Insight related to combat surged into Caelus’s mind. Basic combat movements became crystal clear in his thoughts as his muscle memory began to slowly adjust.

It was basic, but it allowed him to gain foundational knowledge over combat. This was the full martial accumulation of Albert’s experience.

It was not bad.

But he still had not received the talent.

That just meant one thing.

He still needed to grind.

Without hesitation, he sent Albert another invitation.

Light flashed, and he was right inside the arena once again.

Albert looked at Caelus with twitching lips.

"Why are you repeatedly sending me invitations if it is just to bully me?" Albert asked with a dry look on his face.

Did Brother Caelus want to humiliate him or something? Why else would he repeatedly invite him to the arena just to one-shot him?

"Are you ready?" Caelus asked with a deadpan look on his face.

"I am," Albert replied speechlessly.

"Good, then here I come."

Caelus’s figure blurred at a pace that no ordinary human could track, and in the following moment, he was right beside Albert.

This time, there was genuine weight behind his fists. Having extracted basic combat experience from his friend, he knew exactly how to deliver full kinetic force into each punch. He realized he had been doing it completely wrong this entire time.

Boom!

The impact hit significantly harder this time. Albert did not even have time to dodge before his avatar was destroyed.

"Extract."

He wasted no time and immediately began the extraction process.

"Yes!" Caelus jumped in pure joy.

Finally, it was here.

His extraction ability certainly did not disappoint him.

He had managed to extract the talent and also obtained two powerful skills. And one of them was actually at the Rare rarity!

[Skill: Compressed Lightning Shot - Compress and amplify lightning to shoot a destructive force equal to your combined combat score. Stuns and blinds the enemy while wreaking havoc on their internal body. Cost: 5 Mana.]

[Skill: Lightning Step - Utilize lightning to drastically increase movement speed. Cost: 5 Mana.]

"A pity I do not have a Virtual Reality Access Card, or else I could use it to train with monsters."

But then again, wasn’t he currently in the Arena? Since that was the case, he should definitely try to fight more opponents and see if he could extract their skills too.

Caelus checked his rank. It was precisely at 10,069.

This rank was most likely what he got from defeating Albert.

Since that was the case, he directly clicked on the ’Find Random Opponent’ button.

Light flashed, and a shadowy yet bright figure popped into the arena.

The figure had no distinct appearance, but this was perfectly normal. If you chose to remain anonymous, then not even the gods could see your face.

"Let’s have a good battle." The other party spoke. Their voice was completely androgynous.

"Good luck," Caelus replied smoothly.

Following that, the system began the combat countdown.

The instant the final word fell, the shadowy figure waved their hands. A massive, heavy wave of water formed directly out of thin air. It was a D-Rank Talent. Water Manipulation.

The opponent sent the heavy tidal wave crashing towards Caelus with immense, suffocating speed.

Seeing this, Caelus’s expression remained completely calm.

Blue lightning crackled violently around his legs. Caelus activated Lightning Step. His body blurred into a brilliant streak of blue electricity. He skipped through the arena so incredibly fast that the heavy water attack hit nothing but empty space.

He appeared directly above the anonymous player. Caelus opened his palm, and a massive Fireball instantly materialized. Without a single ounce of hesitation, he threw it down heavily, quickly following it up with several charged Weapon Manifestations.

The opponent quickly tried to block the incoming barrage with a thick, swirling wall of water.

Boom!

Hot steam instantly filled the arena from the violent collision, and the shadowy figure stumbled back, visibly injured. But Caelus was not done at all. He immediately activated Blood Manipulation.

The shadowy figure suddenly froze in place. Their own blood actively rebelled against them for a brief, agonizing second. They choked and grabbed their chest in complete shock, left totally defenseless.

The open injury from the previous attack acted as the perfect conduit for Caelus to utilize his Blood Manipulation.

Then, just as quickly, Caelus finally deployed his brand-new domain.

Crackle!

Lightning erupted across the arena floor as everything within a five-meter radius was instantly engulfed in a storm of blue electricity. The spilled water on the ground only amplified the lightning, conducting the raw electricity perfectly.

The opponent trembled violently as the blue electricity shocked their paralyzed body.

As Caelus was right now, his effective combat score was completely locked at 10!

The other party simply could not match his raw output.

A combat score of 10 while only at Level 2 thanks to the lightning domain talent.

This was definitely a massive achievement, but there was always a bigger fish in the sea. Sylvia and the so-called Kevin she mentioned were prime examples, but it was fine. He would catch up with them soon enough.

For now, those two were his immediate goal.

If he could not even defeat a weak opponent like this effortlessly, was he truly worthy of holding the Endless Extraction Talent?!

Lightning crackled even more violently around his form. For a split second, Caelus’s eyes began to glow with dense blue energy. He stretched his hand out and made a sharp, flicking gesture with his fingers.

All of the ambient lightning he had produced shot directly into his fingertips, forming a violent, highly condensed sphere of pure electricity.

Boom!

"Compressed Lightning Shot."

The condensed lightning shot towards the opponent with immense, blinding speed, physically tearing through the air.

The figure, seeing this incoming doom, showed a look of absolute horror.

Flash!

The compressed lightning blasted right through their watery defenses and utterly destroyed their avatar instantly.

"Too easy," Caelus commented speechlessly as his figure blurred with residual static electricity, leaving a blue trail behind him.

Within seconds, he crossed the distance and firmly utilized his extraction skill on the fading avatar.

[System: Extraction failed...]

The extraction completely failed. Nothing came from the other party.

"Oh well, I cannot always get things perfectly, can I?" Caelus sighed.

He then noticed that his overall Arena rank had risen sharply now that the battle was officially over.

"Not bad." Caelus smiled.

He was highly satisfied with the explosive results of the Lightning Domain talent. As for the Blood Manipulation, it wasn’t bad at all. The only real downside was the heavy mana cost required to initiate it. Fortunately, his Lightning Step and Compressed Lightning Shot only cost 5 mana each, making them incredibly cost-effective for rapid, overwhelming combat.

That said, Caelus left the Arena.

Right now, he wanted to do something first and that was access to the trade hub and besides, one can only access the arena for an hour, outside of formal duals initiated in real life, the network made it so that you can only enter for 1 hour per day, to not make someone spend all day inside the arena and also to keep everything under balance.
