Divorce, Please: The Young Master Does Not Love Me-Chapter 158: First Love
Amelia Avery and Tiana had just left their classroom when someone came to tell Amelia that Master Jennings was waiting for her at the school gate.
When Amelia Avery heard it was Cassian Jennings, her delicate brows furrowed. ’Cassian is here to see me?’ After what she did to Gia Miller, she hadn’t dared to bother Cassian again. She knew he probably hated her—hated her enough to want her dead.
That was why she hadn’t gone looking for him. She knew with perfect clarity that there was no longer any possibility between her and Cassian.
But now, Cassian had actually come looking for her? ’Has he forgiven me?’
Overjoyed, she took Tiana and headed out of the school.
Jonah Ross leaned against a large tree by the side of the road, his eyes practically popping out of his head as he watched the steady stream of schoolgirls leaving the campus.
His lackeys, who knew their boss’s personality well, chimed in. One of them rubbed his chin and said with a lecherous grin, "I hear that Amelia Avery is still a virgin!"
"Heh heh, we’re gonna score big this time!" another one added with a smirk.
"I heard that even Young Master Joyce likes Amelia Avery. Boss, are we going to get into trouble for doing this?"
At the mention of Young Master Joyce, the smile on Jonah Ross’s face clearly stiffened.
"Who cares? With Miss Miller and the boss backing us, why should we be afraid of some Leo Joyce!"
"You’re right." As he spoke, he suddenly spotted Amelia Avery leaving the school gate and exclaimed excitedly, "She’s out! Boss, look, she’s out!"
Hearing this, Jonah Ross followed their pointed fingers and saw two exceptionally dazzling girls standing in the crowd.
He was never short of beautiful women. Any young model or actress he set his sights on, he would get his hands on.
But when he saw the woman with a faint blush on her face, looking around in confusion for something, his heart suddenly skipped a beat. This electric, heart-pounding feeling was something he’d only ever felt back in his school days—with his first love.
Jonah Ross took the lead and strode toward Amelia Avery and her friend.
Amelia Avery sighed and said with a smile, "Tiana, let’s go."
"But didn’t they say Cassian was here? Aren’t we going to wait for him?"
"We were probably tricked. Think about it, when has Cassian ever come to school looking for me on his own?"
"Hmm, that’s true." ’It seems like he really never has.’
Tiana suddenly looked at Amelia Avery with heartache. Amelia didn’t know whether to laugh or cry at her friend’s expression. "Come on, I’m not even sad yet. What are you getting so upset for?"
"Cassian is too much. When I get home, I’ll have my brother give him a piece of his mind."
Amelia smiled and quickly raised a hand to stop her. "Please, don’t..." ’If you do, Cassian will only hate me more...’
Tiana nodded and looked around, confused. "Okay... Hey, how come Jensen isn’t here yet?"
"He’s probably stuck in traffic. Come on, you can ride in my car today." Amelia took her hand and led her toward a yellow sports car parked by the road.
Just as she opened the car door for Tiana to get in, a hand suddenly reached out and slammed it shut. A roguish voice spoke up, "Hey, beautiful ladies. Interested in making a new friend?"
Amelia Avery turned to look, her lips curling in disdain. "Not interested, thanks!" With that, she pulled Tiana behind her.
Jonah Ross shrugged nonchalantly and took a step forward. He looked past Amelia to Tiana behind her and said in a cold, hard tone, "I’m not interested in talking to you, either. The one I’ve got my eye on is this little beauty here."
"Sorry, my friend’s not interested in you."
Jonah Ross chuckled. "How do you know your friend’s not interested if you don’t let her play a little?" ’These two are clearly way more interesting than that bitch Gia Miller.’
