Devil Slave (Satan system)-Chapter 1272: Pepsodent
A few hours later, it was time to go. However, Enel gave Perseus a few instructions as he approached the craft. one of them being how lady Vinegar should be treated in his absence.
As things stood, there was nothing that the current him could do to help her against her affliction of laws. This was because he was not yet at the state of power were his current body could wield the laws that were necessary to free her. there was also the fact that laws were goverened by conditions.
If the laws that wrecked her body were soul related, then with his blue soul, he would have actually stood a chance. But right now, there was no way in hell that he was going to attempt it. The energy would instead wreck havoc in his own body.
For now, he had ensured that she was in a state of in between. This city had a perfect blend of futuristic technology and magic for that to happen.
Perseus nodded at the instructions and they were through the plan one more time.
Enel’s group are to go all the way to the outer rims of sector 3. The reason the known universe was divided in this manner according to sectors was because of the royal demon family.
If the space area had already been conquered by a royal demon family, then that area was said to have been under one of the seven parts. Of course, these days, they were a lot of scholars that debated that the old system based on power structure was too crude.
One prominent reason for this was because others could rise and conquer. An example of that happening was what was happening with the fallen angels.
Besides, there were other powers in the cosmos too.
Places such as hell and the rainbow bridge existed.
nevertheless, if the royal family was the dominant known power entity in that area of space, then it was considered a trerritory that they occupied.
of course, occupied did not translate to entirely rule. Again, they were indeed powerful forces in the world.
Some of them were on a scale that the even the royal demon families could not talk to, unless it was their primordial demon itself.
At the same time, most of them enjoyed their quarters and their, not quite as power hungry as the primordial demons.
This did not mena that they were no clashes from time to time.
After all, it was a huge world, and sometimes, a group of people that had lived on a plane for hundreds of thousands of years without a problem may one day discover that their ancestors had made a home for them were an entity would go take a shit a few hundreds of thousands of years.
Or, a plane that an entity believed to be his farm for raring other sentient beings.
Such were the mysteries of this volatile world that they lived in.
Perseus nodded one more time at Enel’s words. Enel was dressed appropriately for the event. They were to go to sector 3 which was actually the known territory of the Asmodeus royal demon family.
The same one that Cuban had once attempted to train him for, more like a soldier to help them conquer the world and restore his name within the family.
Although this was the Asmodeus family territory, the plane that they were heading to was not ruled by them in any way. In fact, it was ruled by a religious group that went by the name Pepsodent.
They were a very organized group that had incredible influence in the known universe.
The most interesting part of it is that, it was a relatively new religious group that had only been around for about a hundred years, as such, they were those that called them a cult.
Nevertheless, they were a people that had grown fast in strength. It was because of their fast growth and influence that Allison and commander Kael had once been tasked with investigating them.
After all, one of the functions of the werewolves was to act as spies and gather information for the eighth earth.
This was information that had been considered to be of incredible importance as it was thought that this cult was most likely surrounded around a treasure of sorts.
At the time, this was the only logical explanation for it. Treasures had incredible abilities. Some were surses and some were blessings. Either ways, it mostly depended on if the wielder knew how to control it.
In such a world were most people cry for help every day, a person that would walk into their lives with salvation of any kind would most likely become their god.
Such was the annoying fate of those that had no choice but to bend to the wills of those in a position of power.
According to what Perseus had told Enel of this cult known as Pepsodent, it was a tight knit cult, and surprisingly one that took them significant time to get a spy into a position of power.

This meant that whosoever it was that was the leader of the cult knew exactly what they were doing. Those that had been thought of as spies were all executed.
meaning that anything that threatened their way of life, even if he be the demons was eliminated. Perseus speculated that they must at least have a person that was of the Arcane demon rank, if at all there was no treasure.
Because that was the only way that such a ’cult’ or rather religious group would have been able to actually fight against the demon royal families.
After all, it was now a known fact that the primordial demons were outside time, and the principalities and power ruled the affairs of their families.
All of whom were in the Arcane realm.
In this world, power only respected power. It was an unchangeable rule. After a while, it is said that even the royal demons no longer looked for trouble with this religious group. This was the place Enel was planning on going.
It was no wonder Perseus was worried...
