Death… And Me-Chapter 4179: A lure to create another lure

The stage had been prepared. Mamato could now feel the location of the box, which contained a fragment of himself. He was believed to be dead, and the seal on his soul was gone, so no one would notice the moment he created the new Abyssal Path.

Well, Abyssal Beasts could possibly notice it, but they don’t like the Werdlem Empire, so they wouldn’t talk about it even if they felt the creation of a new path in BH1.

Mamato and Aby worked together, and Mamato seemed pretty surprised by Aby’s teachings. He could create paths before, but doing so with Aby’s methods was definitely much better.

Rean and Roan saw many of their Divine Stones being consumed nonstop. It goes without saying that creating those paths consumed a lot of energy. They didn’t care, though. There was plenty to go around, and they could get even more if they felt like doing so.

The thing that contributed the most, yet, was Default’s blabbering. Default knew that that box was supposed to be there, and he made sure he kept Soza, Latifi, and Rafina entertained. He just didn’t know for how long he had to do so, but that didn’t matter.

Finally, around fifteen minutes later, the Abyssal Path reached the very center of BH1. "I’m done!"

They were not inside the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm, but outside instead. Aby and Mamato had been gone for these fifteen minutes, as Mamato was inside the path with Aby, building it. They just came back now.

Roan nodded slightly, his mind connecting him to a certain Minokawa in A1 Universe. "It’s your cue."

Kentucky had used the Relay Node to return to A1. As mentioned by Mamato before, there was a hidden Abyssal Path for each ranked Universe. The hidden path of the Rank A Universes was in A1. Even if not, the twins had their way to get to the other universes now.

[Abyssal Path Detected]

Kentucky heard the system’s indication when he got close to the location Mamato indicated. Naturally, this place had no Great Void Shifters before. If anything, it was a pretty common forest environment. "Well, here goes nothing!"

The Black Tunnel appeared again, and Kentucky entered it. The world changed as Kentucky flew through the path, eventually returning to the Werdlem Universe. It’s just that this time, he came out right in the Abyssal Beasts’ home!

*Bang!*

Kentucky landed on the ground like a meteor, creating quite a big crater around him. That wasn’t anything with his power, but it definitely caused a lot more commotion than expected.

"Who goes there?!" A grave voice echoed in the surroundings, and soon, a few Abyssal Beasts appeared around Kentucky. That place was also considered their Ancesral Area, so it was important. However, they saw the black tunnel behind Kentucky closing, which left them shocked.

They raised their guards. They knew what kind of path Kentucky used to get there, and they knew the only two possibilities for someone to come out of there, too. Kentucky was either someone from the Werdlem Empire, or...

"Our God, Huver, has finally blessed us!" Kentucky quickly shouted for all the Abyssal Beasts to hear! 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

Norogal, one of the oldest Abyssal Beasts there, opened his eyes wide. However, there was no time to think. The Abyssal Beasts’ Home was watched all the time, and there was no doubt the Werdlem Empire had already detected Kentucky’s arrival. "What do you need?!"

Kentuckt sighed in relief and quickly passed the orders. "No time to waste. Gather as many of your race as possible. I’m sending you all into my pocket dimensional realm. Whoever is late will be left behind. Understood?!"

*Zush, zush!*

Rean and Roan also appeared by Kentucky’s side. "We will help get as many of them as possible."

Norogal didn’t ask any questions, and his Divine Sense spread. ’All Abyssal Beasts, gather in the Ancestral Area! You have a minute! Anyone who fails to come will be left behind!’

Back inside BH1, Soza, Latifi, and Rafina continued to argue with Default in his prison. They were determined to find out what that box was used for.

One might be thinking, if BH1 was protected by so many formations and such, how did the twins manage to send something past those defenses? How could none of those measures miss their actions?

Well, because all the formations around didn’t detect anything out of the ordinary. What Rean and Roan shot in BH1’s direction was a black and white light... and that was just it, light! Why would light be blocked? It was neither Light nor Dark Element. It wasn’t laws of any kind. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary at all.

And that’s how they convinced Soza and the others that they had done something for Default, when, in fact, they did nothing. The twins’ group truly rented a place on their enemies’ heads.

Suddenly, Soza’s CD received a call, which irritated him. "What is it?! It better be good!"

But then, his expression changed, catching the attention of both Latifi and Rafina. "What is it?"

Soza, however, looked at Default in anger. "You! This is all a ruse!"

"Hahahaha!" Default laughed out loud. He didn’t know what Soza heard, but he definitely played along. "I told you, didn’t I? This box has already served its purpose!"

Soza threw the box away, turning around and leaving in a hurry. "We were lured here. We had all our forces stationed around BH1 after we saw what those twins did, expecting them to try to free Default. But it had nothing to do with it! They found some way to get to the Abyssal Beasts’ Home!"

"What?!" Rafina and Latifi didn’t expect that. Why the Abyssal Beasts? However, they had a bad feeling about this. After all, the Werdlem Empire heavily relied on the Abyssal Paths, so you could see how they were lured away from the Abyssal Beasts’ Home.

And so, Soza’s group left BH1 in a hurry.

Little did he know, but that was also part of the plan, and now, the Abyssal Path connected to the center of BH1 was ready to open, and there wasn’t anyone there to catch whoever came out of it!
