"I am Water warlock, I am the wisest of the wise, and yet, here I am trapped in this dagger. What was I thinking when I volunteered myself to pass my consciousness into such an artifact?

I planned everything, from the trials to the method of activation, but perhaps I should have used a different artifact, something mechanical that allowed me to move while I waited," It was just another day in the already countless millennia he spent trapped inside that dagger, only now it was different. "perhaps if I was able to move around, I wouldn’t be bound to this useless kid."

Of all the possibilities he anticipated, never did it cross the ancient being’s mind that the person who would find the dagger wouldn’t be the strongest warrior, not just that, the one who found it was barely an adult. Granted, he was capable enough to bypass his trials, or maybe he was just lucky, but that didn’t make it any less humiliating for Water warlock.

Now, he was forced to stay within the boundaries of Uriel’s trait with nothing to entertain himself but the sight of his museum. At first, roaming the museum was exhilarating and he was able to learn many things about Uriel’s world just by the artifacts he brought.

The one good thing about being bound to Uriel was that although the ancient language of Water warlock’s civilization had been lost to time, somehow it was present within his museum.

However, Water warlock soon realized that he wasn’t alone in Uriel’s trait. It was a beautiful dark skinned woman, the first woman he saw in ages and he couldn’t help but feel flustered. She had long toned legs that led directly to her shapelly buttocks, though the minute he laid eyes on her, she turned around stunning Water warlock’s ethereal presence in place.

"Who’s there!?" Nika shouted, still trying to make sense of the strange place she had been sent to.

’Should I reply? What should I say? What should I do? Ah! it’s been so long I’m completely off my game.’ Water warlock thought in a panicked state as his ethereal presence moved from side to side trying to avoid being noticed directly by Nika.

After a couple minutes, Water warlock finally settled and heaved a sigh trying to gather his resolve to speak to the woman.

"Stop staring at my butt, I know you’re there, I can feel you!"

’No, I can’t do this.’ Water warlock covered his face with both hands as he silently retreated back to his own dominion inside the dagger.

Over time, several encounters similar to that one happened. Sometimes Water warlock walked inside the museum at ’inconvenient’ times, where Nika was cleaning herself and Water warlock lingered for a few moments before heading back into his den.

"I can’t believe this, I am the most powerful being in existence. How is it possible that I get flustered every time I see her, how come I end up blushing like a... like a kid!" It finally dawned on Water warlock the reason why he felt that way. It wasn’t the pent up eons of loneliness or that he was off his game, it was that his emotions and Uriel’s were swapped.

Knowing this finally gave him the courage to confront Nika and let her know he was there, but what he saw when he came back into Uriel’s trait left him in a daze. Instead of the beautiful sunkissed woman that sent him back to his den, there was a pale skinny woman, she was thirsty, hungry and deprived of flux energy to the point where she could barely remain conscious.

"This isn’t right... I need to do something to help her. Help her... why would I help her!? She’s nothing to me, she’s a..." Water warlock’s rant was cut short by Nika’s soft moaning which prompted him to get close to her.

Fortunately for him, his ethereal presence was invisible to her and she only perceived him when he stared and before he could stop himself he provided some water to Nika using his power and then proceeded to let out a tiny amount of flux energy, just enough to wake Uriel up.

"Wake up, dumb kid. You’re starving the girl."

Maybe it was human compassion overtaking his own heart, maybe it was just the reasonable thing to do considering that the woman might become useful to him one day, but nothing changed the fact that he saved her life that day.

Over the next weeks, Water warlock managed to hack into the device called ’smartphone’ and he used it to spy on Uriel whenever he took it out and to communicate with him using the system. A feat like that was no issue for someone as intelligent as Water warlock, but unfortunately for him his access was limited and he couldn’t even write a message.

All he could do was to change the settings so the messages popped at the times he thought convenient.

Water warlock cringed over and over after witnessing Uriel’s many failures. He was considered a bottom feeder by most and people barely noticed his presence. Something like that was unthinkable for such a noble being like Water warlock who was accustomed to being worshipped by the masses. What bothered him the most, though, was how inredibly dense he was when talking to the females of his species.

For whatever reason, some cute girls were drawn to him and he failed to make a move on them on every single occasion.

Nevertheless, not everything was bad. Water warlock greatly enjoyed watching the video recordings stored in his device and he watched them over and over to learn more about human society.

"So, this is called a Vlog. It’s quite interesting. I see, humans can acquire traits when killing beasts... What is this one about? Oh! This is too good!" Water warlock laughed heartily after watching Medusa shooting balls at Uriel.

After having his arm twisted into striking a deal with an unfit youngling, it brought him great pleasure seeing him suffer at the hands of that woman.
