Chapter 636: Chapter 337: Metamorphosis (Second Update)

"Brandon, why are you back again? Aren’t you afraid that Boss Ouyang will find out you’re two-faced?" Nick Zeller instantly became alert, tightly grabbing Gabrielle Winters’ arm.

Brandon laughed heartily, "I haven’t touched you, he can’t control it! I’m after her!"

As he spoke, he reached out, grabbed Gabrielle Winters’ other arm, and forcibly dragged her out of the coffin.

Nick Zeller, meanwhile, was tightly restrained by two men brought by Brandon, barely able to move.

Gabrielle Winters had never experienced anything like this. After enduring the entire night, she finally let out a scream upon seeing Brandon’s disgusting and lewd face.

"Save me! Nick, save me!"

She turned her head to look at Nick Zeller, her face filled with terror, tears flowing uncontrollably.

Seeing her frightened face, Nick Zeller’s mind buzzed, like a tightly wound string suddenly snapping.

With a low growl, a surge of strength erupted from somewhere inside him, and he struggled fiercely, managing to break free from the two men’s grasp.

Nick Zeller quickly lunged forward, wrapping his arms around Gabrielle Winters from behind.

At this moment, Gabrielle Winters was being pulled to her feet by Brandon. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺

Nick Zeller’s lunge from behind caused the two of them to tumble out of the coffin.

Brandon stepped aside with a smile, watching Nick Zeller and Gabrielle Winters fall to the ground together.

However, Nick Zeller still held Gabrielle Winters protectively beneath him, shielding her with his own body.

Brandon initially paid no attention, waving his hand and saying, "Get this eyesore out of my sight!"

The other two men approached, each grabbing one of Nick Zeller’s shoulders, trying to pull him up.

However, his six-foot-tall, somewhat heavy, and bulky frame proved too much for the two men, who were much smaller than him. Even combined, they couldn’t pull him away.

"Damn it! Is he really that brave, daring enough to go against us? Does he have a death wish?!"

Even when trying with all their might, they couldn’t get Nick Zeller off the ground, let alone drag Gabrielle Winters, whom he was protecting.

Brandon, at first amused, noticed the two men struggling and his expression darkened.

"I guess he won’t shed a tear until he sees the coffin!" Brandon sneered, extending his hand to draw out a half-foot-long iron rod from his sleeve.

This was an extendable iron rod.

Brandon quickly extended the half-foot rod into a two-foot-long iron rod.

Then he struck Nick Zeller viciously, especially targeting his already broken leg. He not only hit but kicked it as well.

Nick Zeller, enduring the excruciating pain, still held Gabrielle Winters tightly in his embrace, refusing to let anyone harm her in the slightest.

After swinging for a while, Brandon’s hand began to hurt, yet Nick Zeller didn’t back down.

"Ha, I see you’re willing to die for her!" Brandon sneered, planning to put the iron rod away and look for another tool when he suddenly heard voices not far away and a beam of light approaching.

Brandon looked up in alarm, "Who’s there?"

"Could it be Boss Ouyang?" The two henchmen were terrified, bolting away in panic.

Brandon squinted, looking down at the motionless Nick Zeller, and quietly said, "This was someone else’s order, remember to settle the score with the mastermind in the Underworld!"

With that, he swung the iron rod, his arm describing a semicircle, aiming a fierce blow at the back of Nick Zeller’s head.

Already dazed from the beating, the vicious blow to the back of his head nearly snapped Nick Zeller’s neck.

Nick Zeller’s eyes suddenly widened, his legs convulsed twice, before he exhaled and slumped down, completely unconscious.

Gabrielle Winters screamed in response.

Brandon kicked Nick Zeller aside and attempted to drag Gabrielle Winters away with him.

However, Gabrielle Winters went wild, fighting him fiercely.

"You killed Nick! You killed Nick! I want you to pay with your life!" Though her strength wasn’t great, her nails were sharp enough, instantly leaving several bloody scratches on Brandon’s face.

Brandon was about to knock Gabrielle Winters out and take her away when the beam of light grew stronger.

A man rushed over, shouting, "The police are here! The police are here!"

A group of at least dozens of strong men followed behind him.

Dragging the still-kicking Gabrielle Winters slowed Brandon down, so he angrily let her go and fled in panic.
