Divorce, Please: The Young Master Does Not Love Me-Chapter 131: Disappointment
Tristan Grayson struggled to suppress his anger. He bent down, scooped her up into his arms, and said coldly, "You really are disobedient..."
His threatening words sent a shiver through Mika Summers, and she looked at him fearfully...
Her expression greatly satisfied Tristan Grayson. His lips curled into a wicked smirk as he threatened her coldly once more, "You know what I hate most are people who don’t listen. And I have plenty of ways to deal with them..."
"Tristan Grayson, you’re despicable..." Her face was ashen. It took her a long moment before she could get the words out.
"Heh... If you dare to leave me, I’m capable of things far more despicable. You think that brother of yours who just came back from overseas can help you? Let me tell you, in Tridell, as long as I, Tristan Grayson, am here, it’s not his place to throw his weight around!"
’Her brother had worked so hard to get where he was. She couldn’t let him run into any trouble because of her.’ "Tristan Grayson..."
"Be obedient and stay by my side. I won’t touch your brother, and I’ll treat your family well." Tristan Grayson’s gaze softened slightly, but a hint of mockery still played at the corner of his mouth.
’He won’t touch my brother, and he’ll treat my family well? So, Tristan Grayson is using my family to threaten me?’
Suddenly, Mika Summers’ face twisted in pain. Waves of agony shot through her lower abdomen, causing her to break out in a cold sweat. The pain made her instinctively clutch Tristan’s arm. "Tristan..."
"Hm? What’s wrong?" Tristan Grayson’s heart lurched.
"My stomach hurts..."
Holding her, Tristan Grayson hurried toward the hospital. "Don’t be afraid. We’re going inside right now."
When Archie Summers arrived, the first thing he saw was Tristan Grayson frantically carrying Mika toward the hospital. A sense of unease grew within him.
He immediately got out of his car and ran after them.
By the time Archie Summers reached the VIP room on the ninth floor, Mika Summers was already on an IV drip.
He said furiously to Tristan Grayson, "Tristan Grayson, explain to me right now. What happened to Mika?"
To Tristan Grayson, the last person he wanted to see right now was Archie Summers. So when he saw Archie walk in, a flicker of shock crossed his eyes before he feigned composure and said coolly, "Mr. Summers, your sister needs to rest. If you’re going to make a scene, please do it outside. Come back when you’re finished."
"Hah... Tristan Grayson, I think the one who should leave is you." Archie Summers sneered and walked to the bedside, sitting on the edge of the bed. He looked at the weak Mika, his brows furrowing with heartache. His tone softened as he said, "I told you to leave him, but you wouldn’t listen. Now that you’re suffering, do you regret it?"
"Archie... I’m sorry..." ’She regretted it. She truly did. She regretted meeting Tristan Grayson, regretted being with him—she regretted everything. It was her fault her brother was dragged into this. They were just ordinary people. How could they possibly stand up to Tristan Grayson?’
Every time he saw Mika like this, any words of blame died on Archie Summers’s lips. He sighed. "Don’t think about it too much. I’m here for you. Just focus on getting better for now. Once you’ve recovered, we can talk about the divorce."
Mika remained silent, a conflicted look on her face. She was afraid that anything she said would disappoint her brother.
But just because she remained silent didn’t mean Tristan Grayson would tolerate it. "You’re quite confident, aren’t you, Mr. Summers?"
"The divorce is happening. Young Master Grayson can just wait for the court summons."
