Neil was surrounded by darkness. As his senses returned to his body, he felt hot air against his skin.

For a moment, his heart stopped, wondering if he had arrived just moments before his death.

Opening his eyes, he found himself standing in the hot zone.

Confusion filled his mind, but then he looked around and found Leon and several other elven archers.

He was back to the point when he had come to find a link and had just sent a message to his teacher.

’Then... everyone, Eli, are all still alive!!’ Neil felt a calmness settle over his heart.

He had hoped to be sent back to an even earlier time, but this was not bad.

’Nemo, quickly purchase a flame core and some bombs!’ he said with urgency.

Taking a step back, he patted Leon’s shoulder and muttered, "Good job."

The commander of his legion tilted his head, wondering what exactly it was that he had done.

"We are returning to our domain, hurry up!!" his urgent voice made them stiffen, then turning, they all started running back at full speed.

As the purchase finished, Neil too sprinted back, quickly reaching the domain.

’This time will be different, I won’t let that bastard hurt her, definitely not!!’ he thought, determined.

Even if he had to go through even more pain, he wouldn’t let his Eli or the other subjects be subjected to that pain and despair.

"It’s done, master." Nemo replied, she too confused as to why Neil was acting so strangely.

"Nemo, hurry up and get Magnar to start his evolution." He handed the core to the guardian and then took out a pen and paper from his storage.

He wrote a message and decided to add more, hoping that those people could have a chance at survival this time.

The domain had already started to move in the same direction as before.

"Jet..." he looked at his first troop, patting the head of the vulture, then ordered, "Deliver this message to Hiroshima immediately and come back."

Right then, the alarm began to ring out, showing the danger of level three.

’It has begun!!’ Neil’s heart was beating wildly. This time he would use previous knowledge to change the future.

As everyone noticed the movement of the domain, they all walked out.

"Lord, we are leaving-? Oh!!" but noticing the level 3 danger, they all understood.

"Hubby..." Eli walked out of the healing hut. Just now she felt a headache and saw some strange images.

She felt they might be related to her past, but they weren’t clear enough.

"Eli!!" Neil’s breath paused as he saw his beautiful and graceful woman.

His body moved before his mind responded, and he pulled the surprised druid into a tight hug.

"W- What’s wrong?" this hug seemed different from the usual ones. It was like he was afraid of her disappearing.

"I am sorry..." his voice was heavy, his face pressing against her neck, her scent calming his nerves.

That sight, he would never be able to forget it. It truly broke him. He hadn’t felt as desperate or broken even after dying time and time again.

Not even when Jane left or he got abducted by the Lizzards had he truly given up on living.

Ileana hugged him back, silently comforting him without asking anything.

The domain moved, quickly crossing by the settlement.

"This time, I will protect you even if I have to die a million times." He whispered, though the healer couldn’t understand anything.

Then turning, he pulled out the elemental bow and drew the string as an earth arrow began to take shape.

He pulled harder, stacking it up to two times, and just stared into the fog. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

KRRIIEEE

Jet’s voice soon sounded as he returned, having delivered the message to Hiroshima.

But just as he got closer to the domain, something shot through the ground, stabbing towards the vulture.

BANG

BOOOM!!

Right at that moment, Neil shot the arrow. The destructive arrow struck the tail of the scorpion, making it miss entirely.

Jet was startled and twisted, quickly entering the domain.

’Sigh, first casualty stopped.’ Neil put away the bow as the domain sped on quickly.

"L- Lord, how did you know?" Leon was startled. He knew their lord was powerful, but to this level?

"Increase the defense, but don’t send the vultures out." He ordered, and Leon got to work.

Neil designated various tasks to them all. Since he knew which danger was going to appear and when, he could be fully prepared.

The only worrisome thing was that large beast king. It was at the 3rd Origin, and matching its power without a 2nd Origin domain was impossible.

’Oh right, the domain cores... I wonder if anyone had diamond class domains in the settlement. How did I forget about it?’

After the last experience, Neil’s will had become much stronger. Even the influence of this place failed to make him forget about it.

’The next danger, the ten tailed scorpions, will be arriving soon...’ Neil thought. Unfortunately, it was already too late to go and check that place.

And Cinthia had not replied either.

At least, this time Magnar would be ready early.

They continued to move, soon appearing at the place where they had fought the scorpions.

Having taken care of that, Neil used Sonic and quickly moved through the horde.

"Great, this time we didn’t waste any time here. Now for some time the number of beasts will reduce- hmm?"

Neil’s eyes widened in shock as he saw space not far away from his domain buzzing strangely.

He squinted and saw it being torn, and a darkness began to pour out, the size of the hole increasing.

"A Link!!" his eyes widened in shock. How had a link opened here all of a sudden?

Nothing of that sort had happened previously. It seemed some things had changed after he came back, which should have been impossible.

’Is it related to that explosion earlier?’ Neil wondered as he slowed down his domain and waited.

If the creatures inside weren’t too powerful, he would take over the Link and things would become much easier.

Soon, Phaged began to pour out, 1st Origin and 2nd Origin, but they were all weak.

’This is strange. It’s like they have been pulled here forcefully at a bad time.

Teacher did tell me that when phage take over any creature, the Phaged forms become stronger, but there is a time in the Phantom planet when all creatures weaken... hmm, looks like the link has really been opened forcefully.’
