"That woman again!" Water warlock complained as he retreated back to his domain. Whenever she appeared in the museum his heart began to race and he couldn’t fight the desire to speak to her. Thankfully for him, each time Uriel relied on his power he regained some control over his emotions.

If things continued like that, he would be able to take over his body and look for the strongest warrior by himself. There was, however, a problem.

Although Uriel became a lot stronger, he just wasn’t interested in amassing power. His sole desire was to become an archaeologist and everything else was just a means to that end. Because of that, all he could do to pass the time was to see the artifacts in the museum.

The pocket knife was beautiful but of little interest to him, the smartphone had become a source of never ending frustration to him since he couldn’t break further through its security and the revolver was too weak to even be considered a weapon to someone like him. But the magazine, that was an entirely different matter.

"This is just for scientific curiosity..." Water warlock said after gulping down his saliva, trying to muster the courage to steal it. Many times he tried, but the fear of Nika popping into the museum just at the wrong time and catching him red handed was too much to bear. As usual, just when he was about to grab the magazine for himself, Nika appeared on the museum and beat him to it.

"Ahh, this place is always at the perfect temperature and no one can bother me here." She let out a sigh as she made herself comfortable near the souvenir shop to read the magazine.

Much to Water warlock’s dismay, taking naps inside Uriel’s trait had become a regular thing for Nika. She would pass the time, check the artifacts and sometimes she danced or did silly things thinking no one could see her.

The more Water warlock saw her, the more intense his feelings for her became. However, since ther emotions were swapped, his feelings for Nika affected Uriel while Uriel’s feelings affected him. The confirmation of this phenomenon happened at the most unexpected moment.

"It’s now or never," Water warlock said after Nika exited the museum and se hurriedly grabbed the magazine and retreated back to his domain with a jagged breath. "I did it! I finally did it!"

No matter what kind of ability or power did it grant to Uriel, that collector’s edition ’Lewd ladies’ magazine was the biggest treasure on Water warlock’s hands. Maybe because of the influence of Uriel’s emotions, Water warlock convinced himself that he was reading it out of pure curiosity.

He even feigned interest in the few and short articles on the magazine before hoping into the juicy pictures that portrayed beautiful women making all sorts of suggestive poses. Stay updated via novelbuddy

"These humans are more advanced than my civilization ever was, at least on some aspects. Their females are quite something." He let out in a sigh.

It was the fateful day when Medusa used her petrifying glare on Uriel for the second time and somehow managed to enter the mystical realm where Water warlock resided.

All it took was a glance at her and he knew he was in trouble. In spite of all his might, he couldn’t help but look at her pronounced curves, her soft lips and beautiful face. Everything she did was graceful on his eyes, even when she scolded him for ’eating Uriel’s heart’.

"You shouldn’t be here, child."

’Why is she nagging me about something that happened so long ago? He’s completely fine now... I wish I could shut her with a kiss, but I better threaten her not to ever show her face in here again. If I see her again...

I’m afraid I won’t be able to say no to her even if she asked me to quit my mission.’ Water warlock hated every minute of Uriel’s feelings, but the short interaction with Medusa was actually pretty pleasant.

Over time, Water warlock learned more about Uriel and his friends. He spent so much time watching his Vlogs that he felt compelled to communicate with them, but Medusa refused to let Uriel know that he could communicate with him through the system. Many times Uriel himself tried to speak to him and being unable to reply was beyond infuriating.

He tried a couple times to exit Uriel’s body, just so he could speak to him. Just to warn him not to abuse the blessing’s power. He even tried to posess a doll, one that Luna called Mister Wabbit, but his unsurmountable flux energy proved to be too much and the doll exploded into pieces.

Even if he didn’t want to admit it, deep down he was rooting for Uriel to become stronger. He wasn’t a bad kid and had a good head over his shoulders.

After all, growing up he was never the strongest, but even so Father of many nations was never able to defeat him in battle because he was smarter. Intelligence and wisdom were his main characteristics and he could relate to Uriel in a sense.

At some point, Uriel asked him for guidance and Water warlock happily complied. It was the first step for a healthy symbiotic relationship, to trust each other even if it was out of necessity. Besides, by spending some of Uriel’s flux energy, Water warlock was also able to stabilize his feelings a littler, which brought him some much needed peace of mind.

By possessing a stronger doll, a feathered snake summoned with the specific purpose of serving as a channel, Water warlock showed the way trying to keep it alive for as long as possible. However, Water warlock’s bad luck streak was seemingly endless.

’Let me go!’ He inwardly shouted as he was being grabbed on both ends by Medusa and Luna. They hugged him and while being squished right in the middle of those bountiful mounds wasn’t, by all means, a bad thing, Time was limited and he needed to point the way to his laboratory before his flux energy overloads the doll.
