DRAGONBORN SORCERER-Chapter 53: Orion Labyrinth [Pt—3]: Dairon VS Skyler
Above their heads, appeared another magic circle. However this time around, it was different. The circle was scarlet and scorched in flames.
Emerged from the circle a beautiful woman— dressed as though scales made out of flame itself. She looked gorgeous, and radiated stunningly.
With a slight elegant swing of her hand, the attack from Dairon got deflected and hit the demons instead, reducing them into nothing but mere smoke.
"Who’s that?" Leon said, his eyes turning bewildered as if he had witnessed a goddess saving their lives just now. "How did she appeared out of nowhere?"
"Beats me!" Replied Maya— confused like the rest of them, "Though it’s a good thing that she’s against the demons and not us."
"Right." The remaining nodded.
Vitra who was floating, now stood elegantly next to Skyler— her lord to whom she had devoted herself. Her eyes sparkled while smiling as though giving Skyler a clue to complement her.
"Good work, Vitra!" Skyler exclaimed with admiration as he noticed her hints, "If you don’t mind, go and lend them a hand to exterminate the demons."
"What??" She sighed with a huge disappointment, "But my lo-...Ahem! I mean Skyler." Recalling their last conversation, Vitra immediately changed how she behaved around him.
It’d let others to suspect him if he were to be addressed as ’Lord Skyler’. Thus he forbade Vitra to call him that. Instead she was allowed to act around him casually.
"I thought I am to take on the big guy." She continued, the disappointment still lingering in her eyes, "Didn’t you call me here for that?"
"No." Skyler replied bluntly, "I summoned you here for helping them. I can’t focus on both side at once."
Vitra who had almost ignored the students, looked at them. They were all worn out. They exhausted their mana preserve and now they were struggling against the demons.
"If you wish that, then I guess I don’t have any option left." She began to walk towards the other, "By the way, you look dashing in the uniform, SKYLER."
Even if she said it as to admire his appearance, it sounded more like teasing to him. Though he hardly gave it much attention.

"You ready Dairon?" He said, taking a deep breath and stretching his hands, "Let’s pick where we left off."
His hands enveloped with thunder again, yet slightly different as dark magic circles overlapped his thunder sparkling fists, turning it into intense dark lightning.

Dairon wasn’t exception either. He chuckled. Seeing how he managed to summon someone as strong as Vitra, he didn’t worry. Instead his curiosity grew deeper.
"I was waiting for that." He replied, his hands engulfing in dark flames too, "It doesn’t make any difference just by adding another person. You’ll all going to die."
"Hee-Hee. Right!" Skyler chuckled, his golden eyes blazed like fire, "But you misjudge me."
Skyler’s punch impacted on Dairon’s face with an explosive sound. It was fast. Way faster than before. Dairon wasn’t able to evade or block that. It almost changed his face’s shape.
But it healed as he lend a strike on Skyler. He dodged it, and fall black slightly. Summoning some blue circles around Dairon, he rushed again while whispering "Aqua Slash" to himself.
The water jets— sharper than any blade cut Dairon’s scales. But it healed up too. As he stood confidently to overcome every attack Skyler threw at him, Skyler began to punch.
Punch!
Punch!
Punch!
He continued. Each punch stronger than before and unleashing tremendous thunder effect impacted Dairon’s body from within. He continued the combo hits with thunder clapping sounds.
Until Dairon decided to use his fist and injured Skyler.

They were too fast for the ordinary eyes to follow. Their speed defied the speed of light. Only occasional flash was seen whenever they clashed with each other.
The impacts were even greater. Skyler took the same damage he inflicted on Dairon. Both of them were in same league. While Dairon had the advantage of battle experience, Skyler got his system in his aid.
"Not bad, eh!" Dairon praised, attacking on Skyler’s forehead, "You’re the first one to stand against me alone this long."
"You’re impressive too." He honoured him with a proper reply while blocking his attack, "Say, do you mind if I ask you a question?"
Dairon fell back, seeing a sudden curiosity. He smiled as though surprised by his interest.
"I won’t mind." He replied, "But only if you survive this."
He started gathering his dark mana again. It surged every portion of his body— down to every last cell as he wielded a catastrophe level attack.
Then... he compressed it into a small cubic shape as if some kind of forth dimensional attack.
Skyler chuckled a bit, glancing at the system interface which was still beeping with a notification.
[Alert: Remaining HP: 980/20100]
[Alert: Remaining MP: 1200/ 15600]
’If I use the remaining of my MP on defense, I won’t have any for my offense.’ He thought, his eyes a little concerned, ’In that case I have to use something that’ll play both as defense and offense."
He prepared with his remaining MP, took a deep breath and converted them into his light element.
The more he focused the intense the light had become— until it finally materialized resembling a lance; like his Frost Lance, but distinct from that.
Dark vs Light— Dairon vs Skyler— Demon General vs Dragonborn Sorcerer, and the clash was about to occur.
"DIMENSION DISMANTLE!!!!!!" Dairon roared as he unleashed the devastating attack on Skyler.
"PHOTON STRIKE!!!!!!" Skyler screamed too with his glowing light— intense and shining.
In between their distance, the two catastrophe level spells clashed, making a tremendous shockwave as it continued unleashing mana.

Meanwhile, Vitra approached Maya and her friends. Seeing their miserable condition, she sympathized.
Her attire and presence was new to them. They couldn’t help but wonder who she actually was.
"How did you even appear here?" Julian was first to ask her, "And who exactly are you?"
"Me?" Vitra smiled as though finding it amusing to see their confused face, "Don’t worry about me. I’m just his friend." She pointed at Skyler who was fight at lightspeed back then. "There’s a small connection between us. Whenever he needs help, he just remembers of me. And next thing you know, I appear anywhere he might be."
"Whoa!" Maya exclaimed with slightly irritation, "You’re making it as you’re connected to him by the thread of fate."
"You can say that too, you know." Replying to them she gazed at the approaching demons, "We can continue our conversation after we take care of them, what do you say."
"I can’t disagree to that." They nodded.
"Students, why don’t you rest up a bit while your big sister handles the situation?"
"Big sister? Really?" Charlotte laughed softly.
"Jeez! Charlotte." Emily replied, "That’s bit of rude. Don’t you think."
"Yeah, she’s right." Said Leon, "She’s here to help us."
Vitra felt a little embarrassed. She felt like saying something so odd was what she might not have said in the first place. She couldn’t take it back either.
At the moment where they almost forgot that they were still in a battle ground, they almost lost their guards; giving the shadow demons an opening to strike them.
Out of nowhere, they leaped on them with their attacks, and was about to strike them. But then...
Vitra’s gaze cut through like a sharp wind as countless shackles of flame began to wrap and obliterate them one after another.
"You dare to interfere!" She said. Even though her voice seemed low, it carried a hint of infuriation. Like before, if anything she hated so much, it was when someone tried to interrupt her. And the consequences were not simple.
Suddenly the heat of the area raised at an alarming rate. Maya and the others could feel the rage in Vitra’s eyes. They swallowed hard only to find their throat had been dried out. Though the effect was less than the effect on the demons.
No matter how many they came, everyone was destroyed.
"So where were we just now." Vitra turned back, "Ah yes. Just like a said, leave it to your big sister. I’ll handle them." She smiled, carrying a hint of overpowering them.
They couldn’t help but to smile forcibly. After all, her sheer presence was making them feeling the intense heat. If they were to defy her, who knew what might happened to them. Though she wasn’t going to anything as to hurt them.
Skyler told her to protect, and she was carrying his wish.
"You’re a flame user?" However Emily seemed to be curious, "I have he grace of Agni too. But mine are not that intense as yours."
"Yes, I can tell that too." Vitra replied, "I can sense the graces in you, and in you." Vitra pointed at Emily and Julian— the only two who had Grace of Agni as well.
"If you train hard, someday you might be able to use this too." She encouraged them, "Now pay attention. I’m going to show them how it’s felt to face my wrath."
Vitra closed her eyes. Taking a deep breath, she outstretched her hands just before her face and made a triangle shape by joining her fingers.
"AGNI REALM!" She whispered with a gentle tone and a massive flame circle covered the floor they were standing on.
The demons in the range of the circle evaporated within a blink of an eye. The demons who cam afterwards evaporated too, as soon as they took a step onto the circle.
And it stayed like that.
"Whoa! That’s amazing big sis." Emily exclaimed, her eyes sparkling enthusiastically.
’She finally called me big sis!’ Vitra thought while seeming a bit happy, ’I’m going to show them what I’m capable of.’
But she got outshined as Dairon’s and Skyler’s attack clashed in the next moment. It filled the area with light— harder to even see anything. Even for Frey whose speciality was light.
