The employee was a lady wearing the standard Rucci uniform paired with a stilettos. She looked sharp and presentable, carrying a gentle smile as she approached Roland who had just entered the well-known luxury brand's store.

"Good morning, Mister!" She greeted Roland with a smile and clasped hands in front of her belly.

"Good morning!" Roland greeted back. He was surprised that she was actually quite polite and professional.

She didn't seem to be condescending. Clearly not the 'target' that he wanted.

Anyway, Roland was not disheartened. She was not the only employee inside this store after all. He still wants to take his chances and see if he could earn some Face-Slapping points this way.

Roland entered the store as the lady gestured for him to come inside.

"Would you like me to accompany you, Mister? Or would you like to look around first?" The lady asked.

Roland looked at the name badge over her chest and noticed that her name was Gina.

He thought for a bit before finally replying, "No need. I'll look around for a bit."

Since she was quite polite, Roland did not plan on keeping her any longer as it might drive away potential 'targets' for face-slapping.

Gina nodded her head in understanding after hearing that. There were indeed customers that didn't want to be disturbed while shopping. It was important to ask that question in advance to know the customer's stance.

"Got it! You can just wave your hand later on if you need something from me."

She then bowed and went toward the counter where her colleagues were standing.

Roland nodded his head and decided to look around the display cabinets.

The Rucci brand was a famous luxury brand around the world. Their product ranges from bags, clothes, shoes and basically other items that could easily be flaunted.

In this particular store, Roland noticed that they are mostly displaying bags suitable for women.

By coming here, of course, Roland had already planned on buying something.

Bags for example, were a perfect gift for Stacey and perhaps for Janine as well. Though, Janine might prefer accessories related to cars instead of these kinds of luxurious bags.

Anyway, he browsed through all the bags and noticed their sleek design with most of them featuring a colorful stripe pattern–the pattern that the Rucci brand was famous for.

The most expensive out of all of them, though, was surprisingly a brown scarf encased inside a display box.

For such a minor item, it actually costs 500 Global Dollars. For a tropical place like Fore City, buying and wearing such an item would surely scream luxury… and maybe idiocy?

'Well, who knows what's truly going on inside rich people's minds.' Roland thought to himself.

Even though he could be considered a wealthy person right now, due to his roots, Roland would still feel pain if he bought such a useless item with such a price. If it's given to him, though, that would be a different matter altogether.

After looking around for a few minutes, Roland could still not find the bag that would be the perfect gift for both Stacey and Janine.

He was not an expert with such items and he doesn't particularly know what Stacey and Janine would like.

And besides, it's been more than a few minutes, why didn't the usual plot occur?

Normally, a condescending person should have already approached him and berated him for looking around for too long.

'Why is obtaining points so hard these days?'

Roland looked around curiously, at this point, there were already other customers browsing the store aside from him.

Most of them were actually accompanied by other Rucci employees and he seemed to be an oddity as he roamed around alone. Glancing around, he also noticed that most of those who shopped were already wearing expensive looking clothes paired with a lot of jewelry, making his ordinary attire and get-up even more pronounced in such a setting.

Even so, the face-slapping opportunity he had been searching for seemed to be even more elusive.

Sighing, Roland shook his head and did not think too much about it anymore.

Since he was here to buy a suitable gift for Stacey and Janine, he decided to let the expert recommend something to him.

He then glanced around and searched for Gina who tried to assist him earlier. Since he could not find something suitable, he decided to hear some recommendations from her.

At this time, he realized that she was already assisting another customer.

She seemed to have noticed his gaze, though, as her head turned as both of them locked eyes.

Seemingly aware of his plight, she nodded her head before turning to the customer she was assisting–an old man with gray hair appearing with a commanding and well-experienced vibe. One glance and one would be able to tell that he was a person of great status.

Gina smiled at the old man and seemingly said something to him, causing a slight frown to appear on his face. Eventually though, he nodded his head and gestured with his hand for Gina to move away.

Roland saw the interaction and thought that this might be the prelude to his long awaited moment.

He smiled in anticipation as Gina approached him with a smile.

"What can I do for you, Mister?"

Before answering her, Roland took another glance at the old man and asked, "Why did you leave him? He might get offended by your action."

Gina merely smiled and answered, "No need to worry about it, Mister. He is not one of our customers so it's fine."

"Not a customer?" Roland tilted his head in confusion.

If he was not a customer, then it might be hard for him to earn face-slapping points this time.

Shaking his head, Roland got rid of his thoughts as he focused on the matter at hand.

After sharing his plight to Gina, she thought for a bit before answering.

"Follow me Mister, I have a few suggestions for you that any woman would like," she said with great confidence.

"Oh? Give me your best shot, then!"
