Everyone Wants to Pamper the Lucky Daughter-Chapter 528 - 527: Protecting the Prince, Guarding Him for Life_1
Chapter 528: Chapter 527: Protecting the Prince, Guarding Him for Life_1
Lin Qingluo’s pupils shrank slightly, instinctively averting her eyes and avoiding his gaze.
“You should also pay attention to your own body. As I’ve said before, Charming Skill can bewitch people’s minds, but it can also harm your own vitality. If used excessively, it will eventually backfire.”
“Thank you for the reminder, Noble Lord.”
Noble Lord smiled faintly, his every frown and smile filled with charm. He seemed like a completely different person compared to the rude and overbearing man who had confronted her just a few days ago.
“If Noble Lord has no other matters, I shall take my leave.”
As the night grew late, Lin Qingluo didn’t linger. Without waiting for Noble Lord’s response, her figure flickered and she disappeared from the spot.
A destined benefactor, huh?!
Noble Lord’s eyes flashed, and he thought of the prophecy from the Immortal Sect expert many years ago. He sighed softly.
Hopefully, she really can fulfill the prophecy: protecting the Little Prince and keeping him safe for his entire life.

Early the next morning, when the sky was just beginning to brighten, the Little Prince woke up, clambered out of bed, got dressed, pushed open the door, and ran out of the room, happily wandering around in the Serene Snow Pavilion.
“Awoo.”
Baoya raised his eyelids, glanced at the still dim sky, lifted his front paw, covered his mouth with a yawn, and then stretched with his back arched.
“The Little Prince is awake! Quickly prepare his washing items and tell the kitchen to prepare breakfast.”
The Palace Maids who had gotten up to use the restroom were startled when they saw the Little Prince wandering around in the courtyard. Their hearts raced as they ran from room to room, knocking on each door to wake everyone up.
The Palace Maids were in a frenzied scramble to get dressed and wash themselves, the sounds of basins clattering and combs falling to the floor were endless.
Housekeeper Nurse’s face darkened as she angrily scolded, “Keep it down! His Majesty rested in the Serene Snow Pavilion last night. If you make such a commotion and wake him up, do you all want to lose your lives?”
The noisy chaos instantly disappeared. The Palace Maids were so scared that their souls nearly left their bodies. They meekly nodded and dispersed, each finding a quiet corner to wash up and dress themselves.
By the time everyone was ready, a stick of incense had already burned.
The Little Prince grew bored of wandering around the courtyard and returned to his room.
Leaning against the window, his eyes wide open, he stared up at the sky.
“The sun hasn’t risen yet, when will it be巳时? Is Sister awake yet?”
“Awoo.”
Baoya, hearing the Prince’s subconscious mutterings, obediently called out twice and jumped off the bed, rubbing affectionately against his wrist.
“Baoya, do you think Sister is awake?”
As the Little Prince held Baoya, caressing its soft, snowy white fur, his large eyes shone brightly.
“Awoo.”
Baoya obediently called out and nodded his head as if he understood.
“Sister is awake, that’s great.”
The Little Prince was delighted by Baoya’s intelligence, his obsidian-like eyes twinkling with countless stars. “After we finish breakfast, go and find Sister. Ask her to take us out of the palace and play outside the city.”
“Awoo.”
Baoya seemed to understand, nodding again and revealing a clumsy, endearing smile.

Lin Qingluo checked on the Little Prince and saw that he had taken the Spirit Pill, its effects working remarkably well. With one worry resolved, she slept soundly through the night.
Qinghe woke early, arriving at Lin Qingluo’s chambers just as the sky brightened. She peeked through the door’s crack into the room.
Lin Qingluo, hearing the faint sound, opened her eyes and thought about her promise to the Little Prince: to take him out of the city for a day trip. She pulled back the curtains and softly called for Qinghe to enter.
“Miss, are you awake?”
As Qinghe heard Lin Qingluo’s voice, she pushed the door open, stepped over the threshold, and slowly approached the bed. She pushed the bed curtains open to either side and hung them on silver hooks.
