Chapter 3491 Visitng Tia's Parents

"I apologize for disturbing you all at night."

Davis cupped his hands towards Edgar Alstreim, Tia Alstreim, and Havle Alstreim.

"No, we're all in the middle of placing the furniture and decorations to our liking. Please sit. We are honored that you came to see us. Tia, did you forcefully bring him here?"

Lia Alstreim giggled ever so lightly.

"Ah~ I did." Tia hurriedly nodded, "I haven't told you about it yet since I didn't want you all to worry, Mother, but I'm the Karmic Guardian of this family, which is an awesome thing. I wanted to show big brother that he can rely on us as well."

"Oh~" Lia Alstreim's brows raised before she turned to look at Davis, "That sounds amazing, but indeed, if there is anything bothering you, no matter the problem, please feel free to confide in us. I still consider myself to owe a big debt as you cured my sickness back then."

"Of course. You're my grandmother. I will not stand by and watch you fall to some random sickness. If I had let that happen, it would've become a stain on my title."

"Aha~ Be honest."

Lia Alstreim smiled. She knew Davis didn't save her for such a reason as this man didn't even want the position of the Emperor of his Loret Empire or to become the Patriarch of the Alstreim Family. She didn't know of his ambitions but certainly didn't think it was anything grand as his perspective seemed to be different, caring about family more than the extraordinaires who stood at the top of major powers.

Davis wryly smiled.

If he did so much for the family, then his intentions would be as clear as day.

Speaking of being honest, he was about to tell the truth, but once he was here, his mind wanted to take a few steps back and exit.

Why did you come here? Couldn't you keep this a secret for some more time?

They had just passed through a world barrier and were settling themselves in your city, but you came to ruin their very first day?

Visit another day, perhaps next week. At least, they would get some time to prepare themselves by hearing rumors so that they wouldn't be shocked and could accept better.

Numerous thoughts ran through Davis's head, making him feel so awkward that he even felt like his cheeks started to burn with embarrassment. He could only look at Tia to see her experiencing the same emotions as there was fine perspiration over her neck.

He knew he was being hasty, but he didn't want to fool or deceive anyone, especially not Tia's parents. It wasn't in his style to keep his relationships secret. He would rather be open and even take his lover away from them if they don't accept, but Tia was his aunt, making things rather awkward for him.

Nonetheless, he had already readied himself to receive some real insults. He was going to accept them all and then convince them.

"In that case, I'll be honest. Grandmother, grandfather, I-"

Every mortal who became an immortal wanted to produce such a progeny. Even if they hadn't achieved anything great in their pursuit of knowledge and cultivation, leaving an immortal baby would at least make them proud in their deaths as their children would easily enter the Immortal Stage in their teens, giving them a massive head start, unlike their other mortal children.

"Right… mother. What do you think about me taking Tia as one of my wives? I love her."

Abruptly, Davis asked.

His question caused Tia to freeze while the brows of others rose as though they had awakened from slumber.

Davis still kept a smile. During their conversation, he reached a comfortable point where he was confident enough to break the topic to them.

"You mean… you want to marry Tia?" Havle Alstreim asked, his eyes wide.

"Yes."

Davis nodded. He reclined back and put his leg over another, "I won't accept any refusals since we already confirmed our love for each other."

"Mother, father!~ I love big brother. Please accept us!"

Tia stood up and went on our knees, lowering her head. Davis saw her and was amused. For all the times she said he wasn't wrong, it seems like she felt guilty herself.

"…"

"From when is this going on?" Lia Alstreim asked with a solemn voice.

"If you're asking when I decided to take Tia as my wife, then that is today."

"That's true." Tia raised her head and agreed as she touched her bosom and opened her mouth, "I've been relentlessly pursuing big brother for most of my life here, so please don't blame him for loving me. If he didn't… then I threatened him that I would… commit suicide!"

"…!"

Lia Alstreim and the others stood up while Davis's brows twitched.

That was a lie.

"Tia, how dare you seduce your big nephew!?"

Lia Alstreim raised her hand, intending to slap Tia.

It made Davis so shocked that he hurriedly stepped up and stood in front of Tia.
