, Latifi noticed one thing. The box that the twins used, the one that shot the Black and White Light. It was still there. Of course, with Soza’s attack, it was quite broken.
"Soza," Latifi passed it to him. "Do you know what this thing is? I can feel some weird energy inside, but I can’t figure out what it is."
Soza took the box, and Rafina approached, curious. Both of them checked the box with their Divine Senses, but other than the weird energy emanating from it, they couldn’t see anything else. In any case, that energy alone was enough to worry them.
"They escaped," Rafina commented. "There is no point worrying about it now. Instead, we must check Default. Whatever came out of this box obviously couldn’t be stopped by all the protection measures we put around BH1."
Soza nodded. "Let’s go!"
---
Rean and Roan came out many light-years away. Just like before, they used Celis to cross that distance. The Abyssal Paths were being watched, but who said you couldn’t go to BH1 the normal way? That’s how they got to BH1, making sure to avoid the many sentries and such on the way.
Now that they escaped, they returned to the Dimensional Realm. Inside, Aby looked at them. "How was it?"
Roan nodded slightly. "If everything goes right, you should find out soon."
---
Soza, Latifi, and Rafina quickly passed by the various formations, throwing themselves into the Great Void Black Hole. They weren’t afraid of dying to its enormous power. Soza was still the Emperor, and he had ways to get to Default if necessary.
Finally, inside the empty space at the Center of BH1, the three experts appeared. Well, almost empty, except for Default’s prison. Default naturally noticed their sudden arrival, feeling confused but also interested. "Now, now, now... If this isn’t Soza. I have to say, it has truly been a very long time since we last saw each other. Have you finally decided not to meddle with the lovebirds and come to invite me to the marriage?"
Soza’s mouth twitched. "I’ll die before I let that piece of shit marry my daughter."
Sure enough, Default was talking about Soul Gem and Fila. That always touched Soza’s sore spot. "You can’t protect her forever, you know? Do you want to let her die alone? What a terrible father you are. You should be more like me with my disciples. Keep them close, but give them the freedom to enjoy their lives. The cultivation world sometimes can be way too boring, you know?"
"Enough of that," Rafina intervened. "What are you planning, Default? What did those two brats send you?"
Default got even more confused, but he didn’t show it on his face. He was smart, and with those few words, he could guess a few things. "Why should I tell you? You should sit tight and wait in your palaces. Or, if you want, you can stay here with me. Well, staying too long inside BH1 won’t be good, even for experts of your level. I’ll definitely not prevent its power from affecting you, after all."
Soza narrowed his eyes, bringing the broken box out. "Default, don’t play with me. This prison can’t be broken! Now, tell me what this is about! What are you planning?"
Default looked at Soza, his expression bright as day... if he wasn’t all dark, that is. "What am I planning? As if you don’t know already. I’m obviously planning to get the fuck out of here and get rid of your annoying Bubble. Why do you ask something you already know the answer to? As for the thing on your hands. Hehe! It already served its purpose."
That was all a lie. Default had absolutely no idea what that broken box was about. However, when he heard about the ’two brats,’ he didn’t need to think much to know they were likely talking about Rean and Raon. If it were another Primordial Demon Beast, Soza’s group wouldn’t have referred to them like that.
He did’t know what Rean and Roan were doing, but considering he knew Hick went after the twins after the last time Default and Hick met, Default was pretty sure Hick met them by now. So, as a good master, he definitely helped his disciple while making everything as ambiguous as possible. He gave no answer, but he made it look like he knew everything. Roan would likely approve of this guy’s mind.
Still, there was one thing he could guess. ’That box... From what they are saying, whatever was inside it was supposed to have something to do with me. Yet, I didn’t receive anything... Hehe! To be more specific, I did receive something. I just got that box here, or better saying, they did.’
---
Back inside the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm, Sister Orb kept the connection with the outside world open so Aby could feel everything. Well, not Aby...
"It’s there!" Mamato suddenly said, his eyes lighting up!
Aby’s Soul, on the side, warned him. "Kid, you’d better not make me regret this!"
