Destroying My Own World-Chapter 379: Finest creation.
Mykel was floating in space with her six white feathered wings on his back. He was looking down at a circle like a black hole below him, trying to suck him inside. He could see the wormhole and where it would send him to, a place where the Gods lived.
"Going in there is like going right into a trap. Some of them are quite annoying when it comes to manipulation ability. But, it’s your call whether we take the short path or the long one," Luciel said as she looked at Mykel’s wings because they looked similar to hers but more majestic.
Mykel flew into the hole without hesitation, and then Luciel followed him from behind. She didn’t want to be separated because inside the wormhole she was vulnerable to Rozan and Shelly’s trickery. But Thanks to Mykel, those two couldn’t do anything and anything wouldn’t work on him.
They both came out on the other end of the wormhole and landed on the beach. It was so peaceful and quiet, and it was so quiet that something felt off about it. Nobody welcomed them or attacked them as soon as they came, but they could sense their presence in the far distance.
"So they have bred this much?" Luciel raised her eyebrows as she looked at the sea and the weird-looking creatures like sperms swimming in the sea. "The endless cycle of life is what they called it. They use their life essence as the seeds, turning them into souls, blowing them into the world, and waiting for their turn to be born. When they died, the souls came back here waiting to be picked," she turned around and looked at the sky.
Mykel looked at the sea and it was similar to the sea where Aevia brought him back then. He wondered how they copied Aevia’s art of creation if they shouldn’t have known her. But he might have an idea why, and it was because a small part of her power was inside them.
"Follow me," Luciel said as she walked toward the very wide stairs at least a hundred meters wide up to the cliff.
Mykel followed Luciel up the stairs until he saw titanic structures in the far distance and beyond the clouds. The path to that city of Gods would take years if they had to walk on foot, but the scenery would entertain them and make time fly by quickly.
"Our agreement is you won’t help me, so I believe you will stay on the side as I would expect?" Luciel glanced at Mykel who wasn’t fazed by the scenery of the vast sea behind him and the bricklayer road with unique and majestic architectures. Continue your saga on novelbuddy
Before Mykel could say anything, he felt a lot of presence coming toward them from all sides. When he glanced at Luciel, the space around them started to wobble like they were inside a bubble. It all happened in a thousandths of a second, and then he saw a black sword come out of thin air in front of Luciel.
Luciel barely blocked the sword with her sword and it was right in between her eyebrows. If she was late, she would lose her head and might die, but she wasn’t worried because she knew she had Mykel on her side.
"That was our only shot," A man with long wavy brown hair landed with a spear in his hand.
"We expected this, we just need to change to the second plan," A woman with sharp eyes and long black hair appeared out of thin air like she was hiding behind a curtain. "We defeated her once, we will defeat her again," she added.
"We have been waiting for this moment anyway. It doesn’t matter if the plan failed or not," A man with slick brown hair standing on top of the pillar with a scythe resting on his shoulder. "She’s strong and she’s alone. That’s all that matters," he pointed out as he looked at Aurea was still trying to push her sword into Luciel’s skull.
The bright orange and blue sky suddenly turned dark and the strong gusts of wind blew the trees down. A massive black dragon with six wings covered the sky, looking down at Luciel with its glowing gold eyes. On top of that, there was a man and woman holding staffs riding the dragon.
Luciel was smirking as she stared into Aurea’s eyes with resentment, hatred, and excitement. She was unable to overpower Aurea’s strength which was suspicious in her eyes. Nobody should be able to match her strength even though Aurea was supposed to be the second strongest in terms of brute strength.
"What’s the matter, sis? Don’t tell me you’re going to make an excuse that you just regained your power and that’s why you’re so weak," Aurea grinned as she tried so hard to push her sword.
Luciel pulled out the Light Sword, but before she could lift it, a woman appeared right behind her, pointing her katars at her wrist. Lucile had no choice but to move to the side to avoid both Aurea and Nagy, but she noticed from the corner of her eye something flew toward her. It was an arrow and it hit precisely at Luciel’s hand, making the Light Sword fall from her grasp.
Jeanne appeared right in front of Luciel, grabbing the Light Sword as she stared coldly at Luciel. The moment she possessed the sword, a strong shockwave from her hand pushed everyone away. The sword changed its shape and design, restoring its power to its fullest the moment she held it.
Jeanne swung her sword as hard as she could, trying to cut Luciel in half diagonally. But Luciel blocked her attack like it was nothing even though the impact destroyed the whole area. She then decided to retract her sword, flew away from Luciel, and landed in front of the others.
Luciel swung her sword around and slashed it toward them all, but someone landed right in front of Jeanne with his massive shield. He blocked the projectile attack she released, the same attack that cut Earth in half. Although he blocked it, his hands couldn’t stop trembling because it was too much even for him.

Mykel was in the distance, staring at the eight of them, Jeanne, Aurea, Rozan, Gunnar, Sven, Vincze, Lillith, and Nagy. The familiar faces, the people he raised and turned into the finest creations that had ever existed. Seeing them all together made him smile because he was happy to be able to see them all again.
"Stop, Ciel," Jeanne said when she saw Luciel swinging her sword around again. "The Mother wants to see him in person. If you still have some respect for her, don’t destroy the city," she explained.
"What does she want from him?" Luciel asked as she put down her sword and rested her left hand on her hip. "He has no plan on taking your side, so if that’s what she’s planning to do, it’s a waste of time," she pointed out.
"She just wants to talk. If you want revenge, then let’s do it somewhere else and let them have a peaceful conversation," Jeanne answered with confidence. "But don’t expect you will be able to win, you’re alone now while we are still the same but stronger," she pointed out as Bhatmelec, Brynhilde, Euros, and the others landed right behind Rozan and the others.
"You said the same thing back then, but you almost died in my hand if it wasn’t for my sister who backstabbed before I could do it," Luciel clenched her fists as she stared coldly at Jeanne. "Now that I know I’m alone, I have nothing to fear of getting backstabbed," she pointed out as she cut the space open next to her.
"This will be the end either for me or for all of you," Luciel said as she entered the rift.
Jeanne walked toward the rift and was followed by the others, but she glanced at Mykel before she entered the rift. She wondered who he was and why he was capable of turning back time partially, something that even no other Gods could do.
Mykel was about to fly to the city, but then a portal was opened next to him. A woman in a gold dress came out of the portal with her long brown hair that was decorated with gold accessories. He realized why she wasn’t with the others, turned out Edith was staying by the Mother’s side.
"The Mother is waiting, come this way," Edith pointed at the portal.
Mykel entered the portal with Edith following him from behind.
"Was it you who created this world?" Mykel asked.
"Yes, a place befit for the Mother and the others to live in after the old world got destroyed during the war," Edith answered. "I’m surprised that you could tell that this world is my creation," she looked at Mykel with curiosity.
"You used to use that power to create a beautiful garden back then. Not only the garden, you turned a whole city into a paradise. It was so beautiful," Mykel answered as he reminisced of the New York City that had turned into a god-like city and the garden where everyone loved to gather around.
Edith furrowed her eyebrows and had no idea what Mykel was talking about. Something enigmatic about him that made her feel a bit uncomfortable and unnerving.
"We have arrived. The Mother is in the garden, you will find her if you go around the building," Edith said as she pointed at the small building, too small for a being called God to live in. "The Mother never fancy something magnificent and glamorous. She prefers to live in a place like this," she explained.
The building was so small that it was like a small apartment for a single person. The building was overshadowed by the biggest structure and building in front of it.
"Are you not afraid that I will do something to her?" Mykel asked Edith.
"I am, but I believe you will respect the Mother’s hospitality," Edith answered.
Mykel walked around the building and saw a woman with long red hair, staring at the garden filled with lilies while enjoying the tea. She was wearing almost a see-through dress, and suddenly she stood up and turned around. Her red eyes met with his eyes, the Mother whom they respected was no other than Lyneth herself.
"Thank you for taking care of my descendants, both of them," Lyneth said.
"It’s nothing," Mykel said as he approached Lyneth. "You’re still as beautiful as I remembered," he pointed out as he caressed Lyneth’s cheek and stared at her red lips.
"Have we ever met before?" Lyneth furrowed her eyebrows with a confused look on her face.
"Why don’t you see it for yourself?" Mykel raised his eyebrows and overwhelmed Lyneth with his memories.
